The person who entered the room was a young man with handsoly styled short pink hair.

His skin was fair, without any blemishes or scars.

It appeared as though he had just stepped out of a fridge, completely fresh.

He looked like soone from a Korean idol group.

Handso, but very feminine.

As he stepped closer, he appeared to be approximately 5.7 feet tall, almost close to Adonis.

"Are you my new roommate?" the young man asked calmly, standing a little closer to Adonis.

Though he appeared calm, Adonis felt as though this guy was smirking on the inside.

"Unfortunately, I am," Adonis replied. "And before you ask about my hair color, I must tell you that I am a special individual."

The pink-haired young man chuckled. "I understand. And you’re certainly not the only null who has awakened. There is another person in my class who has black hair as well. So, just chill."

Smiling slightly, he sat on the left-side bed, which had been occupied by Adonis earlier.

Not only that, he crossed his legs in a manner that showed dominance.

Before Adonis could speak, he added,

"My na is Minos Starblazer. What about you?"

Adonis frowned slightly.

"The na is Adonis Kingsbane, and that bed is mine."

He had chosen the left-side bed because it was closer to the western window. He had selected it specifically to watch the sunset from there.

But now, this new guy, his unwanted roommate to be precise, had occupied it.

Minos did not move from the bed of course. He acted as though he owned the place.

Instead, he tilted his head slightly, his sharp eyes studying Adonis more carefully now.

"Kingsbane," he repeated, as if tasting the na.

Then, unexpectedly, his expression brightened.

"Wait," he said, sitting up straighter. "Kingsbane... as in Duke Leonel Kingsbane?"

Adonis did not react much.

"Yes."

Minos let out a low whistle.

"Well, I’ll be damned," he said, a grin spreading across his face. "You’re his son?"

"Sothing like that."

Minos laughed softly,

"I knew it. There’s no way soone like you would just appear out of nowhere."

Adonis crossed his arms slightly.

"You seem quite interested in him."

Minos leaned back casually.

"Interested? That’s an understatent. I’m practically a fan."

That caught Adonis’ attention.

"A fan?"

"Yeah," Minos replied, his tone unusually genuine this ti. "I’ve seen him before. On the battlefield."

Adonis’s eyes narrowed slightly.

"You’ve been to a war front?"

Minos shrugged.

"Yep. Not as a soldier. Just... circumstances. But I saw him. Up close."

For the first ti, his posture turner serious.

"That man is a monster. I an not in a bad way. He just feels overwhelming."

Adonis said nothing, but Minos continued,

"The way he commands the battlefield, the way he moves... it’s like watching a Fire Breathing Lion. No hesitation. No wasted motion."

He added more,

"People say a lot of things about him. Politics, power, cruelty. But on the battlefield? He’s absolute."

"I see." Adonis looked away slightly.

Minos suddenly leaned forward again, his usual grin returning.

"So yeah, being roommates with his son? That’s kind of interesting."

Adonis sighed inwardly. This guy was annoying.

Still, he did not deny anything.

The conversation continued.

Minos talked a lot. About the academy. About other students.About rumors.

He spoke with confidence, as if he already knew everything.

At tis, it was irritating. At tis, useful.

Adonis listened more than he spoke. And slowly, he began to understand. Minos was not just talk. He was also observant and sharp.

And far more capable than he let on.

By the ti the sky outside turned dark, the room had grown quieter.

Minos stretched his arms lazily.

"Alright,Enough talking, mate. Let’s go eat."

Adonis raised a brow. "Where? Is there a cafeteria?"

"Not just any cafeteria," Minos corrected. "Nova Class has a separate section."

He stood up and walked toward the door.

"You coming, or are you planning to starve on your first day?"

Adonis smirked faintly. "Of course I’ll co."

---

The night air was cool as they walked through the academy grounds.

Lights illuminated the pathways.

Students moved around in small groups, their conversations low and controlled.

When they entered the cafeteria, the difference was imdiate.

The place was massive.

Rows upon rows of seating. A wide variety of food laid out across long counters.

But Minos did not stop there.

"Follow ," he said as he led on.

They walked past the general seating area. Then further in.

All of a sudden a invisible barrier shimred faintly before them, as if reacting to their presence.

Maybe so kind of protection shield, Adonis guessed.

As they stepped through, the environnt changed.

It beca quieter. More refined.

The Nova Class section.

Here, the crowd was smaller.

But the atmosphere was tense.

Each student present carried a distinct presence.

So sat alone. So in small groups.

But all of them felt different than other ordinary students. They seem stronger and more composed.

Adonis’s eyes scanned the room.

"So these are the so-called elites."

Minos grabbed a tray casually.

"Pick whatever you want, Mate. It’s all covered by the academy."

Adonis followed.

The food was far beyond ordinary.

Everything was made of high-quality ingredients. Even traces of Ether infused within certain dishes.

While looking the the nu, they took their seats.

Not too close to others. Not too far either.

As Adonis sat down, he could feel it.

Several Eyes were Watching him.

They were Curious. They were Evaluating. They were Judging.

Minos noticed it too.

"Get used to it," he said casually while eating. "Nova Class doesn’t like unknown variables."

Adonis picked up his utensils calmly.

"They’ll have to get used to ," he replied.

Minos smirked,

"Or you’ll crush them until they have no choice."

Adonis did not respond. But his smile said enough.

Across the hall, a few students whispered among themselves.

"We have a new one?"

"Black hair..."

"Another anomaly?"

The ga had already begun.

Tonight, Adonis Kingsbane had just made his first appearance among the monsters.

Tommorow, they will learn what kind of person he was.
