The colossal monster was falling, and Leon knew this was his best chance—possibly his only chance.

His mana was running dangerously low. Using black hole twice in rapid succession, combined with maintaining his current enhanced state and deploying so many skills and techniques simultaneously, had drained his reserves dramatically. The black hole technique alone consud mana at a catastrophic rate, burning through energy faster than any other ability he possessed.

I might only be able to do this one more ti. Just once.

He could drink a mana potion and recover instantly—he had several stored in his spatial inventory. But that wasn’t an option right now. Every fraction of a second counted. The window of opportunity was closing rapidly as the giant’s massive body tilted and began its inevitable descent.

No ti to waste. Move!

With full speed, using everything he could and pushing himself beyond any reasonable limit, Leon calculated exactly where the center of the falling giant would impact the ground. His enhanced mind processed trajectory, velocity, mass distribution, and timing in milliseconds.

He arrived there in an instant, positioning himself perfectly for the final attack.

But this ti, the monster’s counterattack was like nothing he’d faced before.

WHOOOOSH! CRACK! WHIIIIIP!

Hundreds—no, thousands—of spears erupted from the giant’s body as it fell. The creature was using its own mass as ammunition, tearing pieces from itself and launching them with devastating force. The attack intensity was unprecedented, a desperate final gambit from sothing that knew it was about to die.

Every defensive move Leon made required a strong sword attack just to survive. He was barely able to defend himself while simultaneously focusing on creating the last black hole, trying to split his attention between offense and the delicate spatial manipulation required for his finishing technique.

CLANG! CRASH! BOOOOM!

Large chunks of compressed earth flew at him—massive projectiles moving at breaking speeds. The sheer number ant his sword slashes alone couldn’t destroy them all. He had to use everything in his arsenal.

"Frost Shard!" Ice projectiles launched from his free hand, intercepting several incoming spears.

CRACK! SHATTER!

"Thunderstrike Volley!" Purple lightning bolts erupted in rapid succession, obliterating a cluster of earth chunks.

ZZZZAP! BOOM! BOOM!

"Fla Wave!" A wall of fire swept outward, vaporizing smaller debris.

FWOOOOSH! SSSSSSS!

"Lightning Chain!" Arcing electricity jumped between multiple targets, destroying them in sequence.

CRACKLE! ZAP! ZAP! ZAP!

Every skill he possessed was deployed without reservation. His mana continued plumting, but survival demanded everything he had.

A small human facing thousands of high-speed, destructive spears. This is insane.

"Ahhhhh!"

A massive piece of magically enhanced earth slamd into his side despite his best efforts. WHAAAAM! The impact was devastating—bones shook, ribs bent inward, organs compressed.

Pain exploded through his body like lightning striking flesh. His nerves lit up like firecrackers, each one sending jolts of agony through him. Zzzzap! Crackle!

But he never moved from his position, spatial freeze locking his footing in position. The location and timing were absolutely critical for his black hole to achieve maximum destruction. Even one ter off could an the difference between killing the core and rely wounding it again.

His clothes disintegrated under the relentless barrage—they were just normal fabric, never designed to withstand combat of this intensity. Rrrriiip! Shreds of material fell away, leaving him practically exposed.

His body was covered in blood. Deep gashes ran across his chest, arms, and legs. His natural regeneration was working frantically, tissue knitting together in real-ti, but it couldn’t keep up with the volu of incoming damage.

Sssshhhrrrp... crackle... hisssss...

The taste of copper filled his mouth, hot and tallic, as blood welled up on his tongue from internal injuries.

He deliberately didn’t use his life elent healing abilities. Mana was already critically scarce—every point had to be reserved for the black hole. Nothing else mattered.

He’d managed to escape the direct path of the giant’s fall, positioning himself just to the side so he wouldn’t be crushed by two kiloters of animated earth. But the shockwave, the debris, the relentless attacks—all of it was taking its toll.

Painful. So fucking painful. But endure it. Just endure!

Practically naked, covered in blood from dozens of wounds, pain screaming through every nerve—he endured until the spatial pressure reached the required threshold.

The giant’s body was almost upon him now, its massive shadow blocking out the sky completely. Thooooom...

Now! It has to be now!

With a final scream that combined endurance, willpower, and pure desperation, Leon slashed forward with every ounce of strength remaining in his battered body.

