Wilderness:
Ti went by,
Jeremy found the next corrupted beast and engaged in battle. The battle went well. He quickly slayed the Tier-3 Corrupted Beast and continued with his journey.
During the fight, he found a quick way to slay the beast. This way, he could save more energy and ti. Not long after, he found a large shade tree to rest under.
While resting, he began to ponder his sword moves. His attack moves were more fluid than before. His movents were swift compared to before. Coupled with his fast sword moves, it was easy for him to slay the Tier-3 Beast.
He thought it was the right ti for him to fight against the Tier-4 Corrupted Beast. Looking around, he found only a vast, dry expanse of ground. He was in the inner part of the wilderness. You could only find so green patches here and there.
Jeremy wanted to explore the new area of the inner wilderness. But he chose to avoid the area where the beast invasion had occurred.
He knew that the City Governor fought in the battle during the beast invasion. He suspected there could be higher-tier corrupted beasts. He was not ready to take such a level of risk.
Swoosh!
After resting, Jeremy used the beast repellent odor on himself. He thought Tier-5 or above beasts might avoid him. Then he moved away from the spot and went to explore the new area.
If the university students learned about Jeremy's plan, they would be shocked to the core. Jeremy Night was doing sothing unimaginable right now.
Ti passed.
Soon, Jeremy arrived at the new unexplored area. Even City A hadn't been to this place because it was a remote area connected to the vast wilderness, which was unexplored.
Normally, such places are dominated by Tier-5 and above beasts. Jeremy marked this place on the map. His mouth curved into an arc.
He had followed the map to co here. This place was beyond the last marked location on the map. Fortunately, he had not co across any Tier-5 or above beasts.
Otherwise, he would not have been able to co here.
Rumble!
Suddenly, out of nowhere, the ground began to collapse.
Swoosh!
Seeing this, Jeremy retreated backward. He imdiately thought of the City's underground collapse. But this one was different.
He thought sothing was coming out of the ground.
Boom!
The next second, a massive body erged. The huge body was round in shape, but the size was over 20 feet. The width of the body was at least 10 feet.
Jeremy, on the other hand, continued to retreat backward. He felt goosebumps all over his body. He thought the place was barren, with no beasts here.
But he was wrong from the beginning. The other beasts must have avoided this particular place.
Boom!
With a booming sound, the final body of the beast erged, exploding from the ground.
Jeremy raised his head and saw the beast. It was a worm-type creature. He didn't know the exact na of that beast.
But he could already sense death. To make matters worse, the worm beast was releasing disgusting mucus. Its yellow-colored skin was coated in green mucus.
Jeremy dismissed the idea of fighting against this beast because he sensed that its power was above Tier-4.
With its presence, the worm beast was already exuding imnse pressure. If he fought against this worm beast, the outco wouldn't be good.
Swoosh!
Jeremy turned around and started running away. He couldn't afford to waste ti. The massive beast could reach him in seconds.
Boom!
The worm beast made a strange sound before diving down into the ground. The ground split open as its massive body went inside and disappeared in the blink of an eye.
The worm beast had already marked its prey. It wouldn't let him escape.
The worm beast soon reached its target. Jeremy Night could tell the beast was coming towards him from the ground tremor. His expression changed drastically.
He didn't expect to be chased by a Tier-5 Corrupted Beast.
Boom!
Right behind him, the ground split open all of a sudden. Broken rocks flew everywhere.
At that mont, a boulder piece struck Jeremy's back. He was propelled like a fast projectile forward.
Boom!
Jeremy tried to control his body, but it was too late. He crashed into a tree before falling down. It was a bad hit.
He felt pain all over his body. What's more? He wanted to leave. If he delayed even a mont, the worm beast could attack him.
Jeremy struggled to get up despite the pain. He knew that if he didn't leave, it could be all over for him.
Tremor!
The ground continued to shake. Jeremy, without turning back, exploded forward using the movent technique.
Boom!
The worm beast exploded through the ground once again. The beast had missed its prey. It sensed that the prey was escaping at a faster speed than before.
On the other hand, Jeremy kept running. While running, the injuries in his body began to heal because of the Inner Healing thod.
His body cells contained healing energy thanks to the Inner Healing thod. Jeremy felt a cooling sensation inside his body.
So he was not worried about the extre injuries.
Ti passed.
Jeremy ran nonstop until he returned to the area marked on the map. He found that the terrain beneath him had beco more solid.
He didn't think the worm beast could go through the underground. Just as he guessed, the tremor stopped. The worm beast was not following him anymore.
Once he confird this, he relaxed. But he was still feeling the pain. He was lucky enough to escape from a Tier-5 Beast. If it had been a four-legged beast, he doubted whether he would have survived.
Jeremy then collected his thoughts before leaving the place. He chose to find a location to rest. Then he would decide whether to leave or not.
He wanted to fight against more Tier-3 or Tier-4 Corrupted Beasts.
