Now reading: Chapter 100: [100] : The Ghost Assassin from SSS Rank: Infinite Enhancement, I Can Upgrade Everything to God Tier!, a Game novel by KnightPlot.

The sky above Sector 7 was a massive canopy of dark eclipsing shadows.

Declan floated perfectly still in the air.

He did not need to flap his arms or cast a levitation spell.

His Abyssal Sovereign stats were so completely broken that he just ignored gravity itself!

He looked down at the empty air where the Level 90 alien player used to be.

The Saint of Embers was gone. Deleted!

Turned into gray ash that blew away in the toxic wind.

Declan had just consud the Divine Spark.

He forced his physical real-world body to accept the massive data overwrite.

The pain had been blinding but it was over now. He felt completely untouchable.

Then the ga engine finally caught up to the math.

[Processing Experience Points...]

[Experience Points Gained: 50,000,000]

Fifty million experience points!

It was an absolutely absurd number. Normal players in Sector 4 were currently stabbing each other in the mud for a hundred experience points.

A top-tier guild might farm ten thousand points in a week if they did not sleep at all.

Declan just gained fifty million in three seconds.

The system chis started ringing inside his head.

Declan let out a long heavy breath.

A cloud of freezing white mist plud from his lips as he pulled up his system interface.

[Biological State]

↳ Level: 70

↳ Class: Abyssal Sovereign (Ascendant Tier)

[System Resources]

↳ Stat Points Available: 500

Five hundred raw stat points!

Most players ticulously planned out their builds.

They spent hours deciding if they needed two points in Vitality to survive a boss hit or three points in Intelligence to cast a spell faster.

Declan did not care about balance.

He had the mutated Sanguine Engine sitting in his chest.

His heart instantly converted fifty percent of any damage he dealt into true healing and a massive blood shield.

He did not need Vitality. He did not need Defense. He was already a walking fortress.

He just needed to hit things and he needed to hit them first.

"System," Declan commanded in his mind. "Dump two hundred and fifty points into Agility. Dump the other two hundred and fifty into Strength."

He tapped the confirm button.

His body did not glow this ti. It just physically snapped.

Declan grunted as his muscles instantly condensed.

They did not get bigger. They just grew so incredibly dense that the air around his skin actually warped.

His real-world synchronization rate was sitting at eighty percent.

His physical body in the dive pod back on Earth was mirroring the exact sa changes.

He cracked his knuckles.

It sounded like thick steel cables snapping in half!

He was a Level 70 Ascendant-tier glitch. He was ready to hunt.

He looked down at the sprawling black iron gacity below him.

The Iron Bastion was completely safe under its massive red energy do.

But the world outside was still a ss. The gacorps were still out there.

"Legion," Declan said out loud.

Down in the massive stone courtyard of the Iron Bastion the shadows physically rebelled.

The dark ink-like pools stretched out from the corners of the buildings and the base of the massive forge.

One hundred figures made entirely of swirling pitch-black dark matter rose from the ground.

They wore the exact sa long trench coat as Declan.

They held the exact sa heavy shadowy halberds.

Their purple eyes glowed with pure unadulterated violence.

"Spread out," Declan’s voice bood telepathically to his summons. "Sweep the surrounding sectors. Farm every monster you find. Bring the loot back. If you find a corporate military outpost dismantle it. Leave nothing but scrap tal."

The one hundred Eclipse Clones did not salute. They did not shout a battle cry.

They just turned into blurs of black static.

They used Void Blink simultaneously instantly bypassing the city walls and vanishing into the ruined wastelands.

Declan smirked.

He had a literal army of immortal clones doing his chores.

While he watched his system map populate with tiny green dots spreading out like a virus soone else was watching him.

A mile away from the Iron Bastion hidden perfectly in the ruins of a collapsed skyscraper a woman was lying flat on her stomach.

Her na was Morgan.

She was a top-tier corporate assassin hired by a panicked coalition of gacorps.

She did not wear bulky iron armor.

She wore a sleek skin-tight tactical suit that completely absorbed light.

A blue system icon hovered faintly over her shoulder.

[Skill Active: Void-Cloak. User is completely undetectable by optical, thermal, and magical radar.]

Morgan stared through the heavy scope of a massive heavily modified sniper rifle.

The crosshairs were locked dead center on the back of Declan’s head.

She had been tracking him for two days.

She watched him kill the alien. She watched him upgrade his city.

She knew he was a hacker. She knew his stats were mathematically impossible.

But Morgan was a professional.

She did not use regular bullets.

She had loaded a highly classified experintal round forged from pure deletion code.

It was designed to completely ignore hit boxes and instantly crash a player’s neural link.

"You’re just a guy in a coat," Morgan whispered to herself.

She steadied her breathing. She slowed her heart rate.

She pulled the trigger.

The heavy sniper rifle did not bang. It emitted a sharp high-pitched hiss.

The armor-piercing conceptual round tore through the air at supersonic speed.

It crossed the one-mile distance in less than two seconds.

It was a perfect flawless shot aid exactly at the base of Declan’s skull.

But Declan had a permanent Abyssal Sovereign aura.

The mont the bullet entered the fifty-ter radius around Declan’s body the physics engine broke.

The massive five-hundred-tis gravity field generated by his sheer existence slamd into the projectile.

The bullet’s kinetic energy was instantly crushed to zero.

The heavy tal stopped dead in mid-air.

Then the conceptual degradation took over.

The advanced deletion code on the bullet rapidly rotted away.

The sleek silver tal turned into rusty crumbling digital trash in a fraction of a millisecond.

The ruined piece of scrap tal lazily fell out of the air.

It bounced harmlessly off the back of Declan’s pitch-black Predator’s Coat and dropped down toward the city below.

Declan did not even flinch. He did not take a single point of damage.

He just slowly turned his head.

A mile away Morgan’s eyes went wide with pure terror.

She looked through her high-powered scope.

The guy in the black coat was looking directly at her!

His pitch-black eyes filled with swirling golden galaxies completely pierced her Void-Cloak skill.

He saw right through the stealth magic like it did not even exist.

He smiled.

Morgan’s face turned pale and she looked like a ghost at this ti.

She did not hesitate. She did not try to rack another round.

She dropped the heavy sniper rifle on the concrete floor.

She pulled a glowing heavily glitched scroll out of her inventory.

It was an unstable corrupted teleportation scroll.

It was highly dangerous to use but she was not going to stick around to fight a guy who could flex his aura and break her bullets.

She ripped the scroll in half.

A chaotic burst of gray light swallowed her.

She vanished from the ruined skyscraper instantly.

Declan floated in the sky. He crossed his arms.

"She dropped high-tier corporate gear," Declan muttered.

He saw the data drives clipped to her tactical belt before she ran.

He viewed her as nothing but a walking loot drop.

He did not care that she teleported away.

Unstable scrolls always left a massive trail of residual spatial data.

With his Level 70 Intelligence stat reading the code was like following a bright neon sign in the dark.

He locked onto her exit coordinates.

It pointed straight toward a newly rged hazard zone to the east.

"Void Blink," Declan thought.

The world went pitch black.

He vanished from the sky chasing the ghost assassin directly into the nightmare zone.
