Barren land
Jeremy Night goes around for a walk. He sees other passengers are not as casual as him. They are still vigilant, turning their heads very often.
But he simply uses his eyes to scan the area. Nothing can be hidden from his vision. He uses his second eye power to observe the place.
The barren land stretches across endlessly. There is nothing in between. Not even tall trees are here.
Jeremy shakes his head. He wonders whether he can go back to the plane. The plane was not totally damaged. They can be seated inside.
A few minutes later,
He goes back and talks to Head Harold about this. Head Harold agrees with his idea. Except for the cockpit, the main body of the plane was unscathed.
Ti passed,
Except for a few veterans, the rest of them went inside the plane and sat down in their seats. The veterans took turns to watch over.
The cabin crew people are helping in watching over as well. Both the pilots are resting. They are not in any condition to move.
The following day,
The news reached the ears of higher-ups in the Governor’s office of both the 4th and 5th zone. They were shocked. Such incidents are happening lately.
So, the nearest station to them was the special base. They ordered the higher-ups in the special base to rescue them.
It didn’t take long for flights from the 4th zone side to touch down at the special base. Since the communication was not active, they reported the news in person.
Soon, a Tier-8 Beast Tar with a bird-type beast left the base. The bird travels fast. The Beast Tar will find the accident site by following the travel route.
Ti passed,
Jeremy Night goes outside to do his morning duty. Then he cos back and sits alone. The ergency rations were distributed to others by the cabin crew.
He got a slice of bread as well. He thanked them before eating it.
Head Harold sees Jeremy Night and joins him.
"Don’t worry, the nearest place is the special base. If I’m not wrong, soone from that place will soon co up," Head Harold said with a smile.
He was being positive. It was not the first ti he had experienced this. He had experienced similar accidents before.
But during those, they fought against the corrupted beasts after the accident. Here, they were fortunate that no corrupted beast was nearby.
A few hours later,
Screech!
A bird’s cry is heard in the sky. Hearing that, everyone gets alerted. They feel it could be a corrupted beast. If it were a bird-type corrupted beast, then it would beco hard for everyone to fight back.
But just then, the veterans notice soone standing on the back of the beast. It was spotted by Jeremy Night. That’s why he is calm compared to others.
He didn’t expect the help from the special base to co so soon. He had thought it would take a couple of days.
The Tier-8 Hawk is massive in size. It can easily carry a hundred people on its back. The bird then slowly descends down in front of everyone and lands on the ground.
Only then the passengers see the Tier-8 Beast Tar and sigh in relief. They were worried that they were under attack.
The old man is wearing a black and gold uniform. He lands on the ground and walks towards them. He looks at everyone and says, "I’m John. One of the elders of the special base. We heard about the accident."
"I ca here to pick you guys up. From the special base, you guys can travel to the 4th zone," John added.
His face is full of smiles. Just then, he notices a young Tier-3 Beast Tar. He didn’t expect a young man among the passengers.
"Maybe he is going to et so relatives," he assus to himself. Then he asks everyone to hop on the bird’s back.
Hearing that, everyone is happy. No one is rejecting it. Jeremy Night follows Head Harold to step onto the bird’s back. He is nervous.
He has not done it before. Head Harold guides him. Then his footing becos firm. Others are instructed as well.
If they stand near the edge, there is a risk of falling off.
Jeremy is standing in the back, but he is standing closer to Head Harold. Because most of them are above Tier-5 Beast Tars.
They have flight ability. They can handle themselves.
Swoosh!
Shortly afterwards,
The bird takes off. Elder John is standing at the front. He orders the beast to fly at a slow speed. If the beast flies at top speed, then everyone will be swept away by the wind force.
Ti passed,
On the way, they don’t find any corrupted beasts. No bird-type beast is hindering them. The hawk flies smoothly.
Everyone is enjoying the ride.
At the sa ti, Jeremy Night clearly notices the advantages of having a bird-type beast.
But he is not jealous. He knows his own unknown egg, the Lifeline beast, is extrely powerful. It has an unknown, powerful bloodline.
From ti to ti, he finds the gaze of the old man on him. Why is the Elder from the special base looking at him? This situation is noticed by Head Harold as well.
He says, "The special base is where the geniuses recruited by the human alliance are trained and do work."
"Maybe he is surprised by your Tier-3 strength and age," he added.
"Hmmm," Jeremy hums.
A few hours later,
The special base cos into view. The base is surrounded by concrete walls. There are cent buildings here and there.
There is also a huge runway behind the base. Already, there are two large flights parked in the area.
Seeing that, everyone sighs in relief. They could be flights from the 4th zone. Everyone has relief on their faces.
Slowly, the hawk beast lands on the runway. When the beast cos to a halt, John turns around and looks at everyone.
"It’s the new flight arranged for the passengers to reach the 4th zone. There are pilots and cabin crew people waiting for you," John says.
Hearing that, the passengers let out a cheer. Jeremy eases his eyebrows as well.
