Room:

When the call was connected, Jeremy learned everything from Instructor Jacob. After ending the call, he began to ponder.

He didn't expect the 2 S-Graders to accept the facts quickly.

He thought they would create a problem since they were convinced it ant the families behind them were convinced as well.

Then he heard that his ban was lifted as well. Now he could go to the wilderness without any problem.

It's ti for him to reach the Peak stage. After gaining so clarity in his thoughts, he went back to sleep.

The next morning,

After getting ready, he checked his storage ring, seeing that the combat uniform, basic knife, gadgets, and other important items were there.

He decided to leave. After turning around, he exited the room. Then he walked out of the dormitory and started walking toward the main gate.

Soon, he reached the main gate and exited through it. The 2 guards didn't pay that much attention.

He then ca to the main street and booked a flying taxi cab. The cab arrived at the spot shortly afterward.

Jeremy entered the cab and sat in the back seat. He told the driver to drop him at the City Gate entrance.

At the sa ti, Jeremy watched the surroundings through the window. The unsolved case was still at the back of his mind.

The Red Squad Team didn't seem to be taking any action either, so he could enter the wilderness for training.

Buzz!

The cab driver started driving. The car hovered above the ground before it started moving toward the destination.

In the cab, he couldn't help but recall last night's conversation with Instructor Jacob.

He wondered what May Lindsey and Victor Scott were doing right now. He doubted whether they could kill a Tier-4 Beast with their current strength.

Then he thought of sothing. He seed to have left abruptly without informing Instructor Jacob.

So he called him and inford him about his plan to practice in the wilderness. Jacob was not surprised; he was expecting this to happen.

But he made one point very clear, which was to keep updating him. Jeremy agreed to do that.

About 10 minutes later,

The driver dropped him at the entrance of the City Gate. There were already Beast Tars standing in line.

Jeremy quickly joined the line. The City Guards started to check IDs before allowing Beast Tars to enter the wilderness.

Soon, it was his turn. The Guards were surprised upon seeing him. This ti he ca alone without Instructor Jacob.

He could see the doubt in their eyes.

"The ban was lifted," Jeremy said.

Hearing that, the Guards were stunned.

"Wait for a second!"

"I'll report to the Captain," one of the guards said before leaving.

Seeing that, Jeremy frowned. It didn't take long for the thick-browed middle-aged man to arrive.

"Is this true?" he asked.

"You can ask my instructor," Jeremy replied.

Then the City Guard Captain made a phone call on the spot. After confirming the news was true, he let Jeremy Night enter the wilderness.

Jeremy felt it was too much, but he understood that it must be Captain Nathan behind all of this.

He wondered whether he was still looking for the identity of the mastermind.

With all the things happening at the University, it was not difficult to see the problem with the senior students.

He then pushed down the unnecessary thoughts before starting to go toward the Forbidden Area.

...

Human Alliance HQ:

Sowhere in a distant land, a place surrounded by mountains. The place is located in such a spot that even the colossal beasts can't invade.

High-tech modern building structures can be seen. The place is a highly fortified facility. This place is the Headquarters of the Human Alliance.

In one of the buildings, an important eting is taking place. Several people are discussing the Genius List.

The Human Alliance received more than 100 recomndations for this year, but not everyone's na can be included.

The people here are going to evaluate the information of recomnded Beast Tars. A few of the people here are Genius High-Tier Beast Tars.

Most of their talents are S-Grade. Only a few exceptional cases have A-Grade Talent here. They are going to select a final few to add to the Genius List.

There are nurous benefits for Beast Tars on the Genius List.

If any powerful beast-taming talents are discovered in advance, they can be recruited for a special training program.

As ti passes, the officials begin to go through one beast-taming talent's information after another.

When it's ti for Zone 14, the na Jeremy Night appears on the screen with the evidence.

[Na: Jeremy Night.

Tier: Tier-1, 9th Rank - Peak Stage.