"HAAAAAAAAH!"

But the attack was blocked by a final barrier of compressed earth that materialized at the last instant—the monster’s ultimate defense.

CRRRRUNCH!

No! I’m too close to fail now!

Despite the danger of being crushed, despite knowing he might not survive this, Leon charged forward. Without the proper distance for a sword slash, he simply punched the spatial point with his bare fist.

CRAAAAAAACK!

Reality fractured.

But the cost was imdiate and horrific.

A massive spike impaled him directly through the torso—a counterattack the monster had hidden specifically for this mont. The stone spike punched through his abdon, erupting from his back in a shower of blood and torn flesh.

SQUELCH! CRACK!

Blood sprayed everywhere. Splaaat! Chunks of his own flesh scattered across the ground.

But he’d succeeded.

The black hole ford.

Nearly sucked in by the gravitational pull himself, Leon felt the horrible tug trying to consu him along with everything else. The void didn’t discriminate—it would devour the caster just as easily as the target if given the chance.

The sphere asured four ters in diater—even bigger than the previous two, the largest black hole he’d ever successfully created.

WHUUUUUUUUMMMMM!

His heart was beating like a war drum, each pulse sending fresh waves of blood pumping from his terrible wound. Thump-thump-thump! He’d co within a hair’s breadth of death—closer than any previous battle.

Move! Teleport! NOW!

He activated his spatial teleportation with pure instinct, his conscious mind barely functional through the pain and blood loss.

Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh!

Six consecutive jumps, each one covering a hundred ters. He used far more than necessary, operating on pure survival panic rather than tactical calculation.

His mana was completely spent now—utterly empty, every last drop consud by that final massive black hole and the desperate escape.

He materialized on the ground roughly a kiloter away from the impact zone, his body collapsing imdiately. His legs simply gave out, muscles no longer responding to his commands.

THUD!

Grunting in agony, Leon looked down at himself. He could see bone through the massive hole in his torso. The white of his ribs was visible through torn muscle and shredded skin. Blood was running out of him at an alarming rate. Drip... drip... drip...

The scent of iron was thick in the air, sharp and nauseating, a tallic fog clinging to his nostrils.

His regeneration was still working—he could feel the tissue trying to knit back together, cells multiplying and reforming structure—but it wouldn’t be enough. Not for a wound this severe. Not with his mana completely depleted and his body already pushed far beyond its limits.

Potion. Need... mana potion.

Without a second thought, operating purely on instinct and the desperate will to survive, Leon pulled a mana potion from his spatial inventory. The glass vial appeared in his trembling, blood-slicked hand.

Clink!

He brought it to his lips and gulped it down in three massive swallows, barely tasting the sweet liquid as it poured down his throat.

Gulp... gulp... gulp!

GLOW!

The effect was imdiate and dramatic. A bright green hue burned along his entire body, spreading from his core outward like wildfire. The life-infused mana flooded through his system, and he imdiately channeled it all into healing.

His wound began closing in real-ti—visible regeneration that would have seed impossible to any observer. Flesh grew across the gaping hole. Organs reconstructed themselves. Bones sealed their cracks. Blood vessels reconnected and stopped the hemorrhaging.

Ssssshhhrrrp... crackle... whoooosh...

But even as he focused on healing himself, his eyes remained locked on the battlefield.

The giant’s entire chest was being consud by the black hole—the massive four-ter void was devouring it from the inside out. Tons of corrupted earth, stone, and twisted wood flowed into the spatial anomaly like water circling a drain.

WHUUUUUUUMMM! GRRRROOOOON!

Yet the monster wasn’t completely idle even in its death throes. Attacks were still launching from its disintegrating body—high-speed, sharp projectiles flying in every direction like shrapnel from an explosion.

WHOOSH! CRACK! WHIIIP!

Several headed directly toward Leon’s position.

But he could handle them just fine now. Despite his injuries, despite his exhaustion, his sword arm still functioned. His epic-ranked blade flashed out in precise defensive patterns, batting aside the incoming debris with minimal effort compared to the earlier onslaught.

CLANG! CRACK! CLANG!

His sharp eyes remained locked on the giant as the black hole continued its work of total annihilation.

This would surely be enough. He’d given everything he had—pushed himself to the absolute brink of death and beyond.

It has to be over now.
