The following day,
Jeremy woke up pretty late. When he saw the ti, it was already past 10 a.m. in the morning. Then he got out of bed and started getting ready.
An hour later,
He left the dorm building. He was wearing a uniform with his katana hanging around his waist. He was calm and relaxed.
While he was walking along the footpath, he ca across other students as well. It was just their facial expressions that changed upon seeing him, as if they had seen sothing unbelievable.
Jeremy furrowed his eyebrows. He was sure that sothing had happened during his absence.
"Jeremy Night has returned!"
"Let's go and inform others!"
"It's going to be a great day!"
Jeremy watched the group fleeing with excitent, but he felt bad.
"Trouble is coming," he said to himself.
Then he resud walking toward the Departnt Building. Soon, he arrived in the departnt building area, where he saw the dicine and Machinery Departnt students.
They showed the sa facial expression upon seeing him, as if they were all patiently waiting for him. Jeremy nodded to them before going toward the elevator.
He then stepped inside the lift. There was no one beside him, so he pressed the button to the top floor.
A few minutes later,
He reached his classroom. He saw Instructor Jacob teaching so topics to Betsy Lowe and Daniel Stone.
"Brother Jeremy!"
Daniel was the first one to notice. He let out a shout, which imdiately alerted the others.
"Jeremy Night, you know when to co back," Betsy Lowe said in a helpless tone.
Instructor Jacob didn't know what to say. He was neither happy nor sad. He couldn't be happy because of the awaiting challenges and he couldn't be sad because he knew Jeremy Night had encountered the Mighty Order Organization.
He was glad that Jeremy had been able to return safely.
"Sit down first," Jacob said.
Hearing that, Jeremy nodded to him before sitting beside Daniel Stone.
"Brother Jeremy, you actually returned at a bad ti," Daniel Stone said.
Jeremy nodded and replied, "I noticed on my way here. So what happened during my absence?"
This ti, Instructor Jacob decided to answer that.

"I'll tell you. When you were not here..." he started to explain slowly.
About 10 minutes later,
Jeremy's eyes flashed with coldness. He had been avoiding the challenges for a reason, not because he was afraid of them.
"I'm not blindly going to accept challenges. I have better things to do. But if soone wants to challenge , they should kill a Tier-3 Corrupted Beast by themselves first," Jeremy said with a smile.
"It's a good idea. In this way, not everyone can bother you," Betsy Lowe added.
"Brother Jeremy, it's indeed a good solution. We have been listening to taunts from others. Now that you have co back, we can talk back to them," Daniel Stone said with a smile.
Instructor Jacob sighed inwardly. He had thought Jeremy would forever not accept the challenges. He was worried about the declining image of the STRIKER Departnt. But now he was happy.
He said, "Leave this challenge to . I'll inform the other Departnt Instructors. If they still don't agree, then I will inform the dean."
"Good," Jeremy replied.
Then he thought of sothing important before saying, "Instructor, one more thing. I would like to et the Dean."
Hearing that, Jacob was stunned. Daniel and Betsy were surprised as well, but they thought it was related to the challenge matter.
Instructor Jacob's eyes flickered as he thought of sothing else.
"Okay, co with ," Instructor Jacob said.
Then he instructed the other two to do self-study.
Jeremy and Instructor Jacob left the place. On the way, Jacob wanted to ask a question, but he stopped himself. He didn't want a third person to eavesdrop on them.
anwhile, Jeremy noticed Instructor Jacob's hesitation. He too understood the implications of offending a powerful illegal organization from another zone.
Soon, they reached the big administration building. They entered the building and then took the lift to reach the top floor.
Jeremy was impressed by the calm and peaceful atmosphere. Not many people were walking along the corridor.
Soon, they reached the top floor. When they arrived in front of the office, Jeremy's expression turned solemn. It was going to be the first face-to-face eting. He had seen her before from afar.
But he didn't know what she was really like.
"Don't be afraid. She won't eat you," Jacob said with a chuckle. Then he started their visit and asked for permission to enter.
Shortly afterwards,
He received permission to enter.
"Let's go," Jacob said.
The door in front of them opened automatically.
Jeremy and Jacob walked inside. The door behind them shut automatically.
Jeremy's gaze fell upon the people inside the room. There was an old woman in white clothes sitting behind the desk.
An old man was sitting opposite her. They were seriously discussing sothing. Jeremy knew the old woman was Dean Carolyn, but he didn't know who the old man was.
"Elder Derek, when did you co back?" Jacob blurted out in surprise.
"Ha...Ha...Ha...."
"Jacob, I'm happy that you're doing well. I have just returned this morning," the old man Derek said with a smile.
Then his gaze fell on the young kid.
"If I'm right, he is the STRIKER Departnt Representative. I have heard of his feats. He is good," he added.
"Jeremy, thank him. He is the Head of the First Year Departnts. His na is Derek Gibson," Instructor Jacob said to him in a low tone.
Hearing that, Jeremy was surprised inwardly. He greeted him politely.
Dean Carolyn was watching everything. When her gaze fell on Jeremy Night, her eyes flashed with surprise. She found Jeremy Night's aura stronger than that of his peers.
"Did he evolve?" she thought to herself.
She thought Jeremy could kill a Tier-3 Corrupted Beast during the Departnt Rankings. Now his strength had risen above before. Surely, he could defeat all of his opponents in the first years.
She doubted whether two S-Graders could defeat Jeremy Night without relying on their lifeline beasts.
