Violet Heath noticed soone's presence. She raised her head and saw the person. The next second, she felt a thunderclap strike her head.
"You, how did you survive?" Violet Heath asked.
The Guardian Vivian was showing a look of disbelief as well. She thought it was difficult for everyone to escape, let alone the Tier-1 Beast Tar.
Hearing their words, Jeremy felt disappointnt, but he didn't show it on his face.
"I fled after sensing sothing wrong with the place," Jeremy replied.
Violet Heath and Vivian exchanged looks, their eyes filled with shock. Then they realized that the place had been found by Jeremy Night first.
It was normal for him to sense the danger.
"What about the others?" Violet Heath asked.
Hearing that, Jeremy furrowed his eyebrows. Senior Violet's questioning was irritating him. It was not his job to protect them in the first place. He was the lowest Tier Beast Tar among them.
He then replied, "I saw no one. I never stopped for a mont before coming here."
Violet frowned. She stopped saying anything. It was her responsibility. She had made a wrong choice. Because of her, there were going to be casualties.
If it had been a Family Beast Tar, she could sohow have prevented the problem from escalating. But it was inevitable that a few of the University Beast Tars would die as well.
She didn't know how to respond to Dean Carolyn.
While she was contemplating, the Guardian Vivian's eyes flickered. The exploration mission had ended in failure and disaster. They didn't find any new resources; rather, they had sacrificed their team mbers.
Both the Central University 14 and the Heath Family wouldn't ignore the loss of lives. Soone had to take responsibility. Vivian's eyes flashed with fear.
She was also the one who had persuaded Miss to explore that Black Lake place. If the two forces learned about this, then they wouldn't punish Violet Heath. Instead, they would make her the scapegoat.
Her eyes turned icy. Her sudden change in deanor shocked Vivian.
"Vivian, what happened?" she asked.
But Vivian's gaze was locked onto the young man, Jeremy Night. Vivian thought of a solution. If she killed everyone except the young miss, then they could lie about the incident by saying they were attacked by Tier-5 Beasts.
At the sa ti, Jeremy tightly held the scabbard. He felt a bad premonition all of a sudden, especially when he noticed that Guardian Vivian's gaze was unkind.
"Vivian?" Violet called out.
"Miss, if we go back like this, we will be questioned by the elders. Not only did we lose the family Beast Tars, but the University Beast Tars as well," Vivian said.
Her cold gaze was gone, and she was able to retain clarity.
Hearing that, Vivian beca scared. She didn't know what to do right now.
"Miss, I have a way. If you allow , I can tell you," Vivian said.
"What is it?" Violet asked.
"Miss, co with for a second," Vivian requested.
Hearing that, they stood up and walked away from the place.
Jeremy was startled upon seeing their response. He felt that sothing was amiss.
On the other hand, Vivian took Violet to a place a little further away from Jeremy Night.
Vivian then looked into Violet's eyes and said, "Miss, why don't we kill everyone here? Then we can lie to the Family and the University."
"No one will suspect us if they think we were attacked by Tier-5 Corrupted Beasts," she added.
Hearing that, Violet's face changed drastically, especially when she heard Vivian suggest killing everyone here. She didn't know about the others, but she was aware of one secret. It was related to Jeremy Night.
Jeremy Night's information was kept confidential under the order of soone from the Human Alliance. If they killed Jeremy Night here, then her family would be erased from City A.
This matter was a secret known to a few people in City A. She knew it was also one of the reasons why Dean Carolyn made Jeremy Night the representative of the Striker Departnt.
Because no one dared to take action against Jeremy. If Vivian knew about this, she wouldn't dare to make such statents.
"Stop it. We won't be silencing anyone. If you are worried about your life, then I'll protect you. Don't ntion it again, especially ever in front of Jeremy Night," Violet said in a cold tone.
This ti, she looked cold and decisive.
Guardian Vivian was left speechless, but she chose to trust Miss. She knew about her; she would do sothing to protect her.
Then both of them returned to their previous spot. Jeremy Night was still there.
"Jeremy, what do you think? Should we leave or wait for others?" Violet asked.
