Jeremy Night recognized Elder Matteo. He thought the middle-aged man next to him must be the Family Head of the Rossi Family.
His eyesight was clear. He could see their facial expressions in great detail. They were terrified of sothing.
Swoosh!
They flew over the city in the blink of an eye.
Not long after, many beast tars returned to the city. They were all heads of the various Beast Taming Families.
They stood in mid-air one by one.
Jeremy Night was not the only one here. The other City Guard teams noticed the situation as well.
They were Tier-8 Beast Tars. Why were they coming back in a hurry? Everyone was confused.
At this ti, Jeremy had a bad feeling. He thought sothing was going to happen next.
The City Guards, Captains, and Commanders were defending the city walls.
Right now, they didn’t know what to do. They were all waiting for the City Governors to return.
Swoosh!
Just then, a Snow Tail Sparrow appeared in the sky. Governor Chloe was standing on its back. She was leading a few more beast tars back to the city.
All the flying-type Lifeline Beasts entered the city. This caused panic among the city guards.
Shortly afterwards, Governor Black and Carl returned with their Lifeline Beasts.
Once they got closer to the city, they recalled their Lifeline Beasts and flew over to the city wall.
"What’s going on?"
"Why are the Governors back?"
"Is there going to be another invasion?"
The city guards started panicking. The Captains and Commanders were confused as well.
On the other hand, City Governors Black, Carl, and Chloe were standing in mid-air, high above the city.
From there, they could look down at the forest clearly. The Family Beast Tars were standing behind them.
There was a reason for their return. The Blood Steel Mosquitoes had flight abilities. If they were late, the Blood Steel Mosquitoes would have entered the city.
In order to protect the city, they had to co back first. Now they were standing inside the city.
Governors Black, Chloe, and Carl saw that the front lines had collapsed. They couldn’t stop the chaos. The Blood Steel Mosquitoes and Vine Beasts would try to enter the city first.
At that mont, Jeremy Night saw sothing in the forest. At first, he was not sure, but with his eyesight, he found out what it was.
An insect-type beast was coming toward the city wall.
"Mosquito." His eyes glinted with understanding.
"Everyone, get back!" Jeremy shouted the next second.
Hearing that, City Guard Ben and the others were taken aback. But they didn’t hesitate further and retreated back to the city wall.
"What happened?" Tom asked.
Jeremy Night didn’t know whether it was okay to tell. His shout just now had alerted the others as well. The others nearby retreated after seeing them run.
Even Commander Bolton heard the sound. He thought that kid saw sothing, so he looked toward the forest.
It didn’t take long for him to see the outline of the beasts. A three-ter-sized Blood Steel Mosquito appeared in his sight.
Bolton’s expression changed drastically.
"Everyone get inside, ASAP!"
Bolton shouted. His voice reached everyone’s ears. The next second, the city guards gave up the front line and started running back to the city gate.
Commotion!
The commotion was huge. They didn’t know what was going on, but everyone heard the voice and started running back to the city gate.
At that ti, Jeremy Night noticed the Blood Steel Mosquitoes getting closer to the city.
City Guard Ben said, "Let’s go back. We can discuss it after entering the city."
Tom, Dan, lody, and Kara nodded their heads and started going back. They had asked Jeremy to follow them.
After rushing off, they forgot to check whether Jeremy Night was following them or not.
Jeremy Night was following them back slowly because he could see others were struggling. Especially the injured ones; they were taking ti.
But the Blood Steel Mosquitoes had erged from the forests. When he noticed the strength of the Blood Steel Mosquitoes, his expression changed drastically.
It was a Tier-5 Corrupted Beast. Jeremy Night’s heart stirred.
If this beast were to attack them, the entire front line would collapse. He had heard about the Blood Steel Mosquitoes.
But he didn’t expect them to attack now. He took his handgun and held it in his right hand.
At this ti, City Guard Ben and the others saw the Blood Steel Mosquitoes. Everyone’s face changed drastically.
"Blood Steel Mosquitoes!"
Ben and the others were terrified. They increased their speed. It was not the ti to discuss. They ran past others to get to the entrance.
Jeremy Night’s gaze locked onto the Tier-5 Mosquito. He covered the bullets in starlight power.
At the sa ti, Commander Bolton noticed Jeremy Night’s actions. He was shocked. While others were running, the kid stayed behind to confront the beast.
He felt goosebumps all over his body.
Swoosh!
The next second, he jumped from the city walls and appeared next to the kid.
"Kid, let’s both target the beast." After saying that, he took out his bow and arrow to attack.
Hearing that, Jeremy was surprised. He nodded to him.
Bang! Bang!
The next second, he started firing shots.
Swoosh!
Bolton released a series of arrows toward the beast.
Both aid for the beast’s head. But Jeremy Night targeted the eyes specifically.
The starlight bullets and arrows cut through the air. In the blink of an eye, they struck the beast’s head, and the bullets pierced through the eyes.
Weird Noise!
Puchak!
Blood splattered on the ground. The mosquito made a weird sound.
Its whole body defense was like steel, yet the eyes were vulnerable. The starlight power made it blind.
But the starlight power failed to end its life. At the sa ti, the arrows cracked the steel-like head. But the attack was not enough.
Pfff!
The Blood Steel Mosquito circled in the air in pain. It gave them so ti to rethink.
