Liora’s lips trembled as she looked at the outrageous sight in front of her. The background noises of violent clashes with the monster had faded from her mind. The battlefield roared with thunder and steel, yet to Liora it all vanished, smothered under the obscene clarity of what she was witnessing. There was only one thought that completely shocked her.

T-They... are k-kissing...

A-Ah! So... b-bad...

It shattered her worldview entirely—kissing each other in public so shalessly felt utterly wrong to her.

Weren’t people supposed to have public decorum?

These things were ant to be done in private, behind closed doors—that’s what she knew, that’s how it was supposed to be.

The wet sound of their lips tasting each other was painfully clear to her. Even if she didn’t want to see it, she couldn’t help herself. Not because she wanted to, but because she couldn’t imagine such a sight—it was too unreal.

Liora was shaken.

The society, the rules, the regulations of their world—it felt like none of it existed for those two. Liora still believed what they were doing so openly wasn’t right.

Yet there was a small part of her that found it beautiful.

Even while blushing the entire ti, she couldn’t take her eyes off them for the duration of the kiss.

anwhile, Andrew was fuming, watching his daughter witness such a display. He had always taken the best care of her, and now she was getting corrupted right before his eyes. He was livid. His fists clenched so tightly his knuckles cracked, the veins in his forehead pulsing as though ready to burst.

The boy is strong and capable... I was considering giving him a chance with my daughter if he behaved well... but now? Not anymore. He’s a corrupted beast who will poison my lovely daughter...

He swore to himself that he would make sure the boy’s devious plans failed. He would protect her no matter what.

From what he’d seen so far, he was sure his daughter hadn’t yet fallen into the boy’s trap.

Shaless boy! You will never succeed... I’ll make sure of it!

While this wasn’t the first ti Loriel had seen the two kiss so shalessly, this ti was different.

A grand-scale war was happening inside Loriel’s mind—the Saintess of Life.

Many plans were rapidly forming.

This shaless purple-haired woman! Hmph! She’s corrupting the Holy Son... Soon I will change everything. Every second their lips lingered was like a dagger to her chest, each heartbeat screaming that she was losing him before she even had the Holy Son.

But for that to happen, she needed to get closer to the Holy Son and let him know just how terrible that woman was—tainting his image. She would make him realize who he truly was and guide him to the right path.

As the 37th Saintess of the Church of Life, it was her duty to fix this disgrace and lead him properly—and she would do everything in her power.

Nothing mattered more to her than him.

He was the one who cleared all her self-doubt and made her proud again. She would help him no matter what.

Detailed plans were already forming in the Saintess’s mind to solve this enormous issue.

Both their lips, the sweetness and warmth of each other, still lingered on them. Leon was eager to do much more, but it was a pity he couldn’t—not now.

Seeing the love in her athyst eyes, he knew she wanted more, too, but was holding herself back.

Taking a small breath, Leon’s voice whispered into her ear.

"My love, you should move a bit farther from . I’m going to finish the monster now," he said confidently, without the slightest hesitation in his tone.

Seraphine, without questioning him, nodded sweetly and jumped onto the rooftop beside him.

She didn’t ask anything, fully trusting that he was saying it for her safety.

Leon then looked at the other three people on the roof—the one claiming to be the Saintess of Life, Liora, and her father—and addressed them all at once.

"You guys should also follow Seraphine."

Despite Andrew’s disagreent and silent rejection of the boy, he followed the commander of the west along with his daughter. If she hadn’t been right next to him, he wouldn’t have left.

He felt the boy was far too arrogant, claiming he could finish the terrifying monster in a single move—especially one that his wife and a woman from a higher domain were struggling to defeat together. And now, showing off in front of his daughter?

Telling him to step back, as if he’d be hurt just from the shockwave of the boy’s attack? If his daughter weren’t beside him, he’d have stayed there on purpose—to see the boy fail.

And he’d enjoy the look on his face when it happened.

While Seraphine, Liora, and Andrew had left, Loriel remained where she was. Not only that, she even stepped closer to Leon, her gaze mockingly glancing toward Seraphine.

