" Wait, who are they." Esralda suddenly snapped out of her when she noticed that the adventurers weren’t the only ones here as well, seated at the campfire were 5 people and not to far from them seed to be a number of carts being guarded by so undead.
Esralda had been so unfocused throughout the ride that she hadn’t noticed that an entire caravan had actually t up with the mbers of the escort group.

" Hahaha it’s nothing sir, it was just a misunderstanding, I’m sure it could’ve happened to anyone." Rugard did the talking while Su Ping was silently seating next to his wife.
The other adventurers were busy preparing so at over the fire.
" Mom can we eat now." Sal who sat next to his mother, turned to glance at her.
" No dear, The at isn’t properly done yet." linda patted Sal’s hair, while smiling at the little one.
" The at looks so yummy." l eyed the at on the fire like a cute little cub who couldn’t wait to grab a bite to eat.
" Daddy~" Su Ping grabbed l in his hand’s the instant his cheeky daughter almost pounced on the al.
After both their groups were forced to settle down together, Su Ping suggested to Rugard who invited the adventurers to join them for a mile.
The old man had resisted at first but under Rugards persuasion and l and Sal’s pleading when they heard they would actually get to eat at, the old man gave in but under the condition that they would be the one to prepare the al.
" Mister, what’s the aning of this." The friendly atmosphere was suddenly interrupted by Esralda’s unhappy voice.

" How could I when the carriage kept shaking because of how rough you all were." Esralda snapped at the old man.

" Are you trying to say it’s now my fault." The captains face tightened when he saw Esralda’s expression turning displeased.

The old man hurried to speak, the last thing he wanted was this young woman to give them an earful again, who knows if she might even complain to her father about this. The old man wasn’t afraid of them not getting the paynt, that part was already assured so long as they got her ho in one piece, what he was worried about was being targeted by her father personally.
Lord Montgory was a very influencial noble, not even normal noble houses would be willing to attract his displeasure not to ntion commoners like them. Even if they were Lvl 3 adventurers, what good would their strength do against soone with that many connections.

She said while glancing coldly at Su Ping, linda, the kids and Rugard. Her gaze lingered a bit on Sal and l but her face creased when linda unconsciously pulled her children closer, away from her unfriendly gaze.
A tall figure blocked Esralda’s vision before she could take a step closer. " I’m sorry miss but my brother here is rather protective of my niece and nephew. For your sake I’d suggest you don’t try anything else." Rugard chuckled before taking a sip from the cup of beer the old man had offered him earlier.
" Are you giving an order?" Esralda’s voice sounded unhappy and annoyed.
" Young miss I’m sure he didn’t an it that way." The old man tried quelling the growing tension.
" Do i look dead to you Mister, so this is the type of people you keep company. Disrespectful commoners who dare to insult a noble like ."
" Miss i don’t rember ever insulting you. If anything I only gave you a piece of advice, if anyone here is disrespectful here is you." Rugard suddenly stop up, looking rather annoyed.
" Sir, I understand that she’s a nobleman’s daughter but you can’t let her treat you like this." Rugard walked over but stopped in surprise when he sensed an overwhelming magical power begin to surge from the beautiful young woman Infront of him.
" Young miss please try to control your temper." The old adventurer beca distressed. If the young miss threw a tantrum now with her strength not only would it lead to more problems but innocent people could get hurt. The captain thought to himself while stealing a glance at l and Sal who were instantly frightened, seeking shelter behind their mother.
" A commoner is calling disrespectful, , disrespectful?! how dare you call a proper lady disrespectful." Esralda snapped, she had never been so insulted in her life.
Rugard had only called her out yet she couldn’t take it lying down, after all, she had graduated from the most prestigious magical Academy in the kingdom, she was also the daughter of the Montgory family’s patriarch, a Lvl 3 elite unit at the rare age of eighteen. What right did so backwater necromancer have to reprimand her.
" That’s enough..." Su Ping suddenly grabbed a hold of Esralda’s wrist.
" You!" Esralda’s body trembled in anger, not only had she been reprimanded but to think a er commoners dared to touch her as well.
" Are you commoners wishing for death these days! Let go off my hand." Esralda pulled her hand but was stunned when the other party’s hand remained firm without budging, not only that but she felt her magical power rapidly draining from her body.
