Roar!
The Tier-6 gorilla roared out loud. A sudden surge of strength appeared in its body. The beast pushed it’s fist forward.
Boom!
Jeremy felt an overbearing force. If he didn’t withdraw his fist, the force could destroy his arm.
Swoosh!
He moved back decisively and offset the additional force. The force spread across the ground.
Jeremy then looked at his right fist, which was now bloodied. He was shocked internally; he had underestimated the gorilla beast.
It hadn’t used its full strength from the beginning. So beasts have abilities as well, and he thought the gorilla had just used one, which explained the sudden rise in strength.
Roar!
The gorilla roared out in anger. It had missed the target. The next second, its massive body leaped forward to attack.
Seeing that, Jeremy moved backward again. But this ti, he unsheathed his blade. He was done with trial and error. He knew where he stood when it ca to the Star Fist technique.
Boom!
The gorilla landed on the ground with a heavy thud. Both of its feet created a deep pit in the ground.
Jeffery, who was watching from a distance, was stunned. He had been speechless for the last few minutes.
He didn’t expect a Tier-3 Beast Tar to fight this long. He couldn’t believe his own eyes. What’s more, his own Lifeline beast had failed to hit the target.
He saw that the target was easily evading the attacks. He didn’t want to drag this fight out.
He was afraid that others might co, and he didn’t want other Beast Tars to see him. Not many had a Tier-6 Gorilla as their Lifeline beast.
Jeffery wanted to keep his identity secret. He then gave an order to his Lifeline beast. He told the gorilla not to underestimate the enemy and ordered the beast to use its full strength.
Roar!
Hearing that, the Tier-6 Gorilla roared out loud.
Its eyes reddened in anger. It started thumping its chest. The next second, it disappeared from the spot.
Swoosh!
The beast punched forward.
Jeremy felt a sense of crisis. He held the katana blade tightly. He used his power to watch the beast’s movents. At the sa ti, his senses kicked in. The beast’s movent appeared slow in his eyes.
Boom!
When the beast’s fist was about to land on him, his eyes tracked it. He then moved slightly and avoided the direct attack.
As the seconds passed, he saw the beast’s fist go past him. The hair almost grazed him, yet the beast still missed the target.
Boom!
The beast’s punch was about to land on the ground.
Slash!
Jeremy slashed the blade at the side of the beast’s arm. The starlight-filled blade swept across. The blade’s edge went into the flesh and ca out the other end. Still, the blade couldn’t cover the full arm of the beast.
Puchak!
The wound appeared to be small, but a torrent of blood gushed forth. The blood dyed the ground.
This all happened within minutes.
Roar! The beast roared out loud again. It turned around to attack. Jeremy felt the sense of crisis again.
He used x-ray vision and saw through the beast. The blood vessels in the beast beca visible to his eyes. This ti, he was going to target the blood vessels.
Ti passed.
The blade in his hand danced. Whenever the blade ca in contact with the gorilla, it penetrated the flesh and severed the blood vessels. He was using the x-ray vision perfectly.
The gorilla continued to miss the target, and the blade continued to increase the injuries on the beast’s body.
Pfff!
The gorilla looked bloodied. Because of the injuries, it went into a maddened state and started overturning the land.
Aaahhh!
Jeffery continued to receive backlash. His ntal zone was hurt. Only now was he unable to handle the pain. He let out a blood-curdling scream.
He had been careless; he didn’t expect Jeremy Night to inflict this much damage to his Gorilla Lifeline beast. Because of it, he received a backlash as well.
Swoosh!
The next second, he made a decision. He called back the Gorilla Lifeline beast. The Tier-6 Gorilla disappeared from the spot and went back to the ntal zone.
Jeremy was stunned. He didn’t expect the gorilla beast to disappear so suddenly. He then looked at the Tier-6 Beast Tar. He knew Jeffery.
Seeing that he had recalled his Lifeline beast, Jeremy figured the Beast Tar was going to escape.
Swoosh!
Jeremy used his "Explosive Steps" to dart towards him.
Jeffery was hurt. If others heard of this, they would think it was impossible, but it was the truth: he was scared of the Tier-3 Beast Tar. He thought the enemy had S-Grade Talent.
Only S-Grade Talent gives the power to fight across multiple tiers, which explains why Jeremy’s information was hidden.
He decided to go back to his hideout and inform others. But he underestimated Jeremy Night.
Swoosh!
He started running towards the hideout. He totally forgot about the target. He thought that as long as he reached the hideout, he would be safe.
He was not only terrified of Jeremy Night’s combat power; he noticed Jeremy Night hadn’t used his Lifeline beast at all.
Normally, Beast Tars use their Lifeline beasts to fight while providing support from behind. Beast Tars who can fight alongside their Lifeline beast are rare and considered extrely powerful.
He couldn’t believe the target was one of them. He was certain Jeremy Night had S-Grade Talent.
Once he reached the hideout, he would inform the higher-ups. Since they had forged an enmity, the higher-ups wouldn’t miss the opportunity to kill the kid.
Swoosh!
Jeremy Night was catching up from behind. The strength of a Tier-6 Beast Tar was many tis more powerful than a Tier-3 Beast Tar, but Jeremy was able to skip those tiers because of his starlight power.
Not long ago, he had used Star Fist to confront the Tier-6 Gorilla for a couple of seconds.
It was the first ti he had verified the power of Star Fist. He would have two trump cards in the future. He then collected his thoughts and continued to chase Jeffery.
As long as he got within shooting range, he would kill the man.
