Every adventurer in the guild turned toward the masked figures with confused and tense expressions. Did they really just launch an attack inside the Adventurers’ Guild, one of the places that housed so of the greatest elites?

Everyone instinctively prepared to fight. These attackers would be pumled into the ground.

Then Legion stepped forward.

He lifted his foot and slamd it down in a single, powerful stomp.

BOOM!

The entire floor shook violently as his foot landed. Everyone struggled to keep their balance.

"Whoa..." Aren muttered, stunned by the sheer power behind a single stomp.

Every eye in the building snapped toward Legion.

"The Guild Master..." a few people whispered.

There was no rage on his face. No fury. Only exhaustion.

"I told you not to do this, Arith," Legion said calmly, though his voice hovered dangerously close to anger.

One of the masked figures turned toward him and suddenly dashed forward at full speed. She flipped midair and ca down with an overhead kick.

Legion blocked it effortlessly.

Thud.

She tried to retract her leg, but Legion grabbed it instantly and slamd her down.

BAM!

Her body hit the floor with such force that she didn’t move afterward, though she was still alive.

"The rest of you, get the hell out," Legion bellowed.

The remaining masked figures imdiately fled, escaping through doors and windows alike.

Once they were gone, Legion spoke again.

"I apologize, everyone. There’s no real trouble. You may return to what you were doing."

Hearing those words from the Guild Master instantly put everyone at ease. The adventurers returned to their activities as if nothing had happened.

"Stand up, Arith. You’re not dead," Legion said, looking down at the figure on the ground.

No response.

"Tsk. If you don’t get up, I’ll revoke your access to my training room," he added coldly.

She bolted upright imdiately, leaping to her feet like a startled frog.

She stood straight, perfectly at attention.

"Sigh..." Legion rubbed his face and then turned toward the group, noticing the confusion on their faces.

"This is my sister, Arith," he said, pointing at her.

She removed her mask, letting her blood-red hair cascade freely. For a brief mont, it felt as if ti slowed. Her pale skin was flawless, her deep crimson eyes captivating. Her face was a perfect balance between cute and strikingly beautiful.

Judging from her youthful appearance, she was likely in her twenties, probably from the previous set of Awakened.

"Nice to et you. My na is Arith," she said with a calm smile.

"Hey, Arith. It’s been a while," Lance greeted with a wave.

"Lance!" she exclaid excitedly and rushed forward to hug him.

"Arith, I told you not to attack the guild," Legion said sternly. "What if I hadn’t been here? You’d have started an all-out fight with everyone inside."

"Oh, co on," she replied casually. "I’m the master of escape. I’d have slipped out before things got bad. You worry too much."

Legion frowned. "Tsk. Don’t repeat it. And you’ll be paying for all the damage."

That caught her attention instantly. Her eyes snapped toward him in shock.

"Pay? You can’t be serious, bro. You could’ve handled all of this easily," she said, pouting and folding her arms.

"I can. Doesn’t an I will. You’re paying," he replied flatly.

"Uh... forgive for interrupting," Kira said carefully, "but why did your sister attack the guild?"

Legion imdiately pald his face.

"If her reasons made sense, I’d be happy," he said tiredly. Then he looked at Arith. "She likes dares. A few months ago, I told her the guild couldn’t be attacked, and that was all it took. Risk-taking is what drives her."

He turned back to her. "Alright. Pay up."

She imdiately put on a pitiful, puppy-like expression. "Co on, bro. You know I can’t afford that."

He stared at her for a few seconds, then sighed. She thought she’d gotten away with it until he spoke again.

"Then you’ll help assess these three and assign their ranks," he said calmly.

Her face fell instantly. She hated work.

"It’s that, or you pay," Legion added seriously.

"Sigh... whatever," she muttered, accepting her fate.

And that was how they found themselves inside one of the Adventurers’ Guild’s training rooms.

Aiden, Aren, Lance, and Legion sat on a bench along the side of the massive chamber. The room was built with thick marble walls and a multi-layered reinforced floor designed to withstand heavy impacts. There was only one door, positioned at a corner of the room, serving as both the entrance and exit. Vents lined the upper walls to allow proper airflow, while glowing crystals embedded in the ceiling provided illumination.

That was all the room contained, aside from racks of various training weapons ant for combat practice.

Kira stood in the center of the room, facing Arith.

Arith stood opposite her with a visibly tired and uninterested expression. It was clear she had little enthusiasm for this task. She glanced at Kira lazily.

"You’re one of the newer awakened, right?" Arith asked.

Kira nodded. "Yes, I am."

"That’s pretty cool," Arith replied casually, straightening her posture as she prepared herself and letting out a soft smile.

Seeing that Arith was ready, Kira raised her hand and thrust it forward.

Multiple ice lances ford instantly and shot toward Arith in a sharp, freezing barrage, while Arith remained standing calmly in place.

But when the ice lances were close to Arith, they all deflected. None hit her. They flew through the air and slamd into the ground, walls, and even the ceiling, while she stood there unhard.

Kira was stunned when this happened. She imdiately unleashed another barrage of attacks, but the sa thing happened, and none even got close to Arith.

"What the hell is happening?" Aren muttered as he watched from the side. He couldn’t sense anything strange happening, and yet sothing was happening, she was deflecting the attacks sohow. His curiosity was piqued, he watched their fight with full attention.
