Jeremy Night is following linda. She continues moving forward without speaking much. They are going deeper and deeper.

He hasn’t co across any Beast Tars or Corrupted Beasts so far, but he hasn’t relaxed his vigilance. He has an uneasy feeling; a fight could occur at any ti.

After entering the deeper area, they ca across their first corrupted beasts. However, they were lower-tier corrupted beasts.

Senior linda ignored them. She didn’t want to waste ti on lower-tier beasts.

But linda is paying attention. She can tell that sothing is bothering Jeremy Night.

"What could trouble him?" she thought.

In her view, Jeremy Night is a Tier-3 Beast Tar. If anything worries him, it must be the threat of the corrupted beasts.

But she knew for a fact that Jeremy Night fights across Tiers. She had witnessed his strength during the Skull Gang thugs elimination operation.

So, she doesn’t think Jeremy Night is afraid of the corrupted beasts. Sothing else must be bothering him.

She knew that, unlike her, Jeremy Night was not attached to the team. He had hardly done any joint missions with them.

So, there is no chance that he is mourning the loss. He is worried about sothing else. She thinks she will figure it out soon.

Jeremy didn’t say anything. He is wondering where this dark ridge is. He is also interested in exploring the place. New learning is always good.

Right then, a Tier-5 four-legged cat beast moved past them. Its speed was so fast that linda didn’t react imdiately.

"Wait," linda said. She didn’t want Jeremy Night to face this beast.

Jeremy Night noticed the beast because of his eye power. He paused his footsteps. He could still see that the cat beast had surrounded them.

The cat beast’s speed was fast; Tier-2 and Tier-3 Beast Tars could only see a blur. He was the only exception.

He suddenly zood in his vision. He saw a full picture of the cat beast clearly. The cat beast was over two ters in height.

It was the first ti he had seen a Tier-5 Corrupted Beast of such height. The beast’s speed was terrific.

If not for his eye power, he would be facing difficulty as well. Yet, the cat beast was taller than him. He then saw the color of the beast.

The cat beast was gray in color—no, the color of the cat beast was pitch black. It would be a nightmare if it were nightti.

Fortunately, their situation was different. He believes Sister linda can easily deal with the beast.

The cat beast observed them while moving past. linda understood the cat beast’s intention as well. She furrowed her eyebrows.

She was not ready to waste her energy here, but if the beast decided to do sothing, she would act.

"Don’t do anything; I’ll take care of it," linda said.

"Okay," Jeremy replied.

But he was prepared in his heart. He had killed Tier-6 Beast Tar Roland Hill. He was not afraid of Tier-5 Beast Tars or Tier-5 Corrupted Beasts anymore.

As the seconds passed by, the cat beast continued to circle them. Instead of making a move, the beast was not ready to attack yet. linda was surprised.

She thought the beast would have moved by now. She was the only one with Tier-5 strength; Jeremy is a Tier-3 Beast Tar. The beast would likely target him, yet it wasn’t making a move at all.

Two teams are moving toward the target location.

Neither team has spotted the target yet, but they are getting closer and closer. It’s just that they don’t know where the target is heading.

They don’t know about the mission. On top of that, the target is not alone this ti. He has a team mber with him, so they will have to kill the team mber as well.

If anyone else cos to the rescue, they will et the sa fate.

On the other hand, there is a third team active in the wilderness. They are waiting near the dark ridge. It is a small elder team made of three Tier-7 Beast Tars.

They are from the Red Moon Chamber. Head Harold had already sent them here.

They didn’t know the ins and outs. They only knew their job was to protect the Beast Tars coming to the Dark Ridge, especially if they were mbers of their organization.

They don’t have any idea about the real dangers yet.

On the other side, Head Harold and Elder Stephen are waiting. Stephen reminded him about Robert Hill. Robert Hill is a cunning person; he could personally intervene to kill the kid.

Earlier, Harold made a plan to block Robert Hill alone, but Stephen volunteered to monitor Robert Hill instead.

He left the organization and went toward the territory of the Hill family. As an elder responsible for intel gathering, his Beast Taming talent related to that task.

That’s why he was not worried and volunteered to monitor the Tier-8 Beast Tar. Of course, Head Harold had obvious trust in him.

Unexplored Region

The dangerous Tier-9 Black Centipede is very active at the border. It is slowly gathering corrupted beasts for the next attack.

The movents of the beasts were so slow that they didn’t draw attention from the Beast Tars close to the border.

anwhile, the Beast Tars from the city have resud missions in the wilderness. They have no idea about the dangers there.

The Tier-6 and Tier-7 Beast Tars from the Beast Taming forces have yet to arrive at the border. If they were here, they would have a chance to find it.

On the other hand, Tier-8 Beast Tars and veteran Tier-7 Beast Tars were not allowed to cross the border because of the previous beast tide.

If they had entered already, they would have found out about the beast gathering.

The Tier-9 Black Centipede has a rare chance to control a diverse range of corrupted beasts.

The mastermind behind this plan would not have expected such action from a Tier-9 beast.
