"Infuse Mana into my body," Roman whispered, and Ava was surprised at his request.

Since Clara was staring at Roman, she didn’t make eye contact and just poured a little Mana into his body.

Roman felt it again; this was the sa feeling he felt in the library; this was missing this morning when he was trying to practice.

Unlike moving Mana to his hands, moving it to his eyes was quite simple since he couldn’t cast spells with his eyes.

Roman closed his eyes for so seconds, and as he opened them, he could finally see the spell circle Clara was talking about.

"Alright, let’s continue; everyone listen closely," Clara continued.

"You can’t draw Mana from your core, and your Mana control is lacking terribly. Are you really supposed to be in the academy, and you’re planning to win the Queen’s tournant?" Ava chuckled.

"What happened to your tongue, can’t you speak"

"Let’s just listen" Roman spoke with his hands still holding Ava’s.

Clara turned slightly, letting the glowing spell circle hover beside her still on her hands.

"My magic type is elental," she said. "Specifically, fire. This spell circle is for a small fla spell—perfect for beginners"

"The total number of students has been checked, and they’re 215 students, 167 are elental mages, so elental spell circles are the very basics, so everyone will learn one before the end of this week," Clara spoke, and one of the girls raised her hands.

"What if I’m not an elental mage?" She asked.

"I know, I just want everyone to learn a simple spell circle, even though you’re not an elental mage, you can still project the spell circle, but the spell isn’t going to work, everyone would present their spell circle in 4 days"

"Let’s continue"

"There are seven main types of magic in our world," she continued, pacing slowly in front of the class.

"Elental, Summoning, Blood, Arcane, Rune, Enchantnt, and Illusion Magic, but there are others like healing which isn’t classified under any of the seven, and the first and only new type of magic which was discovered so years ago by Miss Victoria, Darkness"

She paused, then added, "All of them use spell circles, just like this one. The design changes depending on the magic type, but the idea is the sa—your Mana flows through the circle to shape and control the spell."

A student raised their hand. "What about rune mages?"

Clara smiled. "Good question. Rune mages are different. They don’t use spell circles. Instead, they carve or draw runes with their Mana—symbols that carry power on their own. But rune magic is rare and more complicated. For most of you, spell circles are the core of everything you’ll learn, but we do have rune mages, is any here?" Clara asked.

The students looked around, but no one raised their hands or answered.

"No one, alright then" Clara continued as she pointed to her circle.

"This middle part is where you set the main elent or effect. Mine is fire. Around that are the control rings—these help shape the fla, I can make my fire tiny, big, scattered, and in a straight line"

"I’m sure most of you would want to ask what about the amount of Mana you infuse, spell circle control the outco, even if I pour a lot of mana, the spell can stay tiny if the spell circle was designed that way"

She waved her hand, and the circle shifted slightly; a tiny fla was made, and soon the fire pulsing brighter.

"Right now, this spell would create a small fla. But with training, I can adjust this sa circle to create a fireball, a stream of fire, or even a wall of fla."

She looked around the class.

"Your first spell—the one awakened during the ceremony—was given to you. You didn’t have to learn the circle; the knowledge was infused directly into your mind. But from now on, every spell you learn will take study, focus, and practice as I’ve said"

She held up her hand again, and the circle faded out slowly like mist then she turned around and walked towards the board.

The classroom had a large board that was placed on the wall, the board was almost as big as the wall themselves

Clara turned to the board behind her and picked up a chalk from the table beside her.

"Now, let break down the parts of a basic elental spell circle," she said, drawing a large ring on the board.

"This outer ring—" she tapped it lightly, "—is the mana boundary. It holds your energy in place. Without it, your spell won’t take shape at all. Think of it like a cup holding water. If there’s no cup, the water just spills."

She drew a smaller ring inside the first, closer to the center.

"This inner ring is the elent core. For , I draw the fire rune here. This tells the spell what kind of elent to use—fire, water, wind, enchant, blood, each had different rune you’ll need to learn"

Clara added a small symbol in the center that looked like a fla.

"This is the fire rune. Each elent has its own rune, and each spell uses it differently depending on the effect."

Next, she drew three smaller circles between the outer and inner rings, spaced evenly around.

"These are control runes," Clara said, pointing to the three smaller circles. "They shape the spell. Think of them like instructions so the spell can be easily controlled, beginner mages might rely on them but advanced mages don’t need them"

She added simple arrows and lines in each small circle, showing examples.

"This one ans straight direction. This one ans spread out. And this one limits the fla to stay small."

She stepped back and let the class look at the finished drawing.

"So when I cast a small fla spell, this is the full spell circle I imagine. My mana flows into the outer ring first, then activates the core, then follows the instructions set by the control runes, I do all that in a split second"

Clara stretched her hand and pointed to a girl in front, and the next mont, a fireball was shot from her hand.

"Arrghh..." The girl scread and attempted to bend down but the fla died out before reaching her.

"That’s how fast I can fire a spell because of years of training" Clara spoke.

A smile ford on Roman’s face; this was the basics of everything; if he could master Mana control, then actually learning magic wasn’t sothing hard.

’Wait...since I have all possible magic types, that ans I’ll be able to learn seven tis as many spells as anyone in the world, how the hell would I rember all the minor changes in the spell circle’

’This is just the first class, but I can’t afford to take things slow, I’m going to learn Mana control this night, after visiting the girls of course’

Clara continued as she pointed to the spaces between the parts.

"Later on, you’ll learn about amplifiers and limiters, which go in these gaps. They help make spells stronger—or keep them from using too much mana, you’ll learn to control your spell like I did just now, control the reach and control the intensity"

She paused, letting the board speak for itself.

"And this is only for the simplest fla. Stronger spells might have five, ten, or even twenty layers around the core. But don’t worry, you’ll get there in ti."

Clara set the chalk down.

"Understanding each part of the spell circle will help you control your magic better. Without this, your spells will be wild, unstable, or just fail completely."

"And rember," she added with a calm voice, "spell circles aren’t just about power—they’re about precision. A weak spell with perfect form is always better than a strong one you can’t control."

Then she stepped aside, giving the class a clear view of the completed diagram.

"Now, take your ti and just try to understand the structure. This is the foundation of magic."

Roman stared at the board, taking the information in; this was the easy part; learning the magic circle wasn’t going to ever be a problem with Roman because he was quite good at things like this.

But the real problem was projecting it. To project a spell circle to cast a spell, he’ll need to learn Mana control first to be able to do that.

"Do you still have to hold my hands?" Ava asked.

"No, thanks for your help"

"I can teach you if you want," Ava spoke in the lowest voice Roman had ever heard; he could barely hear what she was saying.
