Wilderness:
Elton and two other City Governors have suffered serious injuries. But they managed to cause heavy damage to the Tier-6 Worm Beasts.
Upon sustaining injuries, the Tier-6 beasts went back underground. The City Governors took that ti to tend to their wounds.
"Elton, the Tier-6 Beasts won't be able to cause any problems," the tall City Governor said.
The other shorter one was busy attending to his wound.
No one noticed that a Tier-7 Thorny Worm Beast was right under their noses, hiding beneath the surface. Yet it was buried so deeply that it was impossible for the City Governors to sense it.
Elton, who heard his colleagues' words, was ready to reply, but he suddenly felt a bad premonition.
Boom!
The ground where the other two City Governors were seated cracked.
Before they could comprehend what was happening, a powerful impact force hit their bodies directly.
They rolled over the ground before stabilizing themselves.
Elton, who was not far from them, was swept away by the impact force.
Pfff!
The two City Governors, who were already seriously injured, saw the impact force aggravate their injuries even further.
"Tier-7 Beast!"
A loud exclamation was heard.
Elton and the other two City Governors trembled in fear. For a mont, they were unable to move from their spots.
Elton's condition was better than the other two, but with his current injuries, it was impossible for him to fight the Tier-7 Thorny Worm Beast alone.
He was not in his best condition. Like the other two, he was reluctant to use his lifeline beast.
The huge worm beast didn't even waste ti. It went back underground, confirming that the intruders were injured and couldn't pose a threat to it.
After realizing that, the Tier-7 Thorny Worm Beast started moving toward City A underground.
Phew!
Elton heaved a sigh of relief. For a mont, he thought all three of them would be squashed under the Tier-7 Beast's humongous body.
When the Tier-7 Beast was gone, they exchanged glances.
"It can't be helped. I'm going to request help from the Human Alliance again," Elton said in a solemn tone.
Hearing that, the other two City Governors nodded their heads helplessly. When the invasion started, they had reported back to the Human Alliance.
Soone should already be on their way to help them.
On the other hand, the Tier-7 Worm Beast reached the battlefield. It imdiately sensed 16 Tier-6 Beast Tars.
The Worm Beast didn't expect the enemy to have backup. It only had 3 Tier-6 Beasts under its command.
The Thorny Worm made the decision to return. Its underlings were already injured, and it didn't want to get besieged and die.
The Tier-7 Thorny Beast turned around and started heading back to the wilderness.
The City A Beast Tars had no idea they were fortunate right now, as the Tier-7 Thorny Beast had decided to retreat.

East Side:
Jeremy and others sohow dealt with a number of Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts. The Tier-4 Beasts were faced by the Third and Fourth Year Seniors.
As ti passed, the number of Tier-4 Beast attacks was reducing. But no one knew when the invasion would co to an end.
Jeremy was enjoying a few minutes of peace. He was looking around and observing the surroundings. The Captains were still occupied with the Tier-5 Corrupted Beasts.
Compared to before, the number of Tier-5 Beasts had reduced by three, giving hope to everyone on the front line.
But still, he was not sure whether there would be a new wave of Tier-5 Beasts.
As ti passed, Jeremy encountered a Tier-4 Beast again, but it was quickly killed by fourth-year seniors.
Boom!
Just as he relaxed, he saw sothing unbelievable. A huge bird appeared in the sky carrying three people.
He imdiately recognized the bird; it was the lifeline Beast of one of the City Governors.
Not only him but the other Beast Tars recognized it as well. Everyone was waiting to hear the news.

The bird carrying Elton and others entered City A. Elton and others then stepped out and stood in mid-air. The bird returned to Elton's ntal zone.
Right after, 16 figures appeared in front of them. They were all Commanders and Tier-6 Beast Tars.
Seeing them, Elton's mouth twitched. The other two City Governors had ugly expressions as well.
If they had known earlier that only one Tier-7 Corrupted Thorny Beast was behind the invasion, their decision would have been different.
They would have ordered the Commanders to take care of the three Tier-6 Beasts and the one Tier-7 Beast.
Sixteen Tier-6 Beast Tars combined could stop the advance of the Tier-7 Beast.
Commander Harris's eyes flickered. He and the others noticed the injuries on the City Governors. It made them shudder.
The Commanders all knew that only a Tier-7 Beast could cause this much injury.
"Elton, you explain," the tall City Governor said.
Hearing that, Elton nodded his head and turned toward the others.
He said, "A single Tier-7 Thorny Worm Beast is responsible for the invasion. We have injured the three Tier-6 Worm Beasts under the Tier-7 Beast."
"But the Tier-7 Beast is yet to be resolved. It's conveniently hiding underground. It's difficult for us to do anything unless it cos back to the surface."
"We have requested help from the Human Alliance. They will deal with it. For now, there are no other threats left."
"As long as you kill the remaining beasts on the battlefield, we will be safe," Elton said.
Gasp!
"Tier-7 Worm Beasts are difficult to kill!"
The Commanders exclaid in surprise. They knew how challenging it was to trace and find a Tier-7 Worm Beast.
So they were pleased when they heard the Human Alliance was going to help. Then they didn't waste any more ti. The Commanders themselves went out to clear out the remaining Tier-5 and Tier-4 Beasts.
Once they left, Elton's face turned ugly. Everyone noticed how happy the Commanders were. They completely forgot that the City Governors were injured.
Elton and other 2 City Governors left the City Gate. They are going to recover themselves first.
