Laden straightened his posture and displayed an extrely attentive expression.
The topic had been sothing he was interested in for quite a while; he had even asked pri but pri seed to not really know for sure.
"Summoners, as you all may know, have a Nascent Space where the Nascent Core resides," Dally said in a loud voice.
"Alongside the Nascent Core, Summons also reside in that space until they are summoned to rge with the Summoner,"
"And finally the Nascent Space usually serves as the storage point for Spirit Energy," She said.
Laden wasn’t too shocked by all she had been saying previously since that was sothing he had figured out himself a long ti ago,, but the final statent was foreign to him.
"So my Spirit Energy is stored in the Nascent Space," Laden muttered.
"Obviously, why do you think I could give you such accurate information about it then?" Pri said from the Nascent space.
"If all of that is true, then the Nascent Space is much more important than I thought."
Laden had always pictured the Nascent Space as so sort of Storage or inner house where Summoners keep their summons, but now it seems deeper than that.
"Before we really proceed into the main point of this class, is there anyone that would like to ask a question?" Dally asked while she scanned.
She waited for a bit more ti, and seeing no one actually raise their hands, she noticed only a serious expression all over their faces.
"It seems you all are really interested," she said with a smile.
"Now that we know that the Nascent Space holds our Spirit Energy which is an extrely important aspect for us Spiriters, we should know that it’s a determinant of the rank."
"Makes a lot of sense to be that way," Laden said to himself.
"So now, the ranks of Summoners are divided into White, Grey, and Bronze as low class Summoners, "
"You will be hearing of higher levels as we proceed," Dally said with a sly smile.
"Each of these colors represents the color of the Nascent Space after a specific level of Spirit Energy is present in it."
"So the main point of advancing as Summoners is increasing our Spirit Energy reserve," Laden said.
"Then I am on the right track," excitent written all over his face.
"I know this can be quite a bulky bit of information for you all, so I would summarize one more ti. "
"I said that the rank of Summoners are determined by the Spirit Energy reserve in the Nascent Space and the ranks are denoted by colors like White, gray, brown, etc., each one being a result of the color of the Nascent Space,"
"Is that clear now?" she said while looking at the student, to which all of the students nodded succinctly.
"Since we have gotten that out of the way, I know a question will be popping up in your minds."
"How do we increase our Spirit Energy?"
"And the answer is very simple. Accustomization, getting to know our summons, and getting closer with them make our essence rge deeper and stronger, thus increasing our reserves.
While he listened to Dally speak in the front of the class, Laden was occupied with his own thoughts.
He was currently thinking back to all of his actions for the past few days, how he had made so progress with his Spirit Energy reserve.
"We are making progress; it might be slow, but yes, we are making progress," he affird.
"But despite all the progress, almost everything can still kill in that place. I need to grow stronger if I want to help anything," he thought.
Before his mind could start spiraling out of control, he suddenly felt soone lock onto him. Laden quickly looked up to see who it was.
At that mont, he locked eyes with Dally, who had a stern expression on her face.
"Scary woman," Pri suddenly said from inside the Nascent Space.
"Yes. "Yes, she is," Laden agreed.
Dally opened her mouth as if she wanted to say sothing, but she quickly closed it and ignored Laden to proceed with the lecture.
She continued giving the students a more detailed explanation of what she had said, making sure they didn’t mix up any part. After about an hour, Dally seed ready to end the class.
"That about sums it all up," she said with a smile that quickly morphed into a serious expression as she opened her mouth to say sothing.
"Make sure you get all of this straight; Summoners can’t afford to make mistakes," she said, a glint flashing through her eyes.
After stating that, she turned around to leave the classroom, now completely ignoring the bewildered students.
Her steps displayed the usual confidence, but she suddenly ca to a halt upon getting to the class entrance; she then turned around and said.
"Laden Monroe, see when the day is over."
Dally didn’t wait for a response or even a reaction before she turned around to fully leave the class.
Laden, the target of her words, sat shocked in his spot, having no idea what he was supposed to do.
"Why is she looking for , what did I do?" Laden muttered.
"Pri, what do you think she wants?" Laden asked the only person he felt he could.
"I have no idea; we can only co to a conclusion when we actually see her," Pri responded quite nonchalantly.
"How can you be so nonchalant in a situation like this?" Laden asked.
"What? This one is not scared of anything, especially not a human woman," he said proudly.
"Hmmph, Pride," Laden scoffed.
"I wondered what she wanted to talk to about," Laden wondered.
It was long after Dally left the class before another teacher ca into the class, but this teacher didn’t co to teach any Summoner knowledge; instead, he thought of so boring topics.
Laden, though, wasn’t focusing on that at all; his mind was preoccupied by other things he only wished for the day to end quickly.
After two more extra boring classes, the day was finally over, and Laden was the first person to instantly jump out of his seat.
"Let’s go see what she wants," he said enthusiastically.
