The thug was stunned. He never saw Raze move, it was like he had vanished and found a way to close the gap.
Still, he was a more experienced Awaken. He had been in the last batch of Awaken, the ti he had spent here was pretty long, and he had also finished the trials. That had to count for sothing, right?
Gritting his teeth, he gripped his sword tightly. The snake let out a loud hiss as he swung down to attack Raze. The attack path was pretty obvious, but he made up for it with speed, executing the slash extrely fast and clean.
If it had been anyone else faced with such an attack, they would have for sure died. Not Raze though, as his body suddenly stopped and turned with an explosive speed that was near impossible. He dodged the attack cleanly, eyes still scanning the thug’s body for the best possible attack.
"Knees," he muttered before swinging at full speed. The chair leg made a clean arc through the air.
BAM
CRACK
The knee bent the wrong way as a loud cracking sound tore through the air.
The thug glanced down as the pain shot through his entire body. "Arghhhhhhhhh!"
He collapsed to the ground in pain, losing his grip on his sword.
On the other hand of things, the white-haired man turned out to be quite the fighter.
One of the thugs rushed in with an attack, sword flaming and ready to cut anything. The man saw the flaming sword and stepped back fast, dodging the initial swing, then rushing ahead. The thug stepped back to put so distance between them and then thrust the sword forward. It erupted with an explosive fla.
The man dodged to the side while still moving forward. He watched as the extrely hot flas seared the top of his hair, but he was unbothered. His eyes slowly shifted back to the thug.
He turned his hands into a claw shape and thrust for the thug’s chest. He made sure to be fast like a snake attacking. There was no way for the man to react in ti as the fingers slamd into his chest extrely hard.
BAM
The thug coughed up blood, his body thrown back. The man did not stop there. He grabbed onto the hair of the thug before slamming him down into the ground without even looking.
His eyes were already looking up for his next target. He saw the leader still there, bitching about his broken nose. He was the best target, but before the man could attack, another thing ca rushing at him, gripping a sword that exploded with lightning.
"Arghhhhhh!" He yelled in anger and slashed. The man leaped back fast and dodged the attack, but a lightning arc was released, slamming right into his chest.
BOOM
He was thrown back, slamming into the rubble of the counter and so tables. He rolled and ca to a stop. When he looked up, he saw the thug with the lightning sword stabbing downward, sword coated in lightning.
He reacted fast and rolled out of the way. The sword stabbed into the ground and lightning exploded in every direction. So of the bolts slamd into the man, but he was ultimately untouched.
He got back on his feet, and before the thug could pull his sword out of the ground, he lunged forward knee first into the head of the thug.
BAM
The collision was so powerful it knocked the head backward, blood spilling from head and nose into the air like a fountain. He planted his feet into the ground, spun, and sent a kick right into the head of the dude, throwing him back and into a group of chairs.
What was left now was the leader and the massive dude of the group with a mace.
"Grunt."
The massive thug grunted and rushed ahead, every step shaking the building. He got into range as he imdiately swung. The mace cut through the air. The man dodged, yet the powerful force from it surged forward.
BAM
It slamd into the man hard, throwing him back extrely fast and ripping the floor up. The man slamd into the wall and cracked it. Behind the wall were the chefs and waiters, and when they saw the man thrown back like that, they panicked.
The man got back on his feet, only for the thug to already be there and swinging for his head. He dodged under the mace and rolled. The mace slamd into the wall hard and cracked it.
The man got to his feet and attacked. The thug was slow to turn. The fist slamd into his ribs, and multiple ribs were broken from the impact.
"Grunt." He grunted in pain and staggered backward.
The man, not wanting to miss his chance to finish this, rushed ahead, flash stepping so fast that it looked like teleportation. He went for the leg, kicking it so hard that it bent backward, definitely breaking a bone.
"Arghhhhh!" The man let out a very deep scream and collapsed to the ground, clutching his leg.
The man turned and it was only the leader that was left. He looked at his n on the ground in horror. Quickly, he decided to find a way out, and as his eyes scanned, he looked at Athena, who seed to be the weakest person here.
If he could grab her fast enough and use her as a hostage, then he would be able to survive this for sure.
He lunged at Athena without much thought, his hand landing on her shoulder as he started pulling her in, the worst possible mistake a man could make.
Aren, Aiden, Kira, Raze, and especially Zero, their faces all twisted into one of unchained rage. They all reacted in an instant.
Aren moved the fastest, rushing in between them. He punched the leader into the air so hard he lifted off the ground. Aiden and Raze t the leader in the air, punching at the sa ti. Their fists collided hard into the head, definitely cracking the skull.
Zero then moved in fast from under, using one of her space attacks to slam him right in the chest, throwing him up and slamming him against the ceiling, before Kira ended it with a wave of ice that slamd into him, freezing him against the side of the wall.
