Wilderness:
Jeremy has been walking towards the destination wearing the armour suit. He thought it would be hard to find the site. But he found the spot soon.
He sees an ant-type beast disappearing into the hole. And it’s not a Tier-3 beast but a Tier-4 beast. He felt a hint of threat from it. Only the Tier-4 and above send him a sense of crisis.
Then he takes out the recording device. He also checks the location sent by the Team Leader, Gisela. The place exactly matches her information.
Now he has no doubt about where he is. He turned on the device and started recording the scenes. He began to wait for the ant beast to co out.
As ti passed, there was no sign of the beasts coming out from the underground.
Seeing that Jeremy walks up to the hole. As he got closer, he felt sothing hidden under the ground. He then began to look around the place to find similar places.
It didn’t take long for him to find a few other holes. These are entry and exit holes for the ant beast. The recording device is capturing every scene.
According to Leader Gisela, this site is dangerous. They are at the risk of facing Ant Beast Invasion. He wanted to poke a few of these spots so that the ant beast could co outside.
But he doesn’t want to trigger sothing worse. He gives so thoughts before deciding to record only. He has decided not to take any drastic asures now.
Leader Gisela has asked him to record the evidence only.
Shortly afterwards,
A human-sized Red Ant walks out of the hole. Followed by a few more Ant beasts appear. They are outside looking for food.
Seeing that Jeremy was stunned. He hadn’t expected his wish to happen so soon. Now that the Ant Beasts are outside. He believes the evidence was enough to convince her.
The Red Ant beasts left the place. But not long after, the leading Ant beast turns around. Its antenna senses sothing wrong. It has found the food not far from the colony.
The Red Ant perceives a threat and communicates with other Ant beasts. The Ant beasts all started moving towards the enemy’s location.
Jeremy was surprised on the other hand. He realised he was exposed. Then his gaze set on the Ant’s antennae. His eyes flickered with an understanding.
He didn’t engage; rather, he retreated. He doesn’t know how many ant colonies were built under this place. If they could pose a threat to any city, he thinks there must be more than 100 Ant colonies.
The Red Ant Beasts sense that the enemy is fleeing. It then communicated with other ants in the underground. The next mont, Ant beasts appeared one after another from the underground.
In a flash, more than 20 Red Ant Beasts similar to human height have gathered in front of the colony. Seeing that Jeremy Night was stunned.
Now his doubts were all gone. If the City Administration needs further evidence, they can collect it themselves.
He has done enough recordings. Jeremy then turned around to flee. With an armour suit, he is running on the ground.
He fears that Tier-4 Ant would follow him.
Swoosh!
The next mont, it was exactly what happened. Among the Red Ants standing outside. A few of them suddenly opened their wings and started following the prey.
Jeremy, who is on the run, felt sothing was chasing him down. Through his eyes, he saw the large ants chasing him from behind.
Seeing that his eyes turned cold. He unsheathed his katana blade. Then he started to cover the blade with new starlight energy.
The white liquid flows gently before covering the single, sharp-edged blade.
Squeak!
One of the Red Ants reaches him from the air. Jeremy’s senses were heightened. He predicts the direction of the Ant beast.
Cut!
Before the ants ’ mandibles could cut his body into pieces. His blade flashes before the eyes of the Ant beast. The blade penetrates deep inside the head.
The huge body of the Ant beast ca to a halt. The next second, he withdrew the katana blade.
Puchak!
A torrent of blood gushes forth. Seeing that it didn’t stop, he continued his attack on the other beasts.
Slice!
One after another, the Tier-4 Ant beasts were cut down by a starlight-filled blade. His eyes see the weakest part. He thrust his blade into the weakest part the next mont.
A few minutes later,
More than 10 Red Ant beasts have died. He was simply targeting the weakest part. He is yet to use his blade technique.
After cutting down the beasts, he resud his journey. Not long after he left the place. A large number of Ant beasts ca to the spot.
Upon seeing the death of their mbers. The Ant beasts were enraged. They dragged the corpses back to the colony and reported to the queen ant.
The queen ant was 3 tis the size of the regular ant beasts. It gave imdiate command to kill similar two-legged enemies near their colonies.
It didn’t take long for the attacks on the Beast Tars to begin when they were trying to walk through the ant colony.
Soon, the words spread to other Beast Tars. For the ti being, everyone is avoiding the route. When all the things were happening.
Jeremy has made it closer to the city. He hadn’t t with any other problems. More importantly, he didn’t see any other Beast Tars. Which puzzles him a lot.
He was expecting to et Beast Tars earlier. But it didn’t happen. He shakes his head before continuing his journey. Soon, he returns to the eting point. It’s the point where the driver dropped him off earlier.
He then made a call to him. But the call was not connected.
His eyes flashed with doubt. He was sure that he had made it clear to the driver. But the driver didn’t pick up his call.
Jeremy then thought of Leader Gisela and called her. The call to her was connected imdiately.
"Where are you?" Gisela asked.
Jeremy told her about his situation.
"Okay, wait there. I’ll send soone to pick you up," She said before ending the call.
Jeremy was stunned. He doesn’t know what’s going on. He then began to wait.
