After buying the life-saving items from the site, he arrived in the wilderness. Here, he can start doing the solo mission without worry.
For this mission, he has to go deeper to find those treasure plants.
Due to a previous mission of a similar type, he was able to gather so knowledge regarding the plant. He was not ignorant anymore.
He quickly found the direction and started traveling toward it. It is still dayti. He is using his eye ability to avoid trouble.
It didn't take long for him to get deeper inside the wilderness.
By following his eyesight, he diverted from the main path, creating his own path to go deeper. He is using his katana blade to cut down the leaves to move forward.

At noon, he ca to the core area. This place is rich with resources. At the sa ti, the presence of corrupted beasts is high.
Without using his eye ability, he could feel many powerful auras. So, he is acting low-key so as not to attract the attention of others.
Then, he started looking for the treasure plants. During the journey, he ca across a few useful plants.
He had already collected those plants, but they were not ntioned in the mission description. He can only sell them privately.

Jeremy was surprised because the scorching daylight was making the surface hot, yet this particular place was wet. He couldn't understand it.

He was looking at the place when suddenly, his sense of crisis shot up. He felt sothing from the ground beneath. He knew sothing was wrong.

The next second, his body shifted from the spot. The ground in front of him cracked. The crack started to expand further.
A huge worm beast popped out from the cracked surface. The size of the beast was 20 feet.
The whole body of the beast was covered in yellow-colored mucous liquid. Jeremy felt a threat from the mucous liquid.
He imdiately touched his scabbard. Then, he unsheathed his blade.
The huge worm beast turned towards him. Jeremy tried to sense the strength of the beast. The worm beast was showing strength above Tier-4.
Boom!
The monstrous worm beast moved towards him. A quick gleam flashed in Jeremy Night's eyes. He held the katana blade tightly.
Swoosh!
In a flash, he avoided the huge body of the worm. He side-stepped and swung the blade at the worm beast.
The blade cut through the side of the beast's body. The size of the body was so huge that the katana blade left behind only a small cut.
Puchak!
More yellowish liquid erged from the wound.
Boom!
The massive body of the worm beast landed on the ground. A huge, deep pit appeared.
Sshshh!
The yellowish mucous liquid and blood touched the ground. They started to corrode the green patches. It showed how dangerous that mucous liquid was.
Jeremy Night retreated closer to the tree. He saw the corrosive nature of the mucous liquid.
Now he knew the strength of the worm beast: it was a Tier-5 Corrupted beast. It is not easy to kill a worm beast; they have high survivability even if they are cut into pieces.
Jeremy felt more auras moving closer towards their spot. He couldn't stay here anymore. He looked ahead and used "Explosive Steps" to vacate the place.
Swoosh!
Jeremy went deeper and disappeared into the thick forest. He is using his eye ability to check whether the beasts are following him or not.
The worm beast didn't follow him; instead, it disappeared back into the crack.
He realized that it was the territory of the worm beast. He had stepped inside its territory unknowingly. Now that he had left the place, the worm beast didn't have a reason to chase him.
Jeremy then found a suitable place to rest. Only a few hours were left until evening.
He is now at the designated area, but the place is also a habitat for different types of corrupted beasts. He had already learned his lesson.
Next, he has to find the treasure plant ntioned in the mission description. He started using the second eye ability, which grants him X-ray vision.

He is using X-ray vision to scan the whole place. He found the location of the treasure plants. There is a low, sunken land filled with dense green vegetation.
Jeremy didn't go there right away. He stopped in his position and started observing the terrain with his X-ray vision.
He sees bright crimson flowers. The fan-shaped petals are so unique that it is easy to recognize these treasure plants.
Jeremy sighed in relief. The flowers are in large quantities, but he is only going to pluck a few of them.
Then, his X-ray gave him a vision of a corrupted beast hidden underneath the ground. Jeremy Night's heart skipped a beat.
From the appearance of the beast, he confird that the beast was a snake.
The snake beast was over 25 feet long. He knew a fight would break out if he got near the crimson flowers.
Jeremy thinks that these flowers are different from the other treasure plants; other plants didn't have corrupted beasts guarding them.
Here, a terrifying snake beast is guarding the small, sunken land. Jeremy is weighing his options.
If he skips the area, then he will have to spend more ti in the wilderness. If he takes the risk here to defeat the snake beast, then he can complete the mission with ease.
The sky is getting dark. It is evening. If he delays more, then night will co. It is even harder to fight the corrupted beasts at night.
The confrontation earlier drew other corrupted beasts living nearby. If a fight happens here, more corrupted beasts will definitely co.
Jeremy is hesitating. In the end, he decided to spend more ti in the wilderness. He decided to see whether he can find other similar spots.
