Class:
Jeremy looked at the two before he thought of sothing. He thinks it's necessary to remind them of the dangers of the wilderness.
"More importantly, no amount of preparation can be enough. The wilderness is a largely unexplored area. What we're doing is scratching the outer edge," Jeremy said to them.
Gasp!
Daniel sucked in a cold breath of air. He was not naive. He knew that the Human Alliance's mission is to rebuild civilization and expand the human populace.
"Jeremy is right. If you hadn't reminded us, we would have overlooked a major problem. The Tier-7 Beast that attacked our city might be a wandering beast at the outer edge."
"If the beasts living in the deeper areas of the wilderness had decided to take action, then no one would have saved us," Betsy said.
Hearing that, Jeremy nodded to her. Then they spoke about a few other things before Jeremy decided to visit the library.
Since he had decided to enrich his knowledge about survival skills, he decided to start right away. He left the class after saying goodbye to them.
About 10 minutes later,
He arrived at the first-year students' library. There were many books written by authors about survival skills. Apart from that, there were also notes left by the passed-out seniors.
These notes detailed their travel experiences.
Jeremy was interested in these notes. He was not quick to select the books. After selecting a couple of notes on the monitor screen, he found book racks around the corner.
He picked a couple of hard copy notes left by the passed-out seniors. He then sat in a chair and began to read them.
Ti is like running water; he completely imrsed himself in studying the life experiences of the seniors.
Each of them vividly described the wild encounters they faced. So of them had entered dangerous zones, which even corrupted beasts avoided.
For example, the dangerous zones could be the Poisonous Swamp and other deadly areas. After the mutation, many dangerous zones ford naturally. So of them are waiting to be explored.
Ti passed,
In the evening, Jeremy finished reading the travel notes. His eyes flashed with a glint. Unknowingly, he had spent a couple of hours reading the notes.
But to be honest, he felt it was worth it. From these travel notes, he could tell that the seniors had gone deeper into the wilderness.
On the other hand, he had finished doing the mission in the periphery of the outer edge area. He had yet to explore the whole outer edge first.
Jeremy thought it was unwise to go deeper without Tier-2 and Tier-3 Beast Taming Power. He then stood up and placed the travel notes back on the racks.
Since he had read the travel notes today, he decided to read the books on survival knowledge tomorrow.
About 10 minutes later,
He started going back to his dorm building.
...
Elental Departnt:
May Lindsey was speaking to the young lady in front of her. If Jeremy were here, he would be shocked because May Lindsey was talking to Petra Ross.
"Are you sure he won't join us for the mission?" May Lindsey asked.
Petra Ross nodded her head before replying, "We had a conflict with him in the past. I'm sure he won't join us. Besides, he is the Representative of the Striker Departnt."
"How can a Departnt Representative do missions under another Representative?" Petra said.
Hearing that, May Lindsey's eyes flickered.
Like Victor Scott, her family had formulated a training plan for her. She had to train in the wilderness, but she was aware of the dangers it posed.
That's why she was looking to form a team. She selected Petra Ross for her team not long ago. Her talent was good along with her lifeline beast.
Her strength was comparable to an average A-Grade Beast Tar, so May Lindsey recruited her for her team.
"If he doesn't join, it's okay. We can prepare ourselves for the mission," May Lindsey said.
Hearing that, Petra sighed. Compared to before, she had lost her edge. Her competitive spirit was not as strong as before.
Especially after knowing Jeremy Night's strength, so much so that S-Graders were starting to recognize Jeremy's strength.
Petra sighed inwardly. Not only was she feeling lost, but she thought it was the sa case with Levy Glass. Everyone started from the sa place.
But one of them had taken a huge leap ahead of them already.
...
The following day,
Jeremy Night once again ca to the library in the morning. The librarian and the assistants were surprised.
They had been curious yesterday after learning that Jeremy Night was studying the wilderness. They couldn't help but look at him in a new light now.
They knew other students had started going for missions. Rarely do people co to the library to address their lack of knowledge.
Jeremy felt the gazes of others. He nodded to them before picking up a book on the topic of basic tracking. He felt that the book was important.
He sat in a seat and started reading it.
After seeing that Jeremy started reading, others minded their own business.
...
Ti passed,
Victor Scott was walking towards Jeremy Night's departnt. For his training plan to succeed, he was willing to lower himself to et Jeremy Night.
He didn't know whether Jeremy Night would agree or not.
Shortly afterwards,
He arrived at the departnt building. He was alone; he hadn't brought anyone with him. A wandering Machinery Departnt student recognized S-Grader Victor Scott.
He imdiately ca forward to talk to him.
Victor Scott learned that there were three departnts operating in the sa building. His eyes flashed with surprise.
He had forgotten that the Striker Departnt only had three people. He then entered the elevator to go to the top floor.
When he arrived at the room, he stepped out and started walking towards the classroom.
"Hmmm," Victor Scott was stunned.
He saw that the room was locked. No one was there.
"What's going on?" he asked himself.
Actually, Betsy Lowe and Daniel Stone had started their training as well. They didn't want to be left behind by Jeremy Night. That's why they were not in their room right now.