Talent Grade: A Grade.

Beast Taming Talent: Supre Combat Body.

Lifeline Beast: No record.

Zone: 14

City: A

Current Status: 1st year, STRIKER Departnt Class Monitor.

Record: Tier-4 Fierce Hound Beast Kill.

Evidence: Video footage.]

The officials' gazes fell on the screen. Both the male and female officials were taken aback by the information.

Especially the information ntioned in the record. So of their interest waned after seeing the A-Grade Talent.

For their special program, they needed truly exceptional S-Grade Talents. Then they noticed it was a physique-type talent.

This made them lose further interest.

Those who were interested asked the assistant to play the video. Then everyone saw the talent nad Jeremy Night.

Seeing how the young, handso kid was facing the Tier-4 Hound Corrupted Beast, everyone was impressed right away.

Because it's not every day you can see Tier-1 hunting Tier-4 Beasts. It usually happens in the case of S-Grade Talents.

But here, an A-Grade talent was facing the Tier-4 Beast. Then they saw how Jeremy Night slayed the Tier-4 Fierce Hound in two moves.

Quiet!

The next second, there was a pin-drop silence. They could tell that the person behind the cara was shocked as well.

When it cos to authentication, they would do the rest after the selection. But right now, everyone is dumbfounded.

For geniuses, fighting beyond levels is a common thing. But here, a Tier-1 Beast Tar had fought beyond 3 levels to complete a kill.

After a few seconds of silence, a fierce discussion started. If the evidence turned out to be true, then so were ready to give chances to Jeremy Night.

Because not every day can you find the talent who fights across three levels. Yet there is another group that is against it. They simply wanted an S-Grade to take a place.

Because if Jeremy Night takes the place, then so S-Grade talent might miss out on the chance. So they still prefer S-Grade talents over Jeremy Night.

If no S-Grade talent impressed them, then they could consider Jeremy Night.

After an intense argunt, the officials decided to go through the rest of the list before making conclusions.

Ti passed,

They waited until dusk before going through the review of other recomnded geniuses. Unfortunately, Jeremy's brilliance was overshadowed by the ergence of S-Grade talents and their high bloodline lifeline beasts.

After going through more than 100 recomnded talents, the officials selected the final 20 to add to the genius list. Those who supported Jeremy Night earlier beca silent.

Because the appearance of a few S-Grade talents had shocked them. Compared to Jeremy Night, they were willing to invest in the S-Grade talents more.

Apart from Jeremy Night's record of impressively killing a Tier-4 beast, his other records didn't impress the officials. His lifeline beast was not recorded as well.

This further reduced his chances. Still, there are people who noted down Jeremy Night's na. Though he can't enter the genius list, they think Jeremy's talent can be used in case of ergencies.

...

Wilderness:

Jeremy returned to the Forbidden Area. Then he went to the previous cave spot which was surrounded by nurous mounds.

The next second, the unknown beast egg started to absorb the natural energy from the surroundings. After noticing that, he quickened his pace towards the cave.

When he arrived there, he saw that the place had remained the sa. There was no sign of corrupted beasts' presence here. It made him up his guard.

Last ti, he saw that sa situation. But he didn't take it seriously at that ti. Now this place had no corrupted beasts, which puzzled him even more.

"How could one place be so different from others?" he thought.

Before getting into the investigation, he decided to attempt to break through first. Last ti, he broke through to Mid-Stage. This ti he wanted to break through to Peak Stage as well.

He quickly entered the cave and started to check the place. After making sure there were no beasts hiding there, he started taking out the gadgets and placed them at the entrance of the cave.

If a beast trespassed here, he would know. After doing all of that, he found a bedrock and sat cross-legged on it. Then he started running the breathing thod.

Slowly, the natural energy entered his body. During the circulation, the natural energy was being greedily absorbed by the call.

Seeing that, he continued to repeat the process.
