Chapter 63: Secrets no more

Seraphine decided to ask him directly instead of overthinking when he had planned to tell her this.

"Leon, storing things and taking them out of thin air—is that an ability of your class?"

She knew he had three different affinities, including space affinity, so his class might have abilities related to space. But it still didn’t make sense, as you were only supposed to get a class after completing the dungeon.

She rembered how she had to carry a large bag full of cores when she had first entered, so her earlier guess turned out to be invalid.

It didn’t make sense to her now. Only he could answer her, and she now thought she had underestimated the secret her disciple held.

Leon didn’t know how to explain it easily, so he told her in the way that seed most appropriate to him.

"Master, it was a gift from a god."

Seraphine was shocked to her core. His words seed too grand, and claiming it was a gift from a god felt surreal, yet his voice carried confidence, making it feel like he was fully certain, leaving no room for doubt.

She wasn’t unfamiliar with the term "god." There was a Church of the Goddess of Life and the Goddess of Light in almost every kingdom. They were said to be too powerful; no kingdom ever dared ss with them, as their roots extended even into the middle domain.

According to their beliefs, gods were said to be existences comparable to none—supre beings ant to be worshipped by everyone. They could do anything; their power had no bounds.

She didn’t believe in such things as gods, but there were powerful organizations revolving around their existence. There had to be sothing to them to make it so.

"Leon, how are you so sure a god gave you this gift? I’ve read about sothing called bloodlines in ancient books. So special people have them. They are said to grant special abilities and even enhance elental affinity. It could be that you have so bloodline you just don’t know about."

"I don’t mind if you believe in any god, but calling your ability a gift from one seems a bit too far-fetched as an explanation."

Leon released a deep sigh. He had expected sothing like this, but he was patient. He didn’t want their relationship to be burned by this secret. He trusted her fully. He would share everything with her.

He couldn’t even imagine her betraying him for a second. She might do strange things sotis and seem crazy too, but she could never harm him. So he believed. If his choice had consequences, he would bear them.

He wouldn’t let his cautious behavior ruin their relationship—the first ti he felt truly loved and began to care about soone else, too.

Bringing his seat closer to her, he looked directly into her eyes, his tone more serious than ever.

"Master, I’m going to share everything about with you, but be careful. If these things spread to others, I might really die because of it."

Just the existence of one of his treasures might start a kingdom-wide hunt for him. He was strong and confident in his abilities, but if an army ca after him, he didn’t think he would survive.

Hearing what he had said made Seraphine’s expression harden. She was more serious than ever. She didn’t know what secrets he held, but if they could put his life at risk, she would never take them as a joke.

Leon started with the planet called Earth and how it had no magic. That was where he had previously lived as a boy. It was a bit hard to believe for Seraphine, but she completely trusted him and believed what he said was true.

Then he told her how he died at the age of sixteen due to the misfire of a powerful entity he didn’t understand. But calling it a god wasn’t too far-fetched, given how vast the entity appeared to him.

He ntioned he earned seven treasures from the entity as a gift and was later reborn in this world where she lived. The storage was just connected to his soul. He didn’t know how, but it was created by the sa entity to store his treasures, and he found out he could store his own items in it, too.

Seraphine being shocked would be an understatent. Her mouth opened and closed a few tis in disbelief after hearing what the treasure could do. She even felt like she shouldn’t be listening to this.

Hearing about the entity made her feel like a speck of dust. A being that could roam galaxies as if taking a walk, offering divine gifts like nothing, which could cause wars.

Even the most powerful and even the hermits would leave seclusion if they ever heard of such a thing. And all of this was destined for her, Leon. She knew he was special from the start—

—but she hadn’t known it was to a degree she couldn’t even fathom.

He ntioned how for seven years, he wasn’t aware of his mories of these things due to a condition. Born an orphan in the slums, he could have died early on, but he survived and t her only a few days after recovering his mories.

This explained everything to Seraphine now—why he seed to have trained with a dagger for years. Even though he did train in his treasure for months, he clearly had natural talent, yet it still didn’t explain how he killed a level two goblin soldier with such a weak body of a seven-year-old without mana.

Normal people fighting for the first ti would be too scared to even face such a monster.

And how, despite being only seven years old, he acted so cleverly with her. She didn’t think any normal sixteen-year-old could pull off a negotiation with a commander such as herself.

She praised him once again in her mind.

’My Leon is definitely special, with or without the treasures he has.’
