9th Zone, B-City
The Beast Tars from the city had joined the battle. It was now a full-fledged battle. More and more Purple Snakes erged from the forest.
The City Beast Tars fought against the Purple Snakes. From ti to ti, the Purple Snakes spat venom, which imdiately took the lives of many Beast Tars.
Neither side had the upper hand. The goal of the Beast Tars was to defend the city, while the goal of the Purple Snakes was to break the city wall.
The Beast Tars didn’t know that the higher-tier Purple Snakes had cunning plans. They were still in the earlier stage of the battle.
The injured ones were taken to a makeshift hospital and replaced by new teams.
While this was going on, the higher-tier Beast Tars were trying to kill as many Tier-5 and Tier-6 Purple Snakes as possible.
Even if one of them escaped, it could cause devastating damage to the city walls.

A giant, razor-sharp mouth bit the Tier-7 Purple Snake. The next second, the snake’s body was cleaved in two. The severed parts dropped to the ground.
The Tier-8 Crocodile charged towards the next Purple Snake.
Swoosh!
A purple beam of venom was shot at the Crocodile.
Governor Carl was behind the Lifeline Beast. He spotted the purple venom, and his face changed drastically.
He had been careful to avoid the purple venom attacks. Now, they were facing one.
"Attack!"
The Crocodile Beast was smart; it felt the danger. Without thinking further, it opened its wide mouth.
An air vortex ford in the blink of an eye. The Crocodile then shot it at the purple venom.
Boom!
In a flash, both attacks collided. The air vortex was bigger than the purple venom beam. It was also an attack from a Tier-8 Beast.
The air vortex quickly neutralized the purple venom. Purple venom drops splattered across the forests.
So of them fell on the lower-tier Purple Snakes. They imdiately beca immobile because of the overwhelming poison.
The green vegetation surrounding them was poisoned. It turned to ashes in the blink of an eye.
The Purple Snakes near them fled. The area beca vacant in an instant.
The scent of the poison still covered the place and lingered.
At the sa ti, other venom drops landed on the green patches; the ground began to corrode because of the purple venom drops.
At that mont, the Tier-8 Crocodile went to attack again. Its huge body got near the Purple Snake, and it struck with its tail.
Boom!
The Tier-7 Purple Snake tried to evade, but the Crocodile struck it.
Pfff!
The Purple Snake was swept away by the force. The snake was hurled through the air before crashing into the woods.
Governor Carl’s eyes flashed with relief. But he and his Lifeline Beast were getting tired. It was ti for other Tier-8 Beast Tars to enter the forest.
He could see Governor Black and the Rhino’s back. They were one step ahead, deep into the wilderness.
Then he turned towards the sky. Governor Chloe was on her Snowtail Sparrow. They were attacking from the sky.
"Governor Chloe!" Carl shouted.
Governor Chloe heard the sound. She turned towards Carl and commanded her sparrow to move towards him.
Swoosh!
In a flash, the sparrow reached above his head.
"Governor Chloe, we need more Tier-7 and Tier-8 Beast Tars in the woods," he said.
Hearing that, Chloe understood. They were the ones who were resting right now, whereas the Family Heads were fighting on the walls.
Swoosh!
She left with her sparrow the next second. She quickly flew over to the city wall. She saw that Tier-8 Beast Tars were dealing with the Tier-6 Purple Snakes.
A hint of anger appeared in her eyes. They were the heads of the various families.
"What are you doing?"
"Tier-8 Beast Tars, co with to deal with the Tier-7 Purple Snakes."
"Those who stay behind will face consequences later!" After saying that, Chloe ordered her sparrow to fly over to the forest again.
Her words reached everyone’s ears. It was like a wake-up call. So of them imdiately followed her.
Others didn’t like it, but they didn’t want to face consequences. It was already embarrassing for them to kill Tier-6 Beasts while being Tier-8 Beast Tars.
So they had to target Tier-7 Purple Snakes instead, who were calling the shots for the Purple Snakes. Once they were dead, the current fight could be stopped.
Swoosh!
In the blink of an eye, all the Tier-8 Beast Tars entered the forest. So of them realized that if they didn’t act now, their family Beast Tars could die in large numbers.
The purple venom was still catching a few of them off guard, taking the lives of many Beast Tars in a single surprise attack.
When they left, the fight against the Tier-6 Beasts was left to the Tier-7 Beast Tars on the city wall.
They felt added pressure on them, but they too understood that it was necessary to take down the Tier-7 Purple Snakes first.
The three City Governors couldn’t do it alone. It would take a long ti for them.
anwhile, Jeremy Night had recovered sowhat from using his starlight power in an hour. But he wanted his ntal zone to be filled.
He didn’t know whether he could avail himself of the facility next ti, so he wanted to utilize it fully.
One hour later,
He walked out of the practice room. The previous city guard was nowhere to be seen. He went outside and looked for the store.
He could see the makeshift hospitals on both sides of the streets. Since he was using the administration building, he could ask for firearms here.
Even if he didn’t have matching bullets, he could use their firearms instead. It didn’t take long for him to find the city guards near the makeshift hospital.
His arrival startled them. The city guards there could see a black aura forming around the young Tier-2 Beast Tar.
Jeremy didn’t waste his ti. He told them his purpose: he needed firearms urgently. The City guards were surprised. Firearms were the most useless things during the battle.
