Wilderness,
"Good." After saying that, Jeremy stabbed him again a few tis.
The Black Clothed Man died unwillingly.
Swoosh!
Jeremy then vacated the place. He started going towards the hideout directly. He was almost convinced that the Black Clothed Man was telling the truth.
The fear of death was evident in his eyes. Unfortunately, they had picked the wrong city to carry out their illegal activity.
While moving, Jeremy couldn't help but think about the corpses. He was sure that this illegal group was doing sothing with those corpses.
Not long after,
The slender-looking man walked out of the cave. When he saw that there was no one near the truck, he was shocked. But when he went forward to check, he saw that their driver had been murdered.
"Who is it this ti?" he scread out loud.
Previously, his mbers had died. Now, his driver was dead as well. The slender-looking man's eyes flickered.
"Was it a rcenary or soone else?" he asked himself.
Their hideout manager had warned them previously; he didn't want anyone to know about them, including unrelated rcenaries.
One thing led to another. They didn't want their identity to be exposed. Right now, their driver was killed, and the slender-looking man didn't know what to think about it.
He then bent down to inspect the corpse. He flipped the body over before looking at the back wound and neck.
"What a vicious stabbing," he muttered to himself.
The driver was a Tier-3 Beast Tar. Ordinary Tier-3 Beast Tars couldn't beat him. To think he was stabbed to death.
He thought the enemy might be a Tier-3 Peak or Tier-4, Rank 1 Beast Tar.
"Things are getting out of my hands. I'll tell the manager first." After muttering to himself, he made a call to Manager Salvatore.
The call was connected. He then inford him of everything. The manager asked him to vacate the place since the lair was compromised.
After ending the call, the slender-looking man went back inside the cave to inform his n.
anwhile, inside the hideout, Manager Salvatore was in a bad mood. His n were dying, but he couldn't afford to retaliate.
Revenge and the killings of rcenaries would attract the attention of the City Administration. He knew that the city governors were not ordinary Beast Tars.
They were higher-tier Beast Tars. He couldn't fight against three of them at the sa ti. That's why he had been asking his mbers to stay low-key and avoid killing the rcenaries as much as possible.
He still had a few more lairs to clear out. If he finished the job here, then he could go to the next city.
...
Ti passed.
Ron Night returned to his family. But he was surprised to find that his son was not there. When he asked his wife, Nora shared the news of Jeremy's Rank 4 evolution.
Hearing that, he realized his son Jeremy had gone out on a mission. He didn't know exactly what the mission was, but he knew his son was smart and could protect himself.
...
Wilderness (deeper area):
Jeremy turned off the cam to save the battery. He would activate it again during the interrogation. Before going further, Jeremy decided to put so safety asures in place.
He found a small bedrock nearby in the middle of the jungle. He sat on it before taking out perfu. It was the perfu of one of the nastiest plants.
No corrupted beasts would go near the nastiest plant to avoid the rotten sll, including the high-tier corrupted beasts. It was one of the safety asures he bought from the store.
After spraying it on his combat uniform, he turned his attention to the toad poison. Instead of wasting the starlight energy, he decided to make use of the poison.
He cleaned the bloodstains first before saring the toad poison on the knife blade. After doing that, he started packing everything.
About 10 minutes later,
Jeremy resud his journey. For the first ti, he was going to the deeper area. His heart raced. It was normal to encounter Tier-3 and Tier-4 Corrupted beasts there.
So, he pinned high hopes on the toad poison.
As ti passed, he found that the forest was becoming denser. The sizes of the plants and trees were becoming larger as well.
Not only that, the natural energy in the surroundings was increasing. He didn't know when his unknown egg lifeline beast had started absorbing energy from the surroundings.
But he could feel that this place was getting better as he went further in.
"No wonder high-tier corrupted beasts like to live in the deep area," Jeremy thought.
If he could practice the Inner Healing thod here in this environnt, then he would get twice the results compared to the city environnt.
Rustle!
Jeremy found sothing in night vision again. He could only see a beast is coming towards him. Jeremy stayed on the spot, holding onto the branch of a nearby tree.
He cald his racing heart. He didn't know what kind of beast it was, but it changed direction and fled after slling sothing nasty.
Seeing that, he sighed inwardly. He felt glad that he had made a wise choice to buy safety items. After waiting for another 20 minutes, he resud his journey.
About 2 hours later,
Jeremy followed the map and started getting closer to the place pointed out by the Black Clothed Man.
While going through the jungle, he couldn't help but wonder about the hideout. It was hard to walk on this terrain. He wondered how these people were moving trucks to that place.
But it didn't take long for him to find the answer. He heard the sound of a truck moving in the distance. That sound made his heart race.
He thought he was getting closer to the hideout. He continued moving forward. Slowly, the path ca to an end. The terrain he had walked along so far was the surface of a cliff.
When the path ended, Jeremy saw a slope. Before he could feel disappointed, he saw a line of trucks going sowhere.
