The blade cut through the bodies of the rat beasts. In a flash, a torrent of blood gushed forth from the blade wounds all over the beasts’ bodies.
The rat beasts’ eyes dimd as they lost their lives.
Their bodies crashed to the ground the next second. All of this happened within seconds.
The killers were dumbfounded. Before they could fathom what had just happened...
Scream!
All three of them let out a blood-curdling scream. Because of their lifeline beasts’ deaths, their ntal zones were crushed.
Blood leaked from their mouths and orifices. The destruction of the ntal zone brought a backlash. It happened imdiately.
Pfff!
The killers coughed up mouthfuls of blood before fainting on the ground.
Jeremy sheathed his blade before arriving in front of them. He imdiately checked their forearms. He saw a tattoo of a dark tree.
His expression darkened. He thought it was another criminal organization targeting the Red Moon Chamber mbers.
Slit!
His eyes turned cold. He once again unsheathed his blade and slit their throats. In a flash, a red line appeared on all three of their necks.
The light in their eyes dimd, and they lost their lives.
Jeremy’s expression was grim. Killing was forbidden inside the city. But he was forced to silence them. He sheathed his blade before disappearing from the place.
Swoosh!
He didn’t have ti to dispose of their corpses. He believed that soone would co later.
Shortly afterwards,
A passerby found the dead corpses in the middle of the road. He quickly notified the city officials. The city office was already under fire for the latest incident.
Upon hearing about a killing inside the city, the higher-ups got angry. They believed that soone wanted to fish in muddy waters.
How could they let it happen? If the news leaked, it would arouse public anger. The city governors would be under further pressure.
So, the higher-ups imdiately sent a team to retrieve the corpses. Under 30 minutes, the team cleared out the area and retrieved the bodies.
Since it happened at night, not many people knew about it. The passerby didn’t have the guts to offend the city office, so they were not going to leak the news.
When the corpses were brought back to the city office, the higher-ups ca to inspect the bodies.
When everyone saw the dark tattoo mark on their forearms, the faces of everyone changed drastically. Blood drained from the faces of the higher-ups.
"Damn it!"
"Quickly inform the City Governors," one of the higher-ups shouted.
Hearing that, two people left to inform the City Governors.

The City Governors had started taking action against illegal activities. It didn’t matter whether the organization had offended them or not.
The City Governors were using the opportunity to clear out other naces inside the city. They didn’t want other criminal organizations to cross the red line.
The Human Alliance knew about their situation here. They didn’t make their lives difficult after hearing the reports. They knew about the backer behind the criminal organization.
Unfortunately, the backer was one of the strongest pillars of the Human Alliance. Currently, the person led a team to explore an unexplored region.
It was impossible for them to target the person. For them, the greater picture was important. So, they let go of the current issue and told the governors to appease the public anger.
The three City Governors were happy that they didn’t get any punishnt. Right at this mont, soone ca to inform them.
Governors Leon, Orion, and Martin heard the news from their office mbers. Three of their faces darkened. They imdiately left the place and went to the other office.
They entered the office and ca to the room where the corpses were placed. No one was allowed except them and the elders.
Governor Orion crouched down and observed the dark tree tattoo with careful eyes.
Governors Leon and Martin were checking the clothes. None of them spoke.
Governor Orion stood up and told the elders to destroy the corpses and leave behind no evidence.
He ordered them to investigate the matter. The appearance of these people was already huge news. But soone dared to kill them.
It was more shocking than the appearance of the Tier-6 Corrupted Beast. The Governors exchanged looks.
They left the place and quickly returned to their own offices. They barred anyone from entering without permission.
The three of them sat in their chairs with fearful expressions.
"What’s going on?"
"How did these people appear here?" Leon asked.
"It appears we clearly didn’t do a good job. Things are going out of our hands," Martin said with a bitter smile.
"That person went to an unexplored area. Then how co his organization mbers appeared here?"
"Do they want to get revenge for the Skull Gang Organisation?"
"It’s not even a third-rate organization," Martin added.
Governor Orion’s eyes flickered.
"That person had indeed entered the unexplored area. But he must have left behind so instructions. That’s why his organization is taking action now?"
"We should report this to the Human Alliance. If we don’t do anything about it, then Darkshade Tree Gate will destroy our city," Orion said in a cold tone.
Hearing that, the others agreed. When they saw the dark tree tattoo, they imdiately understood that they could not handle this matter.
Governor Orion didn’t waste ti. He connected a call with the higher-ups of the Human Alliance and told them about the incident.
The appearance of the Darkshade Tree Gate once again caught officials off guard. Because it was the organization of the backer. But this organization was banned by the Human Alliance.
If not for the person’s contribution to the Human Alliance, the organization and their mbers would have been wiped out a long ti ago.
But still, it didn’t give them the right to appear in the city. Not only did they appear without permission, but soone killed them. Which was even more incredible.
The higher-ups then inford other important elders. They were all Tier-9 Beast Tars. A few of them were retired behind the scenes. So others were in seclusion.
But those who were present right now agreed not to make the news public. They would ask everything once the person returned.
