Jeremy collected his thoughts and asked, "So what now?"
Otto felt awkward, but he replied by saying, "If you want, you could go out and patrol alone. I'll give you a special badge with permission. No one here will question you."
Hearing that, Jeremy felt it was a good deal. He said, "Okay, I'll do the patrolling alone."
Otto sighed in relief. Then he took out the badge and paper. He had already made the preparations. Seeing that, Jeremy was stunned.
He started to doubt whether the in-charge was also part of the hostile teams. He received the badge and the paper.
He looked at the badge and saw the symbol of the Beast Taming Association. So it's not fake. The old man wouldn't dare to fake it.

Jeremy left the office. After coming outside, he took out the map to check the place. He saw that the human settlent was a small place.
He could patrol the whole place in a few hours.
Jeremy then put the map back. Then he started leaving. He decided to go around the settlent's border first. There were people who watched him on his way back.
But he didn't feel any hostile intentions again. Still, he started to think that the in-charge's decision might be related to the teams.
Soon, he exited the human settlent. He walked a few hundred ters away from the place. He started using his eye ability to scan the surroundings.
He wanted to see whether anyone was following him or not.

The in-charge Otto inford the Team Leaders that Jeremy Night had gone out to patrol alone. He wouldn't be joining any teams.
Then only he sighed inwardly. He couldn't afford to ss with the teams here. At the sa ti, he couldn't offend the young man from the Shadow Moon Organisation.
He thought it was best for these people not to co across each other.
On the other hand, the various team leaders felt good. They didn't want any outsiders to be part of their team.

In a shot, he crossed the border and entered the desert forest. There were tall trees and bushes, but there were wide gaps of land between them where the sunlight reached the ground.
"Cry!"
The cry sounded again. Hearing that, Jeremy was sure of the direction this ti. He continued charging toward that place.

He crossed the open land and ca to an area where the land was a little sunken and covered with dry leaves of the trees.
Three won were tied up, and they were unconscious on the ground. Ahead, a person wearing a hoodie was carrying a woman on his back.
The woman's mouth was not covered. She was the one shouting for help. Jeremy's eyes turned cold.
He didn't expect to co across a dangerous situation so soon. That too, a criminal. Upon seeing that the person was wearing a hoodie, Jeremy used his eye ability.
His vision zood in on his back. He saw the sa back again. It was the sa person who had shown hostile intentions towards him.

The next second, he pulled the trigger. A silver bullet shot from the handgun. It sped through the air with a booming sound.

In a flash, the bullet reached the target and went through it.

A torrent of blood gushed forth from the criminal's leg. He put the woman on the ground. His face was contorted in pain. But he turned back to look at the attacker.
Then he saw the person was none other than the Beast Tar from City A. He was shocked. He was exposed right now. He couldn't move his leg.
Even if he tried to flee, he would still be attacked.
On the other hand, Jeremy ca toward him and saw that the criminal was a Tier-3 Beast Tar. The woman on the ground was unconscious but unhard.
The person in the hoodie was a middle-aged man.
Jeremy turned toward him and asked, "Why are you kidnapping these won?"
Hearing that, the middle-aged man smiled. He gave up the idea of fleeing. Right now, he stood defiant. He wasn't answering anything.
Seeing that, Jeremy knew it wouldn't be easy to make him answer.
