Aren’s eyes locked onto the hamr
Step back
BOOM!
The hamr slamd into the ground, the earth trembled under his feet, Aren could barely keep his footing, he looked forward at Ragna
Ragna moved, swinging upward,
Lean back, Aren avoided it, but a force followed
BAM
It slamd into Aren, hurling him back through the air, he flipped in the air and stood on his feet, looked up and attacked.
He swung, full slash.
The ancient devourer curled through the air in a beautiful arch, lunging at Ragna
Ragna pulled back fast, and swung his hamr to block
Clang!
Both weapons deflected in different directions.
Ragna gritted his teeth, trying to co forward from the knockback, but Aren was already charging ahead fast, he swung, the ancient devourer taking a full curve around before lunging, eager for the blood of Ragna
"Arghhhhhh" Ragna roared and pulled himself back with a swing forward.
BAM
Another collision rocked the air, but Aren was close already, throwing a punch with his free hand.
Right jab
Ragna saw the punch,
Lean back dodge,
Imdiate counter, full downward swing.
’Move to the side.’ Aren reacted fast, pushing to the side
BAM
The hamr hit the ground, the earth trembled, cracks spreading.
"Die already" Ragna yelled.
’He’ll swing wildly, try to push away, react, don’t allow much distance’
Ragna swung upward with all his strength, the blast packed imnse power.
Aren pushed back fast, but then tendrils shot from the ground, grabbing him and pulling him in after the attack missed, it was like a slingshot, he ca feet first into the chest of Ragna.
BAM
Ragna was thrown back, Aren attacked while he was mid air, the ancient devourer rushed through the air, its teeth clamping hard into Ragna’s arm, blood gushed out.
The sword drank as much as it could as fast as it could.
Ragna looked at his arm, rage burned even higher.
"Arghhhhhh" His voice thundered, he swung his hamr down hard, slamming into the head of the devourer and forcing the weapon off.
He landed on the ground, skidding backwards, he looked up, eyes burning with rage.
"I’ll destroy you" He growled.
"It’s already too late for that" Aren replied, he looked at the ancient devourer in his hands, it glowed, eager to have more blood.
"It’s sad to say Ragna, but the very mont you saw pull this sword, it was over, the only way one of us walks away is if we die, and as it stands, you’re gonna die." Aren said
Ragna’s face twisted, he looked at Aren, and then scoffed, "Enough talk, now let’s fight, whoever is greater will walk away from this." Ragna said, he moved his hands slightly, allowing the soul energy to flow even better, the hamr pulsed heavier.
Then suddenly
BOOM!
His aura exploded, raging like a sea, it reached high into the sky, causing even space itself to shift and turn. He then looked at Aren.
"This is , at my full strength, at the peak of my power." Ragna declared. He opened his arms wide, and then lifted his hamr hand up, "and you’ll be the first to have faced it."
Ragna shifted his stance, his foot pressed hard into the ground, it cracked without him moving at all.
He looked up!
He moved!
A massive blast remained where he had been, but he had vanished, moving like a bullet.
Aren closed his eyes, he knew it was useless in this battle, he allowed his shadow sense to take the lead as well as his martial art.
He followed Ragna as he rushed at him, and at the halfway point Ragna swung.
BOOM!
The swing started at the center, and continued until he got to Aren.
Aren swung forward, his devourer collided with the hamr, the air shook, but the devourer was knocked back and Ragna pushed forward.
"That will not be enough!" Ragna roared, and unleashed a massive swing.
’Lean back’
Aren dodged barely, the force from it ripped into his face, blood gushed out, but it was a shallow wound.
He planted one foot back to stop himself, then pushed forward again, swinging the ancient devourer from the side while lunging at Ragna.
Ragna looked at the devourer and then at Aren, it was a double attack coming hot at him.
He had to decide fast, to go against Aren, or the sword. He had learned that the sword got stronger with blood, so he knew that he couldn’t allow that sword to hit him.
Sadly he could not hurl his hamr like before, so without a choice, he slamd the hamr hard into the ground, and instantly massive pillars of earth were forced out by the force of the hit, creating a labyrinth that the sword couldn’t pass through, while Ragna could now lock on Aren.
He bolted.
Pulling his arm back--
He swung for the head.
"Cocky bastard." Aren muttered, but then smirked, he knew, he pointed his hands forward, and then unleashed a blast right from his arm, the sa blast used by the wyverns.
Since they had beco his summons, he could now use their abilities.
Ragna didn’t expect the attack at all, it slamd into his chest and threw him back extrely fast. Ragna slamd into the ground for over a hundred ters, a massive burn in his chest.
"Arughhhh!" He groaned and pushed himself back to his feet, looking up, he saw Aren walking toward him with confident steps.
He fired another blast right at Ragna
BOOM
Ragna was thrown back, he slamd into the ground hard, rolling even further.
"I’m sorry Ragna, you really gave it a lot, but that’s not enough, you have never been on my level, and will never be." Aren said.
Ragna heard those words, his rage was fully unleashed, he punched the ground hard and began struggling to get to his feet, but before he could rise, Aren fired another blast, sending him back down.
"Stay down, there is nothing more, and I’m tired of this fight."
