The Office Room
Head Harold waited until all the wooden boxes were taken from the room. He then turned toward Jeremy Night.
He didn't know how to thank him. After a mont of thought, he asked, "If you have sothing on your mind, you can tell ."
Hearing that, Jeremy thought of his Lifeline Beast. The unknown egg required significant resources.
"I need a natural energy treasure," Jeremy said.
Jeremy knew his next breakthrough would be soon; he wanted to reach the 2nd Rank-Mid Stage.
Head Harold considered the request and agreed to send a natural energy treasure to Jeremy Night later. The elders and the mbers of the organization would not raise any complaints.
"Alright, you can go back to your room. You will receive the treasure in a few minutes," Harold said.
Jeremy nodded, left the room, and headed back to his quarters.
He was glad that everything had gone well. However, when he reached the lobby, he saw that a large number of mbers had gathered there. They were all discussing the remains.
Jeremy had underestimated the impact. He had underestimated the Beast Tide. It could practically be called a mini Beast Invasion.
His gaze swept across the mbers. It didn't take long for soone to notice him. Upon seeing him, they started whispering.
He saw a few mbers pointing fingers toward him and could overhear their conversations.
So were still in disbelief that the mission had been completed by a Tier-3 Beast Tar.
Jeremy didn't want to linger there, so he decided to return to his room.
A Few Minutes Later...
After returning to his room, he picked up his device and browsed the online news.
He believed Head Harold would send the natural energy treasure soon. In the anti, he followed the daily reports.
...
Darkshade Hideout
In the wilderness hideout, the Darkshade mbers were discussing the recent incident. Two of their mbers had been killed outside the hideout.
They didn't know which organization was responsible for the attack.
Most believed it could be the work of the City Governors, as only they had the power to send a team of elite officials to wipe out a target.
Not long ago, the City Governors had launched an attack against criminal organizations.
The Darkshade mbers hadn't been targeted then because of their backer, but now they feared the City Governors were no longer holding back and were looking for a way to wipe out the hideout.
It didn't take long for news about Jeffery and his team to reach them; the entire team was missing.
The higher-ups knew about their mission: Jeffery and his team had been tasked with eliminating a target nad Jeremy Night.
They quickly confird that the target had entered the wilderness and that Jeffery's team had left the hideout to pursue him.
The inforrs confird the target had returned to his organization, yet Jeffery and his mbers were still missing.
The higher-ups wanted to know what had happened. According to reports, no beast tides small or large had been reported in that area. Yet, they were gone.
So thought the team had t with misfortune, perhaps encountering a Tier-6 Beast or higher.
Others feared a different possibility: that the mbers had been killed by a Beast Taming Team.
Normally, no Beast Taming Team would dare offend them, especially since they were backed by major forces in the city. Most knew about the Darkshade Organization and the power behind it.
In order to find the truth, they had no choice but to send out search parties.
Shortly Afterwards
More than ten teams departed. Normally, their main job was to load and transfer goods, but the higher-ups called for a pause.
They wanted to find the reason behind the attacks and locate the missing mbers, suspecting the two events were connected.
These were not ordinary groups; teams led by Tier-6 Beast Tars took on the search mission. anwhile, the Tier-7 Beast Tars contacted other branches to gather opinions.
They knew that delaying their tasks could affect business, but they had to get to the bottom of the situation to maintain their reputation.
The higher-ups realized this wasn't the first ti mbers had gone missing. A team taken on a previous mission had died as well.
At that ti, they found evidence that two Tier-6 beasts had fought, so they assud it was just bad luck.
This ti, however, they were suspicious. While they couldn't act without evidence, a clue now might help them solve the mystery of the previous team's disappearance.
As ti passed, the higher-ups received responses from other factions who also wanted to uncover the truth. If soone was plotting against them, they needed to know.
The mbers searched everywhere, even entering the inner parts of the wilderness. They encountered corrupted beasts and other tars, but found no sign of Jeffery or the others.
Other Beast Taming Teams were surprised to see them. Such strong teams were easy to identify, though few recognized their specific organization.
Only the veterans had an idea who the black-clothed people were.
Their families had warned them never to offend these people, knowing they belonged to a professional criminal organization.

The Room
That evening, Jeremy Night heard a knock on his door. When he opened it, he found a staff mber standing outside carrying a glass box. The box appeared to be a specialized storage container.
"What is this?" Jeremy asked.
"It's the reward for your mission. Head Harold told to hand it over to you," the staff mber replied.
He was shocked internally. He didn't expect Head Harold to pick the reward personally.
He didn't know what's inside. But he believes it must be expensive. It could be natural treasures of so technique book.
Staff were already discussing it.
Jeremy thanked the man and accepted the box. He had been waiting since morning and was glad Head Harold had kept his promise.
After shutting the door, he hurried inside, eager to check the contents of the glass storage box.
The staff left the place.
