Aren watched as the light died, expecting to see so large guardian spirit that would beco his, but what he saw there shocked him.
Floating in the air before him was a white cat, yup, a very cute white cat with a purple line going down the center of its head all the way to the end of its tail.
It had purple eyes and floated in the air without wings. It stared directly at Aren, who stood there confused and not sure what to do right now.
"What the hell?" he asked in shock.
"Hello," the cat spoke in a tiny feminine voice, which shocked Aren even more.
"It can talk," he blurted out.
"Of course I can talk. I’m a guardian spirit, extrely powerful, you know, right?" it said, then floated around him as if checking him out.
"So you are the one that summoned . Not too bad," it said, then flew to the front of him.
"The hell do you an not too bad? If anyone should be worried here, it should be . I got so sort of cat for my guardian spirit.
Tch, I guess all rewards can’t be winners," Aren said.
"Huhhhhhhh?" The cat’s face twisted into so sort of gangster-looking expression, with one corner of its mouth lifted up and one eye raised.
"How dare you look down at ? I am a freaking guardian spirit of illusion and reality, well mostly illusion," it said.
"Illusion and reality? I see, just like the powers of Loki," Aren said.
"You know Loki?" it asked imdiately, eyes shining, and it ca closer to Aren, looking him right in the eye.
Aren used one hand to push her backward.
"I do not know Loki, I just know what his powers are like."
"Tsk, I thought I’d finally get the opportunity to take down that fart, arghh," it said in anger, then folded its arms and legs while floating.
"You don’t like Loki?" he asked, a bit shocked because he figured since she was sowhat related to him, she would not want to kill him like she wanted to right now.
"No, I do not. I don’t think anyone likes gods. They aren’t likable, especially the ones that create you. They are terrible. But all that aside, my na is Flo, and I’m your guardian spirit as of now, well after you sign this," she said and pulled out a piece of paper, a contract, and a floating quill.
"Seriously? A contract?" he asked.
"Indeed. How else will we spend the rest of our lives together if we aren’t contracted?" it asked.
"You make it sound weird," Aren replied.
"Also, your na is Flo. Are you a female?" Aren asked.
"No, spirits have no sex, but we choose what gender to act like, and if you do that for long enough, you’ll pretty much beco that for most of this life, so in a way, yes, I am," she replied.
"Could have just said yes," Aren stated.
Knock knock.
"Aren, are you alright? We saw a blinding light from here, and you literally shook the entire building," Aiden asked from outside.
"I’m fine. I was just testing out sothing. It was a mistake," Aren replied.
"Please don’t do that here. You’ll bring the whole building down," Aiden continued.
"It’s nothing, I promise. Tell anyone that is worried that it’s totally fine," Aren said.
"I’m curious as to what you are doing inside. Let in," Zero suddenly spoke.
"Zero, you can’t co in. I’m busy," Aren stated.
"That would work if I actually cared. I’ll break down the door and co in now," Zero threatened.
"Zero, if you break down my door, I’ll make sure I knock on that head of yours," Aren threatened, and then everything went silent.
"Oh shit, move back," he said to Flo as he stepped back as well, and the next mont,
BOOM!
The door was blasted down, and before them stood Zero. She pointed at Aren. "Don’t tell not to do sothing, because then I want to do it," she said, then walked in, followed by Aiden, Kira, Athena, and Raze.
They all looked at the floating cat that had her hands and legs crossed in the air.
"Sup," Flo spoke.
"What’s that?" Kira asked, her eyes already shining as she looked at the cute cat.
"Flo, a summon of mine," Aren replied.
"Why isn’t it dark like the others?" Aiden asked.
"Flo is special," Aren replied.
While they were talking, Zero had already approached. She stared at Flo up close and then poked its belly.
"Hey, hey, hands off," Flo said and tried to fly away, only for Zero to grab it.
"Hellllllp," Flo scread, looking at Aren. "Take away from her now. She wants to kill ," Flo yelled.
"Don’t be overdramatic. Zero wouldn’t do anything to hurt you," Aren said.
"I can’t hurt it?" Zero asked, a question which imdiately made everyone panic.
"Alright, alright, hand her over, Zero," Aren said and took Flo away from her.
Flo let out a sigh of relief. "I could sll the evil on her. She was definitely going to take my insides out," Flo said.
Aren rolled his eyes and dropped the cat on his head before facing the others.
"The summoning of Flo is what brought the light. Nothing else was happening," Aren stated.
"Yeah, can’t even be sure with you. You could bring down the whole place by mistake," Aiden said.
"Why the hell do you sound so sure saying that, like I have done sothing like that before?" Aren asked, and Aiden only shrugged.
"Alright guys, you’ll see Flo tomorrow and we’ll talk more. Right now, I’m not done, so can you go?" he asked.
Seeing that he wasn’t in any danger, the guys left first, then Athena, and then Kira, who gave Flo a look of longing to touch.
Zero stood there without moving. Aren let out a sigh, and a tendril ca out of the floor, wrapped around her, and took her outside. He lifted his door into place and then used tendrils to hold it up.
