Wilderness
A few minutes later, a veteran Beast Tar began leading the team of Beast Tars to seek help from the nearest city.
The Beast Tars are from the passengers and crew.
They were all flying on the backs of their lifeline beasts. In the blink of an eye, they disappeared from everyone’s sight.
Then, everyone’s attention shifted back to the forest. The Tier-5 Dark Green Scorpion was still not making a move.
As ti went by, the tension rose.
Captain Colt Hardin and the others were worried that there could be Tier-6 beasts behind the attack. Their eyes scanned the surroundings.
On the other hand, Jeremy Night was observing the situation just like everyone else. He had observed what happened a few minutes ago.
A team of Beast Tars had left the place on their flying-type corrupted beasts. He thought they were likely going to ask for assistance from the nearest city.
Screech!
All of a sudden, a terrible sound alerted him.
He turned around and saw massive beasts, over 5 ters in size, erging from the vegetation. There were more than ten Tier-5 Corrupted Beasts.
They had entered from all sides. However, the numbers on the Beast Tar side had reduced, as so of them had already left.
Now, they were going to face the Tier-5 Dark Green Scorpions.
Captain Colt Hardin and the rest of the veteran Beast Tars took direct action. They intended to kill all the beasts before any casualties appeared on their side.
Jeremy Night had a tight grip on his blade. There was a Tier-5 Scorpion coming in his direction.
It was one thing to fight against Tier-3 and Tier-4 Corrupted Beasts, but Tier-5 Corrupted Beasts were different. Their size and attacks were powerful.
Jeremy thought that an attack from a Tier-5 Scorpion could hurt even the Tier-6 Captain Colt.
Boom!
Suddenly, a few of the seniors took action before him. To them, he was still just a Tier-2 Beast Tar.
"You can cross-kill, but leave the Tier-5 Corrupted Beast to us," an old man said before rushing past him.
He charged toward the Tier-5 Scorpion. Hearing that, Jeremy didn’t react. He was not reckless. Unless he was forced to, he wouldn’t take chances against the scorpion.
If needed, he would provide assistance from behind.
Boom! Boom!
Ti went by, and the veterans were gaining the upper hand against the Tier-5 beasts. From ti to ti, the scorpion made a sudden attack, but with their massive experience, the tars avoided the deadly stinger

7th Zone, City F:
anwhile,
The Beast Taming team went to look for help. They reached the city an hour later. It was City F, a big city in the 7th Zone.
The size of City F alone was massive compared to the cities in the 8th, 9th, and 10th Zones.
The arrival of the Beast Taming Teams on flying-type beasts shocked the city guards. It didn’t take long for the City Governors to co out and learn what had happened.
They were all shocked. Like other cities, City F had three City Governors as well. The heads of various forces were also present.
Everyone learned about the situation and decided to lend a hand because they understood that an attack from a Tier-5 Scorpion wouldn’t be simple.
There could be Tier-6 beasts behind it. The Tier-7 Beast Tars and so Tier-8 Beast Tars, who were heads of the Beast Taming Forces, left the city imdiately with the team.
Among the three City Governors, two of them joined as well. The City F wilderness was filled with threats, so they needed to rescue the others before anything worse happened.
anwhile,
The remaining Tier-5 Scorpions were going to die. Jeremy Night didn’t have to make any moves from the beginning.
They were going to win, but none of them were happy. Jeremy Night had a feeling that sothing was not right.
They were traveling from the 10th Zone to the 5th Zone by flight. The threat level should have been high, right? Yet, they hadn’t faced a life-threatening crisis so far.
Screech!
"Everyone back off!"
Jeremy heard a terrific sound and the voice of Captain Colt. He retreated without thinking any further.
After retreating a couple of ters, he raised his head and saw a towering tree. Beside the tree, a beast over 6 ters tall walked in casually.
The size of the beast was taller than the trees themselves.
Jeremy Night and the others imdiately felt a sense of oppression. He felt it even more intensely. He had once escaped from the clutches of a Tier-6 beast.
At that ti, the Tier-6 beast hadn’t made any effort to catch him. Otherwise, he would have faced a crisis long before.
Now, he was facing such a crisis again. This ti, the threat level was high. Everyone felt it. If they didn’t do anything, they could really die.
Pfff!
A Tier-5 Beast Tar and his lifeline beast were cleaved into two halves by pincers all of a sudden.
Swoosh!
The speed was so fast that everyone failed to sense it. The beast didn’t stop there. It shot toward the nearby Tier-5 Beast Tars and their lifeline beasts.
All of them were veterans.
Pfff!
In a flash, mutilated corpses could be seen on the ground.
Captain Colt Hardin’s face changed drastically. He imdiately went forward to attack. He didn’t hold back.
The four-legged hybrid tiger beast beside him darted toward the target as well.
On the other hand, Jeremy Night gripped his blade handle even more tightly. He was using his eye ability, yet it was hard for him to track the beast.
He could only see blurs in front of his eyes. He imdiately removed any lingering thoughts about engaging the beast.
He could not even see the beast. How could he fight against it? Moreover, his senses were being overwheld. He stood rooted to the spot like a statue.
He then saw a massive tiger type lifeline beast of similar size attacking the Scorpion. His gaze then fell on Captain Colt. It imdiately brought him a sense of relief.
