They didn’t feel any hurry to chase them down. At the sa ti, they don’t want to et with any danger during the nightti.

As ti passed, everyone decided to take turns for the night watch, and the rest of them could sleep. Jeremy agrees to do the night watch first.
He uses his eyes on the place. Charles was sleeping peacefully. Sinag and Ada have decided to stay awake earlier.
But they eventually started sleeping. Jeremy didn’t disturb them. He is willing to stay awake all night. Because he doesn’t trust Charles yet.
This person has shown him open hostility earlier. But he found out when it cos to the mission. He was serious earlier. He didn’t show any signs of threat yet.
Still, Jeremy decides to stay careful. In one way, he was thankful that the mission was aborted. So many things are happening. They don’t have full information on the Sand Bloom Team as well.
He thinks that those people have fooled Leader Gisela as well. But fortunately, she is sending back up a team made up of the 1st Squad mbers.
So they can go back with relief. If the Sand Bloom Team had indeed needed any help, then the 1st Squad would have helped them.

While he is thinking it over. A small rustling sound brought back his thoughts to reality. The sound was faint. Yet he feels sothing is wrong.
Then he uses his eye ability. His vision was better at night compared to other Beast Tars. So he is looking for the corrupted beasts.
Finally, he sees a long body moving through the bushes and slowly approaching them. Seeing that his expression changes. If not for his eye ability, he would not have known.
"Let’s see which Tier is the corrupted beast," Jeremy uttered.
As he continues to watch he sees the beast’s body continue to move. He realises it was the snake-type corrupted beast. But the length of the snake beast caught him off guard.

The next second, Sinag and Ada walk out of the tent. Then Charles stepped out next with a panic-stricken expression.
Jeremy raised his eyebrows in surprise. Then he thought of sothing, and his eyes flickered with an understanding.
"My butterfly says that there is a dangerous aura approaching us," Sinag said with a seriousness.
"It’s the sa with . The lifeline beast felt a threatening aura," Ada replied.
Hearing that Jeremy finally turned towards Charles. From Charles’ words, he can confirm whether the corrupted beast was Tier-4 or Tier-5.
Charles’ face was pale. As if there is no blood circulation happening. But he was petrified. He then wipes off the cold sweat from his forehead.
Then he said, "It’s a Tier-5 Beast ready to run."
"What?" Sinag blurted out in surprise.
Ada’s eyes flashed with fear.
Jeremy was stunned. Then he sighs inwardly. Only his unknown lifeline beast didn’t react. Because it was not threatened by anything.
Charles collected his thoughts. He abandoned the tent and started fleeing right away. Seeing that everyone was stunned.
"I was right," Jeremy said in his heart.
If Charles were doing night watch, he would have fled just like now. Then they would have beco snacks for the Corrupted Beast.
The last good thing he felt about Charles has disappeared from his heart.
"Alright, if we run, then it would beco difficult to survive," Jeremy said to Ada and Sinag.
Both of them were speechless. They didn’t expect a Senior Beast Tar from the 2nd Squad to ditch them.
"How dare he?" Ada asked.
"It’s good that he was not doing night watch," Sinag said in a cold tone. She knew sothing was wrong with him. She was relaxed earlier because their mission was cancelled.
Now Charles had fled from the place leaving behind them. She was pissed off.
"The communication device is with him. How can we contact Leader Gisela?" Ada said.
Hearing that Jeremy and Ada were in trouble. He forgot about the communication device. He saw that Charles was fleeing. But it’s difficult to catch him right now.
Because the snake is approaching the place. It increased pace right after Charles’ actions.
"You guys keep an eye on the surroundings. I’m going to confront the beast," Jeremy said to them.
Both of their faces change. They wanted to help. But their strength is too weak.

"Let’s run. It could be a Tier-5 Beast or above," Sinag said.
Ada remained silent. She agrees with Jeremy’s words. They can’t outrun a possible Tier-5 or above corrupted beast at night.
The beast can easily catch up to them.
Jeremy didn’t listen to her. He unsheathed his katana blade. He saw that the beast was a couple of hundred tres from him.
He begins to cover the katana blade with the starlight.
Seeing that Ada and Sinag hesitated. But they retreated and decided to make a safe distance for Jeremy Night to fight. But both of them were shaking right now.
They couldn’t even fight against a Tier-4 Corrupted Beast. So fighting against the Tier-5 beast and above is an unimaginable task for them.

A 60-foot-long snake beast appears. It’s moving in a zig-zag manner. Upon seeing the beast, Jeremy’s eyes flashed with relief.
Because it was not a Tier-6 or above beast. It’s a Tier-5 Corrupted Beast. If it raises its head, then it will beco taller than humans.
Jeremy stood in its way. The Snake beast saw the prey as well. It sensed that one of the prey had slipped away earlier. Now there are three foods. But one of them was standing in its way.

The snake beast hissed. It decides to swallow the human food as a whole. It started charging towards the human prey.
Sinag and Ada were watching with a fearful expression on their faces. They were so scared that they didn’t dare to communicate with their lifeline beasts.
Because their own lifeline beasts were scared right now.

On the other hand, Jeremy uses his eye ability. He zood into the beast’s body. At the sa ti, his Supre Combat Talent ca into play. His senses were increased.
The snake beast’s body becos slow under his eyes. He can tell that the snake beast’s entire gaze is set on him. It wanted to devour him.
Jeremy’s eyes turned cold. He raises his katana forward. When the snake beast was about to hit him. He side-stepped to avoid the frontal attack.

At the sa ti, he swings his blade horizontally. The blade ca into contact with the skin of the snake beast.

It imdiately creates sparks. The starlight energy blade was able to leave behind only a horizontal scar. The blade fails to penetrate inside the skin.
Jeremy’s expression changed. But he was not surprised. That’s why he never wanted to fight against Tier-5 beasts and above.
His abilities and strength were not strong enough to kill the Tier-5 beast in a couple of moves.

Both Sinag and Ada exclaid in shock and surprise. Because they saw that Jeremy Night was fearless when facing the Tier-5 Snake beast.
He is dealing with the Tier-5 Beast like he did with the Tier-4 Beast. But the problem here is the Tier-5 Beast. It’s stronger than the Tier-4 Beast.
They also saw Jeremy’s blade attack fail to create any damage. It was only able to leave behind so sparks. Now their fear has increased.
They had thought Jeremy Night could pull up a miracle. But he was only trying his best.
"We should help him," Ada said all of a sudden.
"How?" Sinag asked.
They were both weak. In this situation, they can’t help Jeremy Night. They might beco a hindrance.
Suddenly, Sinag thought of sothing, and her expression changed. She feels confident right now.
"There is a way!" Sinag uttered.
"What?" Ada asked her.
"We can use the explosives. Leader Gisela gave the explosives to use in an ergency situation. We can do that now," Sinag explained.
Hearing that, Ada realises that they still have a trump card. They can use that. Then she thought of Charles.
She smiled and said, "That fool forgot about the trump card in panic."
Hearing that Sinag shakes her head.
She said, "It’s not ti to make a joke. Let’s help Jeremy."
On the other hand, the Tier-5 Snake missed the target. It turns around in no ti to strike the target. Jeremy, with his superior senses and eyesight, was able to evade the attack again.
But during the process, he was able to overhear their conversation. His eyes glead with a twinkle.
"Yes, there were explosives given by the Leader Gisela," He thought.
"Don’t use it now. I still want to try my best," Jeremy said in a loud tone.
Hearing that both Sinag and Ada beca speechless. They felt they had heard sothing wrong.
