5th Zone, City A

The next morning, Head Harold summoned Jeremy Night. After getting ready, Jeremy left his room and went to et him.

Office room

Both of them sat opposite each other. Head Harold found that Jeremy Night looked calm and composed, as usual. He went straight to the point.

"Kid, I have a task for you. You have to retrieve an object from the wilderness of City B," Harold said.

"Wilderness of City B?" Jeremy was taken aback.

"Yes, City B. News of a relic being discovered in the wilderness is spreading everywhere. We do trade business as well. If you can get the item back, it would be a huge contribution," he added.

Jeremy's eyes flashed with understanding.

Apart from the wilderness, they handled trading business as well, including the trading of important tals, ores, treasure plants, and other items.

If the item was important, it could sell for good money.

"Okay," Jeremy replied.

Harold smiled, then he thought of sothing.

He said, "Don't think the mission will be easy. The forces here may not be interested in the item because we don't know if the relic's existence is true or not."

"But the local forces in City B might be looking for it. You have to be careful of them. If they pose a threat to you, then you should find a place and eliminate them in the wilderness."

"Don't take action in the city. If you do that, it will be difficult to protect you," Head Harold added.

Jeremy was not stupid. He understood the implications. "When should I leave?" he asked.

"You can leave right now. If you have any trouble, you can contact with your device. The communication network between the two cities is strong," Harold reminded him.

Hearing that, Jeremy nodded his head. He thanked Harold before leaving. He went back to his room and sorted out his inventory.

He had the basic necessities, including items for safety. There were two complete sets of combat armor as well.

He had long since stopped using them, but he knew their importance. Wearing battle armor could save his life.

Specifically, the fight he witnessed between the two Tier-6 Beasts had been enormous. It had affected the environnt and overturned the land.

Fortunately, he was able to escape that ti, but he couldn't count on being lucky every ti. If he had armor, it could save him.

He made arrangents before leaving, packing everything into his storage ring.

20 minutes later

He left the organization and was on his way to the airport.

He didn't have ti to see Sister linda, but he texted her. Soon, he reached the airport. He completed the check-in process in an hour before boarding the flight to City B.

However, he didn't know his arrival and departure were noticed by inforrs of the Darkshade mbers.

It didn't take long for the Team Leader, Jeffery, to learn the news. He was surprised. He wondered why the target was at the airport.

He knew the target was going sowhere, but it would take ti for them to find out the details.

They couldn't follow the target imdiately. Their orders were to eliminate the target in the wilderness. They could only monitor the target in the city; they couldn't take action there.

Jeffery told the mbers to continue their work. There was no need to make contact with the target yet; otherwise, they would be exposed. If the Red Moon Chamber found out, it would be troubleso.

anwhile, Head Harold was in his office. A middle-aged man wearing glasses entered the room. Upon seeing him, Harold raised his head.

"Stephen, did you find anything?" he asked.

Stephen was the elder of the departnt responsible for the organization's intelligence gathering. He was a Tier-7 Beast Tar.

"Head, you were right. There were a few tails who followed young Jeremy Night to the airport," Stephen said.

Hearing that, Harold was not surprised. "Did you find them?"

"Our n chased them to the wilderness, but they disappeared," Stephen replied.

Stephen was responsible for other matters and wasn't personally involved; instead, he had sent n from his departnt. They had done their job.

Harold frowned. He knew Jeremy had a conflict with the Hill Family. He had thought they gave up, but it appeared they hadn't.

"Stephen, send a few people to keep an eye on the Hill Family. Jeremy Night had a conflict with their young master. They could move against him," he said.

Stephen nodded his head before leaving. Once he was gone, Harold's eyes turned cold. Since they had decided to invest in Jeremy Night, it was their job to protect him and his family.

They had taken care of the family's safety, but the situation here was different. They couldn't have soone always following Jeremy; it would be detrintal to his growth.

He pushed down his thoughts.

..

5th Zone, City B

A few days later

The fortified flight landed in City B. Jeremy Night once again felt the lack of natural energy here. The airport was smaller than the one in City A. As the flight ca to a halt, the passengers started leaving one by one.

Jeremy was among them. Seeing the city, he raised his eyebrows in surprise.

City B was smaller than City A, but compared to the 10th Zone, City B was a lot bigger. He was interested in exploring the wilderness here.

20 minutes later

He walked out of the airport. He approached a cab driver and asked about a good hotel. The driver was enthusiastic; he was connected to one of the famous hotels nearby.

Jeremy told him to drop him there. The car driver was happy. He received good custors.

Jeremy then entered the car and sat in the back seat. The driver took his seat and started the engine.

The car traveled through mid-air.

Jeremy viewed the city infrastructure through the window, seeing skyscrapers and other towering buildings.

Except for the size and the population, it was no less impressive than City A.

He was truly surprised.