Seraphine noticed this and had the urge to test her level-two aura on this green-haired bitch who was clearly trying to provoke her.

But she held back—because she knew her mont was coming. While the two blonde won ahead clearly seed far stronger than her, this green-haired, so-called Saintess of Life, not so much.

She didn’t give off that overwhelming sense of power. Seraphine believed she could take her. It might be tough, but she could definitely hold her own.

Knowing that made the upcoming mont even more satisfying.

Instead of wearing a confident look or smirking, Seraphine deliberately faked a displeased expression—as if she didn’t like what Loriel did.

Loriel, seeing that, felt a tingling in her stomach. She felt elated.

Leon noticed she didn’t leave, but didn’t bother convincing her. If she were still here, she must have so way of protecting herself. Otherwise, why would she be standing even closer to him after his clear warning?

Without any worry, he continued preparing his attack.

But then a voice stopped him for a second—a warm, low voice that seed to calm the mind.

"Leon, if you use your Life elent and integrate it into your attack, it will work better on the monster. Elents like Life and Light, which have purification effects, are much more effective on Abyssal spawns." She paused, then continued. "While Life elent might not have as strong purification properties as Light, it’s still better than other normal elents."

Leon turned his head slightly toward Loriel, his expression softening for a mont as he processed her advice.

"Thank you for the advice, Loriel. That actually makes a lot of sense."

He paused, considering her words about the purification properties. The knowledge seed valuable, especially coming from soone who claid to be a saintess of life.

"I appreciate you sharing that with . It could make all the difference in this fight," he rembered how his previous normal elent attack had so little effect despite its power.

There was genuine gratitude in his voice, though he kept his focus on the monster ahead. He began to channel his mana, now incorporating Loriel’s suggestion about integrating the life elent into his attack.

Loriel felt a warm flutter in her chest at the sound of his voice, hearing him use her na and acknowledge her help. This was precisely the kind of mont she had been hoping for—a chance to be useful to him, to show her worth.

"Of course, Leon. I’m here to help you in any way I can."

She moved slightly closer, her green eyes watching him with keen interest as he prepared his enhanced attack, feeling satisfied that she had contributed sothing aningful to the battle.

Leon began channeling his mana, drawing massive amounts of power from his reserves. He could feel the energy flowing through his body like a raging torrent.

Ice crystals began to form in the air above his outstretched hand, but this ti he didn’t just let them take shape naturally. He condensed them with trendous force, compressing the ice until it beca incredibly dense and solid. The spear that materialized was no ordinary weapon—it was a concentrated mass of frozen energy that glead with an almost tallic sheen.

Then he poured even more mana into it, weaving lightning elent around the condensed ice. The electricity didn’t just crackle—it buzzed and roared as he compressed it too, forcing the lightning to wrap tighter and tighter around the spear’s surface. Sparks flew wildly as the condensed lightning struggled against its constraints.

Leon could feel his mana reserves depleting rapidly as he continued to pour more power into the weapon. Sweat beaded on his forehead from the effort of maintaining such intense compression of both elents.

But this ti, Leon did sothing different. For the first ti, he carefully integrated his life elent into the mix, using even more mana to weave it through the already condensed ice and lightning.

The mont the life elent rged with the other two, the spear underwent a complete transformation. The weapon pulsed with an otherworldly energy that felt both destructive and purifying.

Leon’s breathing grew heavier as he maintained the incredible amount of mana flowing into the attack.

This ti, he was going to finish it in one go.

Leon’s eyes widened slightly as he felt the difference. This was entirely new to him. The life elent didn’t just add power to the attack; it transford it completely. The weapon felt more complete, more purposeful, as if it had gained a consciousness of its own.

The spear thrumd with energy that was both destructive and purifying. Leon could sense that this combination would be devastating against the abyssal spawn, just as Loriel had suggested.

"This feels... different," he murmured, marveling at the unique sensation of wielding all three elents in perfect harmony. The monster’s hundred eyes all turned toward the spear at once, a collective scream tearing from its body as if it knew death was coming.
