At midnight, none of them were sleeping inside the small cave passage. From ti to ti, they are hearing the noises from the Corrupted beasts.

Jeremy's eyes glinted with understanding. He is not going to let down his guard. He was aware of the dangers. At any ti, the corrupted beasts could find them out.

So he has to be ready to face the crisis. Sinag and Ada are trying to be fully awake. If they wanted they could summon their Lifeline beasts to guard.

But doing so would definitely alert the corrupted beasts resting on the other side.

Don't know what happened. A Tier-5 Wind Leopard about twice the height of a human adult is currently resting on the other side. Compared to other beasts it was slightly injured.

Currently, it's not bothered with other lower tier beasts. The other beasts also noticed that the wind leopard was injured. So they kept their distance from it.

If it were ordinary tis, they would have beco a snack for it. Right now, the wind leopard is recuperating. While doing that it sniffs from ti to ti.

The scent of mixture is attacking its nostrils. It's making it uncomfortable. It also slled the disgusting scent of humans. But it saw no humans inside the cave.

The Wind Leopard didn't take it seriously and continued to rest.

The lower tier beasts have started leaving the cave structure. It's been several hours since the commotion occurred.

All the big tier beasts had left the cave. The lower ones are leaving now. The Wind Leopard saw this scene. But it didn't react.

As the ti passed, the number of beasts in the cave decreased to single digits. It didn't take long for all the beasts to leave. Now the Wind Leopard alone is resting inside the cave.

The Wind Leopard suffered leg injury. Because of it, its speed has reduced. If it tries to move without rest, then the injury could be worse.

But the Wind Leopard is starting to get hungry. It's now regretting that it didn't kill the lower tier beast when there was opportunity earlier.

The teeth of leopards are as sharp as blades. The two 10 inch canine beast teeth on both sides of the jaw are especially deadly. All it needs is one bit to kill the enemy.

It doesn't matter whether it's a human or corrupted beasts. The bite would definitely lead to death.

The Wind Leopard stands up. It has red eyes distinct to the corrupted beasts. It would beco bloodthirsty whenever possible.

Once taken over by the blood instinct the beast would beco more dangerous.

The Wind Leopard starts walking back and forth inside the cave. It slowly walks out of the cave entrance. It didn't see any humans nearby.

But the scent of humans was still lingering. The sll has never been wrong. The Wind Leopard suspects the humans could be hiding.

It slowly exits the cave passage and decides to go around the cave. Just as the beast walks away from the cave, the scent of humans is gone.

The Wind Leopard was confused. It's a Tier-5 Beast. No clues hidden from its nose. Then it walked back and started to follow the scent of the humans.

The scent once again leads the Wind Leopard back to the cave passage. Upon entering inside the Wind Leopard becos serious.

It's the sa as the earlier. The scent of humans is still lingering inside the passage. Right now, it's standing in front of a pile of rocks.

The Wind Leopard casually lowers its head towards the rocks.

Sniff!

The scent of humans has beco strong. The Wind Leopard understood sothing.

It let out a thunderous roar. The sound alone shakes the cave structure. The small stones are falling from the top.

On the other hand, Jeremy, Sinag and Ada are ready to battle. The ti has co. They understood that so beast had found them.

Sinag and Ada are clueless about it. But Jeremy Night has found a clue already. He noticed the departure of so beasts earlier.

He thinks that the cave must have gained space. Their human scent is impossible to hide from the beast. He unsheathed his blade and gripped it tightly.

The Wind Leopard is removing the rocks one by one. With human-like intelligence, the Tier-5 Beast found sothing behind the pile of rocks.

As it started to remove the boulders the scent of humans increased. The Wind Leopard was convinced. It was already suffering from hunger.

The scent of humans makes it more bloodthirsty.

As ti went by, one after another the boulders were removed. The passage to the other side becos visible. The figure of humans can be seen from this side.

The Wind Leopard let out a small roar. It spotted the humans as well. It removes the boulders with the deadly claws.

When the final boulder was removed. The Tier-5 Wind Leopard was ready to charge inside.

Yet it ets with the sharp blade. The Wind Leopard quickly shifted its body. Yet it's too late. The starlight filled rust blade stabs the beast shoulder.

Pfff!

Blood sprayed on the ground. The Wind Leopard was already injured to begin with. Now the blade has stabbed its shoulder.

Jeremy Night withdrew the blade. He aid for the head. Yet the beast showed a fast response.

"Wind Leopard!"

Sinag cried from behind.

Hearing that he squinted his eyes. He was unsure of the beasts earlier. Now it's a Wind Leopard. Jeremy thinks it's going to be a tough battle.

"Careful!"

"The Wind Leopard possesses wind abilities,"Ada added from behind.

Jeremy knows about it as well. So of the Corrupted beasts have ability. They have t such a beast today.