Because it was unsafe to stay here at night.
Jeremy was stunned. He found that the attitudes of these people were different from before. Earlier, both of them had shown so hostility. Now their tone had changed.
He had made up his mind not to go on a mission with these people again. Right now, it's important to leave this place.
"What are you thinking about?" Violet asked, noticing Jeremy Night was absent-minded.
"I saw a few people escaping with their flying lifeline beasts. The chances of their survival are high. We should wait for them," Jeremy said to her.
"Flying lifeline beasts," Violet started. She had overlooked this matter. If Jeremy's words were true, then the chances of their survival were high.
Earlier, she had thought it was impossible for everyone to survive. Now, hearing this piece of news, she felt relieved.
"Vivian, we should wait for so ti," Violet Heath said in a cold tone.
Hearing that, Vivian shuddered. Her suggestion earlier had offended her. She realized that Miss was afraid of offending Jeremy Night, which ant the young man had an unusual identity. She had been a bit reckless in her thoughts.
She had overlooked the identity matter, but her mood improved after hearing about the survivors.
Not long after,
A huge sparrow carrying the three Beast Tars found them.
Chirp!
The sparrow lifeline beast made a sound before touching down on the ground. The University Beast Tars were overjoyed upon seeing Violet Heath.
Then they landed on the ground.
"Sister Violet, I'm glad that you are fine. That place is too dangerous. Only powerful beast tars can explore that place," one of the University Beast Tars said.
"Fortunately, you guys are fine," a relieved smile appeared on Violet Heath's face.
The Beast Tar called back his lifeline beast. The Sparrow Lifeline Beast disappeared. Next, three of their gazes fell on Jeremy Night.

Their eyes widened in disbelief, especially the person who spoke earlier.
He walked up to Jeremy Night and said, "You first-year student obviously knew about the danger. Then why did you take us to that place?"
Hearing that, everyone was shocked.
Violet Heath furrowed her eyebrows. She thought that the University Beast Tars were starting to create problems. They didn't know about Jeremy Night's backing.
Jeremy's eyes flashed with anger. He thought it was ti to talk back; otherwise, they might falsely accuse him.
"Are you an idiot?"
"I had explained it to everyone. You didn't believe my words then. You guys suspected of hiding so resources."
"Now that you guys have seen the place, you should realize it's your fault from the beginning to end," Jeremy said to the tall person.
"You..." The University Beast Tar was obviously angry.
His companions stepped forward.
"Jeremy Night, it's your fault. You should have told us that beasts can kill Tier-3 Beast Tars," one of them said.
"Yes, it's your fault," the second person said.
Hearing that, Jeremy felt rage. He stood up and said, "It's your stupidity. If you continue to accuse , then I'll speak to Dean Carolyn."
"I have recorded our previous conversations. And I'm recording this conversation as we speak."
"If you are not convinced, let's go to Dean Carolyn," Jeremy said in a cold tone.
Gasp!
A small exclamation occurred. The trio didn't expect the first-year student to be clever. If the recordings were shown, then they would face problems.
On the other hand, Vivian was shocked as well. She didn't expect the young man to be this clever. Thinking about her previous suggestion, she felt a chill in her back.
Fortunately, she had private conversations with Miss at that ti.
Violet Heath sighed inwardly. She felt good that she didn't listen to Vivian. It's their fault, not Jeremy's fault. She shouldn't have listened to her family of beast tars and the University Beast Tars.
Her eyes turned cold, and she shouted at them, "Would you stop it?"
"Do you think I'm blind?"
"You are the ones who wanted to explore ."
Hearing that, the trio's faces changed drastically.
"Senior Sister, we are trying to help you," the taller one said.
"Help ?"
"Did I ask anyone?"
"If I find any of these rumors back in the University, I will ask the Dean to fire you," Violet Heath said in a cold tone.
Hearing that, the trio's faces turned ugly. They felt fear. They had offended the wrong person.
The taller one looked at Jeremy Night with hatred. He was still not convinced. He thought that Jeremy Night was the reason for their loss.
