Wilderness (Inner Part):
It’s been 30 minutes. The Tier-5 Scorpion had shown no sign of moving away from the place. Jeremy decides to change and go around the Corrupted beast by taking a long route.
Then he starts walking. He continues to walk. He left the place of the Tier-5 Scorpion. After crossing a couple of hundred tres, he sees another beast resting on the ground.
He would have ignored it if he weren’t familiar with the beast. Right now, he recognises the beast. It’s a Centipede. The back of the beast is red and black in colour.
Thanks to his eye ability. He was able to spot the beast from a distance. But he is facing a new problem right now. The aura coming from the beast is stronger than the scorpion’s.
"It’s trouble," Jeremy thought.
He doesn’t want to spend too much ti in this inner area. The more ti he spends here. He would co across more Tier-5 Corrupted Beasts.
Jeremy then decides to go back. He walks back on the sa route. Soon, he returns to the previous position where he saw the Scorpion beast from this distance. This ti he sees it again.
The Centipede beast is resting not far away from here. The fighting commotion could attract the beast. Jeremy didn’t expect the Tier-5 Corrupted beasts to live in this close proximity.
He then decides to use a katana blade. The bullets are limited in quality. He has decided to deal with beasts using the blade.
Then he started moving towards the scorpion. The scorpion is well over human height. It uses its ability by using the sharp stinger.
Swoosh!
When he got closer. The scorpion beast awakened. It stood up and started pointing its stinger towards him. Jeremy could see a corrosive substance dripping from the stinger.
He could understand now. How can the stinger break through any defence? If the corrosive substance touched his body, then it would lead to serious consequences.
Jeremy decided to act carefully.
Swoosh!
The scorpion beast takes initiative by darting out towards the enemy. The stinger was in its attack position. It can strike whenever it wants.
The speed was so fast. The beast appears before Jeremy Night in a flash.
Jeremy has already covered his katana blade with starlight energy. When the beast appeared. He uses his eyes and senses to predict the attack.
The beast’s movents beco slow under his eyes. The Scorpion beast thrust its stinger forward to attack. The stinger is filled with corrosive liquid.
Under his eyes, he found that a powerful stinger was getting close to its body.
Swoosh!
Jeremy moves away from the spot. He evades the deadly stinger and launches a blade strike at the scorpion beast.
The starlight blade cos into contact with the head of the scorpion beast. The next second, he felt the resistance.
Boom!
The sparks appeared.
Then Jeremy used full force to thrust the katana forward. The blade went slightly deeper inside the scorpion beast.
Puchak!
Blood erges. Seeing that, Jeremy withdrew the blade and leapt backwards to widen the gap.
The starlight blade left an injury on the beast’s forehead.
Cry!
The Scorpion beast makes a weird sound. It realised that it was injured. The attack was so close to taking away its life.
The next second, it rushed forward to attack with its movable finger. It wanted to divide the prey body into two parts.
Boom!
The fingers are striking the empty air. Jeremy Night is evading the attack using his ability. The beast is a Tier-5 Corrupted beast.
So its movent and attack speed are giving Jeremy Night a tough ti. If not for his superior senses and eye ability, he wouldn’t have survived those attacks.
But then Jeremy had no choice other than to confront the beast. So that he can continue with his journey.
Swoosh!
All of a sudden, Jeremy leaps backwards before creating a bigger gap. He found out that the beast was not deterred.
It still thinks that he is an easy prey to kill. Unless the beast suffers a serious injury. The beast won’t go away from the place.
Finally, he decides to use a handgun to target the beast’s eye.
He sheathed his katana blade and took out his hand gun. The scorpion beast still rushes out towards him.
This ti Jeremy remained in the sa spot. He raised his hand forward and locked it into the beast’s right eye.
Under his senses and eyes, the beast’s movents beco slower. When the beast ca closer towards him.
His target becos clear. He then covers the bullets with the starlight energy.
Bang!
Then he pulled a trigger. The starlight bullet shot from the gun. It speeds through the air creating booming sound.
The Scorpion beast felt a sense of crisis. But it was too late.
Puchak!
The starlight bullet goes through the right eye. The eye burst. Blood erges like a torrent of flood.
The starlight bullet didn’t stop there before striking the area of the brain. The beast felt imnse pain.
Swoosh!
The next second, the scorpion fled from the spot.
Seeing that Jeremy didn’t stop it. He wanted this result. When the beast disappeared from the place. He resud his walk to find the special herb.
He quickly left the area. He doesn’t want to face another Tier-5 Beast anyti soon. The fight would exhaust him.
He felt better facing the scorpion than the centipede. The speed and defence of the centipede are faster than the Scorpion.
He doesn’t think that if it were a centipede, it would flee sooner. But fortunately, that resting Centipede didn’t bother to co towards them.
After following the area described in the mission description. He finds a narrow creek. He decided to follow the water downstream.
The mission description says that water downstream leads to a place where the special healing herb was growing.
At the sa ti, it’s also a place where you can find more corrupted beasts. The corrupted beast part cautioned him. He doesn’t want to be surrounded by them.
After getting the special herb, he would flee from the place.
