Chapter 29: Ti to get even stronger.
He called over a Cow demoness and inquired about their whereabouts.
The Cow demoness explained to him that the four of them had entered seclusion on account of the challenge he had given prior.
" So that’s how it is, I was planning on having them join to recruit more help." Su Ping felt like with more help, construction speeds would increase exponentially but since the 4 of them were busy trying to get stronger, he couldn’t bla them.
" Master if it’s ok with you, I’d like to take on this task. Better yet, leave this deaning mission to ." With her hands clasped behind her back, her chest stretched out and hips swaying. Zhen Qi expressed her desire to help.
" You? Are you sure you can do it on your own." Recalling how she had told him about her gloomy capture, Su Ping felt a little doubtful.
Zhen Qi forced an awkward smile as if capable of reading his thoughts.
" Please entrust with this task master. My charm magic should be a great fit for it, I promise I won’t fail."
Zhen Qi said resolutely. This was her chance to prove herself and gain herself so footing in this faction.
Fortunately for her, Whoever Ming Yao, Ning An, Yang Lan and Yi Heng where, they weren’t available at the mont, aning she had no one to hinder her.
’So long as I can get master’s constant approval, It won’t be long before I’ll be able to seduce him.’
’ If I can beco his favorite female, then I won’t have to worry about being thrown out to fend for myself, anymore.’ Zhen Qi felt certain of her plan.
Su Ping was a bit skeptical but giving her words so thought, he realized it made sense. Su Ping didn’t know of it was possible but he believed that the system would allow him to recruit others through his subordinates, after all, a king couldn’t continue to go around himself, asking people to join him, now could he?
Su Ping waved his hand and an erald green pill with a star inscription on it, erged in his grasp.
The instant she saw the pill, Zhen Qi felt a strong pull from her body as if the pill had caused it to react on its own, even her heart rate and blood pressure increased.
" Master, what is that." Zhen Qi asked hurriedly, as if she couldn’t wait to devour such a thing.
Su Ping was glad to see her reaction, it affird his thoughts that the evolution pills could still be useful.
" This will be your reward if you manage to gather enough troupes to make satisfied." Su Ping said before putting away the pill.
Zhen Qi cald down with the dismissal of the pill, nevertheless, her eyes were still burning with determination and longing.
" Leave it to Master, I’ll be sure to gather enough demons before my return."
" Good... If your results are exceptional, I might even throw in a bonus pay." Su Ping added to increase her desire to work. The more eager to work she was, the more he himself, would profit from the endeavor, and what was more pleasing to the eye of a boss than an employee willing to work without question.
" B..bonus?" Zhen Qi stuttered, her throat dry from such a notion. Feeling opportunistic, she stared at Su Ping with a strange fire in her eyes.
" Master, Is it ok if I ask that the bonus be in the form of a request?" She asked, her breathing regard. Even a trace of droll and a strange infatuated smile could be seen on her face.
’ What’s wrong with her all of a sudden, could the evolution pill really be that precious to her.’ Su Ping almost stepped back due to feeling creeped out. But to maintain his image as an unfazed ruler, he stood still like a mountain.
" So long as your request remains within my power, I won’t deny it." He said after so considerations. If she was really able to recruit that much demons for him then he didn’t mind giving her an extra evolution pill or two.
Zhen Qi’s body trembled after hearing his approval, a strange giggle leaving her lips as the fire within her eyes burned even brighter.
’ Master actually agreed. You better keep your promise master, because I’m no longer able to help myself.’
’ I want to taste master... I have to.’ Zhen Qi’s smile grew strange before her wings spread open then she flew into the sky with one strong flapping motion.
" I’ll be back shortly master!" She scread before flying off at a speed Su Ping found incredible.
’ She really is a Lvl 2.’ Su Ping found himself saying. If not that she had fallen to the Pig demon because of such a costly mistake, with her powers, she would definitely be a strong opponent if Su Ping and her had clashed later on.
Now that he was alone again, Su Ping stared at the grazing Cow demoness’s in the ranches field and the imp demons that were hard at work before letting out a sigh and heading out once more.
Since everyone was busy, he might as well take the ti to finally reach adult drake stage.
Sowhere within the Abyss, 6 little black wolf like little pups were busy playing with each other, practicing their little skills. The runt of the litter was the first to be defeated.
Watching over them was an adult black wolf like demon with crimson eyes. The Wolf like demon was left behind to guard the cubs while the remaining demons went out to hunt for food. Their pack had been wandering through the abyss for awhile, looking for amble regions with easy prey to hunt.
In the Abyss it was a dog eat dog world, those who were weak, could only be devoured by the strong.
The adult demons ears suddenly perked up, it’s body turning alert as it stood up.
The cubs sensed the demons change in disposition and stopped fighting, instead huddling up next to it.
