Dark Swamp
Jeremy didn’t waste ti. He didn’t want anyone to escape, so he took the handgun from the case. Then, he started covering the bullets with the starlight thread.
He didn’t have to get closer to them. All he had to do was find a perfect spot to shoot. He looked around and found a place. From here, he could get a good aim at them.
If he got closer, there was a possibility their lifeline beasts would alert them. He didn’t want such a thing to happen.
In his X-ray vision, he saw that all five of them were grouped together. They were chatting and laughing. They had forgotten about outside threats.
"They wouldn’t have dreamt that I would be here," Jeremy thought.
Next, he took aim at them and was ready to shoot.
Bang! Bang!
The next second, he fired five continuous shots aiming at their heads. Five white streaks of light traveled in a straight line.
Puchak!
One after another, the bullets punctured the heads of the Beast Tars. Until the mont of death, they didn’t know what had happened.
Their deaths were quick. In the blink of an eye, all five of their bodies dropped dead to the ground.
Jeremy heaved a sigh of relief. It had taken planning, fleeing, and then planning again before finding them.
Now, he had dealt with them. He needed to verify the death of the Tier-6 Beast Tar. If the person got back, he could bring back reinforcents. He didn’t want that to happen.
Furthermore, one of his abilities had been exposed. They had seen him using the bullets.
So far, he had targeted and eliminated the higher-tier beasts, not the higher-tier Beast Tars.
This ti, he had killed Tier-5 Beast Tars. If the Tier-6 Beast Tar escaped, he could face attacks from the Darkshade organization.
Fortunately, the mission had a five-day limit. He still had ti. It was just a survey mission; he didn’t have to kill the beast.
Then, he made a decision before disposing of the corpses into the swamp. All five of their corpses sank deep into the swamp. The swamp had water-type beasts as well; they would consu the corpses.
Swoosh!
He followed the previous route and soon ca to the poisonous land. He didn’t step into that land. In his X-ray vision, he could see the green smoke still coming out from the land.
If he went inside, he would be poisoned quickly. He saw many corrupted beasts poisoned to death. Then, he made a detour and started looking for the Red Lizard and the Tier-6 Spider.
Its massive body was easy to find. With his eyesight, he didn’t have to aimlessly roam.
Ti went by.
He ca across Beast Tars and corrupted beasts, but he avoided them. The Beast Tars were taken aback by the appearance of the poisonous land.
Jeremy didn’t know whether anyone had suffered casualties. It had been an hour since he started wandering around the poisonous land.
Finally, he saw two small hills. But he knew those were not hills. His X-ray vision told him otherwise. He went there to check.
When he got there, he was stunned. The massive corpse of the Red Lizard was lying on the ground. Then, his gaze shifted to the massive spider.
The Tier-6 spider that had chased him was dead now. Its whole body was cracked and bloodied.
It must have taken blows from the Red Lizard. But the Red Lizard didn’t have any body injuries; instead, there was a change in the color of the flesh. He could tell that the Red Lizard had been poisoned.
Gulp!
He swallowed his own saliva. He knew the poison of the Tier-6 Spider was terrifying, but to witness such a thing in front of his eyes was sothing else.
Jeremy then didn’t go near the spider corpse; the lingering poison was still in the air. He wanted to find the corpse of the Tier-6 Beast Tar.
It didn’t take long for him to find the corpse. He was dead. It appeared he had received injuries before dying from a backlash.
The backlash and injuries must have hastened his death. Now, he didn’t have to do anything. He had eliminated everyone.
Swoosh!
Jeremy then left the place. He needed to complete the mission before going back to the city.
A day later, Jeremy Night entered the city. He imdiately boarded an air cab to reach the Association.
Twenty minutes later, he got there. After entering the Association, he went to the mission submission hall. He didn’t find the middle-aged man there, which saved him trouble.
Then, he told another staff mber there about his mission. He gave his report, and the dark swamp details were collected.
He was then told that soone would verify the information, and then the points would be credited to his account.
Jeremy Night left the Association. He boarded another cab and was on his way to the Red Moon Chamber. He reached the Red Moon Chamber in another 20 minutes.
He didn’t et anyone but went directly to his room. Only then did he feel his heart at ease. He didn’t take a bath; he just rested on the bed.
That evening, Jeremy woke up. He felt better than before. This wilderness mission had put his life at risk. He didn’t know who had hired them to target him.
Fortunately, he knew about the Darkshade mbers before. He had already been to their hideout and knew their main work related to beast-organ export. But he didn’t expect them to accept a kill task as well.
...
anwhile, Tyson Hill was doing his regular activities. He had forgotten about the Tier-3 Beast Tar and the Red Moon Chamber. Since his father had spoken that day, he believed that the Tier-3 Beast Tar wouldn’t be alive.
On the other hand, Robert Hill was the sa. He forgot about the matter after hiring the Darkshade mbers for the job. He didn’t even bother to follow up. He knew the reputation of the Darkshade organization.
They were a professional dark organization, not like criminal gangs. Even the Governors had to be wary of them. But both the father and son would soon know how naive they were.
