10th Zone, City-A
Red Moon Chamber
"Kid, you should beco stronger and gain fa. Then you will get a chance to enter the top three zones."
"Then we may have a chance to open another branch," Neil said.
Hearing that, Jeremy was stunned. Even Gisela was taken aback. She thought it must be the ambition of the two Elders.
They both were Tier-8 Beast Tars; if they got a chance to step into the top three zones, they might get a chance to beco Tier-9 Beast Tars.
Tier-9 Beast Tars are given imnse value by the Human Alliance. If their organization had even one Tier-9 Beast Tar, they could have the Human Alliance as their backing.
Gisela quickly connected the dots. Jeremy made it his main goal to enter the top three zones. He thought only the resources in the top three zones could make his unknown egg hatch faster.
Then they spoke about a few other topics. Jeremy eventually left the organization and returned to his ho.
At ho, he had a conversation with his parents. Then, he isolated himself to practice the "blade one move."
He believed that the blade one move and starlight power could hurt a Tier-6 beast, so he wanted to improve his blade skills further. He wanted to achieve mastery of the interdiate skill. He locked himself in practice.
Both Ron and Nora were surprised. They didn’t expect Jeremy Night not to take a rest and to practice here as well. They didn’t know the threats their son faced. Knowing that their son was practicing, they didn’t disturb him.
Ti Passed
Back in the ho setup, he felt his mind was a lot clearer. He was able to comprehend more.
He analyzed his blade one move practice and self-corrected. His understanding of the blade one move beca deeper.
That night, he ended the practice. He showered before putting on comfortable clothes. He had practiced for more than six hours.
He had thought of taking a rest earlier, but he ended up practicing for more than six hours and even then, he was not satisfied.
He wanted to practice his own starlight thread attack. In order to manipulate multiple threads, he needed to master the control.
It would take a lot of ti. Since he was going to be here for a week, he wanted to improve his attack techniques and movent thods.
Days Passed
His progress in sword skills and his self-developed starlight thread concept was going well.
Earlier, he had wanted to take a break and do so missions in the wilderness, but he was engrossed in practicing and self-correcting his mistakes.
Six days after leaving the 5th Zone, his sword skills further deepened in the interdiate stage. He could control and perform multiple strikes and handle the distance between himself and the enemy.
He had self-practiced all of this. He didn’t expect his sword skills to improve this directly. Sothing that would usually take months had now been completed in over six days.
Jeremy thought it had to do with the environnt. He was a lot more relaxed compared to the 5th Zone, which put his mind at ease. Then, he was able to put all his concentration into practice.
Seeing his efforts, both his father and mother didn’t disturb him. He had made the right decision to co here; otherwise, he would have missed out on such an opportunity.
If he were in the 5th Zone, it might have taken a few more months to reach this level. Not only did he improve his sword skills, but he could also control more than one starlight thread at the sa ti.
But the result was not entirely satisfactory. He could not bend them as per his wish. He was only able to do a lot more with a single starlight thread.
If he could stay here for a few more weeks, he might achieve a big transformation. However, his unknown beast egg would suffer.
Ever since he had co here, his lifeline beast hadn’t actively absorbed the natural energy.
It was as if it had grown accustod to the environnt in the 5th Zone. He had to return for his lifeline beast egg. His biggest fear was the state of his lifeline beast.
His lifeline beast was still in the egg state. If sothing happened, he could end up crippled. He didn’t want that to happen. Though he was unwilling, he decided to return tomorrow.
That night, he had a chat with his father and mother at dinner. Both knew their son would leave tomorrow.
Apart from dinner and lunch ti, he spent most of his ti practicing. He hadn’t even visited the Red Moon Chamber after that first day.
He had even received a call from Leader Gisela. He told her that he was busy practicing. Knowing that, she didn’t disturb him.
"Son, what happened to your lifeline beast?" Nora asked.
Hearing that, Ron turned toward his son. Only they knew the secret and the urgency behind their son wanting to develop in the top 5 zones.
Jeremy sighed and said, "It’s still in the egg stage. I don’t know when it will hatch. But it didn’t absorb much natural energy here. So I have to return. Only when the beast gets a breakthrough can I get the feedback," he added.
Gasp!
Both Ron and Nora gasped in surprise. They were shocked by the abnormality of their son’s lifeline beast.
"It was a lifeti treasure of Lord Martha’s friend. Of course, it won’t be ordinary. The beast’s bloodline might be higher than we thought," Ron said with a sigh.
"To think it can provide feedback even at the egg stage. What would happen if it grows?" Nora asked. She couldn’t even imagine the power of the beast.
Jeremy was not surprised by his parents’ reaction. Even he had imagined the scenarios multiple tis. If he had the assistance of the beast, he would have killed those killers faster.
Then they talked about a few other things. After finishing dinner, he went back to his room.
The Following Day
Jeremy Night packed his things. He was going to the Red Moon Chamber to et Head Harold and the others. Then, he would go to the airport.
He spoke with his parents. They wanted to drop him off at the airport, but he rejected the offer and told them his plan.
Knowing that he was going to the Red Moon Chamber first, they let him go.
