SSS-Rank 10x Reward System: Accepting Disciples to Live Forever Chapter 2: First Quest
The Blood Fang steward blinked as though he had misheard.
"Which year... did you just say?" he repeated, his voice trembling slightly.
Countless questions began to swirl in his mind, but before he could voice even one, Wang Chen gave him a quiet look — calm, expressionless, yet sharp enough to slice through hesitation. The steward instantly swallowed his words and answered.
"Y–Year 454 of the New Stars Calendar!"
Wang Chen fell silent. His gaze dimd, as if his eyes could see through the walls, through ti itself.
"So... it’s already been a hundred years," he murmured, his voice laced with sothing soft — nostalgia, perhaps sorrow. "Ti flies too fast."
A sigh escaped his lips. "I just hope that poor girl didn’t keep being stubborn..."
For an instant, the image of a girl blood in his mind — delicate as peach blossoms, her smile radiant enough to thaw winter frost.
For him, it felt as though he had just closed his eyes under the shade of the Bodhi Tree and woken up monts later. But a century had passed. A hundred years — a blink for immortals, yet a lifeti for mortals like him. Empires could rise and crumble in such a span.
The steward dared not disturb him. He lay motionless on the ground, hardly daring to breathe.
"Thank god, i decided to use the welco pack almost imdiately otherwise dealing with these thugs would have been a nightmare."
It had been a few minutes since he had dealt with blood fang vermin, the steward beat black and blue lay in one corner of the courtyard silently, his gaze filled with hatred never leaving wang chen figure, if gaze could kill wang chen would have died thousand tis in these few minutes.
Wang Chen however ignored the thug, his entire focus was once again on the system.
Thinking up to this point his gaze couldn’t wander back to the blue window floating in front of his eyes.

However, Wang Chen was no ordinary individual, but soone who had experienced Thirty lifetis. For him suddenly awakening a system was nothing, moreover this was not the first ti he had gotten sothing like this.
Just a few hours ago he had woken up on the Azure Dragon Continent — Imperial City of the Five Elent Dynasty.
Becoming the master of a declining martial hall, Phoenix and Dragon Dojo!
From one glance, he looked like any other small-town martial artist tending to his empty dojo.
"To think... in my thirty-first life, I’ve beco a dojo master again," he sighed softly. A wistful smile tugged at his lips. He still rembered his first life back on Earth, a little dojo near the park, full of noise and laughter. Now, across worlds and lifetis, fate had drawn a perfect, cruel circle.
He had died on Earth—and awakened here, in a realm ruled by cultivators and immortals.
He had once dread of becoming one of them—an immortal who could split mountains, pluck stars, and live forever. But the world hadn’t been kind. His first life here had begun in a tiny village where only a retired soldier knew of cultivation. Years slipped by, and on his thirty-fifth birthday, he felt a chill pierce his heart. Then, darkness.
However for so strange reason he woke once again this ti as in a body of trash noble with no talent.
A second chance? He had first thought, or maybe his cheat, only to realize sothing more chilling. It was a cycle.
From a mining town buried beneath Iron Dragon Mountain to frozen wastelands and endless deserts, Wang Chen lived—and died—again and again. Each ti, the sa ending awaited him at thirty-five. His body would fail, his vision would fade, and he would awaken in a new life, trapped in the sa curse.
By the eleventh life, a mysterious tower had appeared in his spiritual space. He thought salvation had arrived—but when thirty-five ca again, so did death.
Now, in his thirty-first life, hope was little more than an ember buried under exhaustion. Still, obsession had replaced fear.
Shaking his head to get rid of the mories, Wang Chen softly muttered.
"Status."
[Na: Wang Chen]
[Soul Refinent: 31 Layers]

The words glowed faintly, casting reflections in his eyes. Ten years left. Ten years before death ca again.
But this ti—sothing was different. New lines shimred below his lifespan.
He stared for several long seconds. Then, his lips curved faintly.
"So there’s still a way out."
Just then a chi echoed in his head.
[New quest issued, Accept your first Disciples as soon as possible.]
[Reward: Depends upon the disciple’s Qualification.]
[Accept\Reject]
Wang Chen was surprised for a mont not expecting sothing like this out of nowhere, He chuckled softly. "This quest is just icing on the cake, I was going to accept a disciple anyways.."
Then—his stomach growled, loud and violent.
He froze, eyes darting down, the sudden surge in strength caused his body to feel hungry.
A wry smile tugged at his lips. "Even after thirty-one lives, hunger’s still my greatest enemy."
"Hmm..you now lead to your place.." Wang Chen coldly spat.
Now that he had finally understood his situation it was ti to deal with these clowns.
