Attack Departnt Building:

The Attack Departnt Instructor was a middle-aged man. He is a weapon user talent. Most of the Beast Tars who awakened weapon-type talent were all in the Attack Departnt.

The instructor's na was Ted Dawson. He was going rounds to check on the students. Most of them did self-studies and training. Very few needed his guidance. For such people, he spent a few hours daily training them.

Today was not any different. Just as he was going rounds, he saw a group of people coming towards him in a hurry. Upon seeing them, he stopped in his tracks and turned towards them.

He recognized that they were his students.

He asked, "What happened?"

Hearing that, one of them stepped forward. He began to explain things.

About a few minutes later,

"Are you guys mad?"

"Who told you to find trouble with him?" Ted asked with anger.

The students were stunned. They knew they had done it without the knowledge of their instructor. Ted Dawson was looking at them with disappointnt.

A mont later, he let out a sigh. He realized what had made them act like this. The Attack Departnt's reputation had taken a hit.

It was unlike previous years. There were no S-Graders in their departnt. Their Departnt Representative hadn't achieved fa similar to Jeremy Night.

These sorts of comparisons had led to conflict. Earlier, he hadn't taken it seriously. But the senior students continued to make life difficult for their juniors.

He thought of having a eting with the 2nd-year instructor later. But before he could do that, this incident had happened.

Ted Dawson's eyes flickered. He looked at the students and their expectant gazes. Clearly, they wanted a showdown. They were unconvinced about Jeremy Night's status. They didn't believe he had such strength.

More importantly, their Departnt Representative, Roo, was there as well. He thought that kid was level-headed. Yet he had been influenced by the remaining students.

"Okay, let's go," he said after much contemplation.

These things would happen sooner or later. Since it had happened right now, Ted Dawson decided to see it through.

"Yes!"

"We did it!"

The students were excited. They wanted this reaction as well. Now, they were going to see where Jeremy Night was going to escape.

Ted Dawson left with the others. But their movents were noticed by other Attack Departnt students as well.

"Where is he going?"

"The instructor is going towards the Joint Training Facility!"

"Looks like there are others who want to learn from him."

The students discussed, but they didn't know the real reason. If they knew he was going to support Roo Barrett in his challenge, others would be truly excited.

Roo Barrett was waiting along with others. They had stopped their individual training and were waiting for the Attack Departnt Instructor, Ted, to arrive.

Roo was hearing the constant flattery around him. But he knew Jeremy Night was not weak. If soone had those kinds of rumors about him, there must be so truth to it.

Personally, he wanted to see the gap as well. He had heard Jeremy Night was a user of the katana, but Jeremy had awakened a Body Type Combat Talent.

This surprised him, and he was eager to see the difference.

The crowd continued to increase. Students were coming here after seeing social dia posts, especially those in the Training Facility posting about this matter.

Inside the Duel Chamber, the crocodile began to tire out. Daniel Stone realized that it was unnecessary to fight any longer. Since they were doing it to see Jeremy's strength.

If Jeremy had attacked them seriously, his lifeline beast would have been injured.

"I give up," Daniel Stone said.

Jeremy sheathed his sword. The crocodile lifeline beast had impressed him. Now he understood how both of them had survived the beast invasion.

Their lifeline beasts were compatible with them.

"I think I have shown enough strength. It's ti to leave," Jeremy said to them.

"You are strong, but I don't know how strong the other representatives are?" Betsy Lowe comnted.

"I bet they are weaker than our brother," Daniel Stone said from the side.

Hearing that, Jeremy shook his head. He knew the pros and cons of his own situation. Other talents could use their lifeline beasts to fight. He was weak regarding this matter.

But his lifeline beast had given him starlight ability. It could destroy the defense of Tier-3 Beasts. Considering that, he didn't feel bad about not using the lifeline beast.

He also thought that he could make use of the starlight ability with his combat talent.

Instructor Jacob listened to their conversation. He thought of sothing important. It was the breathing thod.

Jeremy looked at them with a smile. Then he stepped off the platform at last. He was completely soaked in sweat. He needed to clean himself first.

The Duel Chamber opened. The three of them walked out of the chamber.

A commotion occurred.

Jeremy Night saw a large number of people occupying the corridor, as if everyone was waiting for them. He found many of their gazes on him.

"What's going on here?" Instructor Jacob asked them.

He could tell that students had deliberately gathered here.

"Brother Jeremy, why are they looking at you?" Daniel Stone asked.

"Jeremy, he is right. They might be here for you," Betsy Lowe said.

Instructor Jacob heard their words. His eyes flickered. He realized it must be true.

The students imdiately felt the mounting pressure. Their expressions changed drastically. They retreated one by one in fear.

"He is here!"

While retreating, the students shouted one after another.

Roo Barrett and others who were waiting for their instructor heard this commotion. They stood up to see whether Jeremy Night had co out or not.
