Auction House
Jeremy Night was going through old books. One interesting book caught his eye. He picked up the old book.
[Lifeline Beast Breathing thod: Among the many breathing thods developed during the start of the mutation era.]
[This breathing thod belongs to one of them. It allowed a Beast Tar with any lifeline beast talent to practice. But it was only developed up to Tier-5 strength.]
[Beast Tars with any lifeline talent can practice the thod. But the routes are difficult and the process is slow. Eventually, it was abandoned.]
Jeremy Night’s eyes glead with a twinkle. He began to read the content right away. He saw a diagram of the human physique where complex routes and passages were marked.
It was the first ti he had seen sothing like this. He had even searched online sites many tis, but he hadn’t co across this thod.
It was disregarded because it was slow. He couldn’t take this outside. Since it was disregarded, Head Harold wouldn’t allow him to select the thod.
And he didn’t want to make things difficult for him. He already had a plan in his mind. By using this thod, he would try to use the starlight power of his lifeline beast to practice.
It was a gamble, but he thought it would work out. Since he had one more day tomorrow, he would practice the thod tonight.
So, he began to morize the content. Fortunately, his comprehension was superb. His Supre Combat Body talent also gave him excellent comprehension.
He could have used his device to capture pictures, but there were caras here. So, he obediently morized the content.
15 minutes later,
He put away the basic book. He had morized everything, but he didn’t show it on his face. He then picked up the next book and began to read it.
A few minutes later,
Head Harold and Elder Dorothy walked into the room. They saw that Jeremy Night was still going through the books.
Head Harold’s mouth twitched.
"Ha... Ha... Ha..." Dorothy let out a small laugh.
"Kid, it appears your ambition is great. But it’s very hard to find a breathing thod that perfectly suits a person. That’s why most people set priorities."
"They are not too choosy," she added.
Hearing that, Jeremy Night smiled and said, "It’s just that I don’t want to give up blade skills. I will decide after exploring all the options."
"Sigh!"
Dorothy sat in her seat and sighed.
"I learned about your background from Elder Harold. To think your journey started from the 14th Zone. It’s amazing. Not only that, but you have participated in several beast tide battles."
"This alone makes you special. No wonder you are choosy. I have your contact details. I will help you. I will keep an eye out for a breathing thod that matches your preferences."
"Until then, you can continue with the inner healing thod," she said with a smile.
Jeremy smiled and replied, "Thanks for the help, Elder."
Head Harold thanked her as well. They were veterans; most of them retired after reaching a certain old age.
They had a great conversation there.
"Don’t ntion it. I’m happy to see young talent. I also heard about the recent Tier-9 Beast attacks on the 5th Zone. That’s why I spared so ti for you guys," Dorothy said.
Head Harold and Jeremy Night understood. Still, they were grateful for her ti. If not for her, Jeremy Night wouldn’t have had the chance to go through the different breathing thods.
A few minutes later,
They left the auction house. Standing outside, Head Harold said, "I know you can use your lifeline beast power."
"If I’m not wrong, that white-colored power is like an elental power, am I right?" he added.
"Yes, if there is any thod to utilize the white power, then I will use it," Jeremy said.
Harold’s eyes flickered. To be honest, he had already figured out what the white power could be. Since they were looking for a breathing thod, the details needed to be clear.
"So the white power is either the star elent or the light elent. Both of them are rare, but there have been examples before," he said.
Then he thought of sothing, and his face revealed a smile.
He said, "No wonder you can practice Star Fist. I suspected it before. Now that you are being open about your lifeline beast power."
"I think you can practice the Star Fist up to Tier-9 Rank. The blade move that you are practicing can reach up to Tier-7 Rank."
"So there are no problems for you when it cos to attack techniques," he added.
Jeremy was embarrassed. He didn’t an to hide it, but he’d had no choice.
Harold saw through his thoughts.
He said, "I can understand your reasons. Now I know why you didn’t use your lifeline beast during the battle."
"A lifeline beast that can use star power is no ordinary lifeline beast. You have made the right choice so far."
"Since you are growing stronger and coming into contact with high-ranking people, they will notice the Star Power."
"If anyone asks about the star elent, just tell them it’s your second talent," he added in a serious tone.
Now he understood that the background information of the kid was confidential.
He and Neil Moon had tried to access the database, but the information about the kid’s lifeline beast was set to confidential. They didn’t have the authority to access it; it was set from above.
It must be either the top three zones or the Human Alliance.
"Thanks for your help, Head," Jeremy replied.
"Don’t ntion it. If you have any problems, you can tell us," Harold said.
"When it cos to the breathing thod, there have been people with star and light power before. But they practiced the Lifeline Beast Breathing thod in their early stages."
"Then they developed their own thods. But this breathing thod is difficult. People have long since stopped practicing it."
"But you don’t have that problem. You have the Supre Combat Body. There are many thods. We will go to other stores tomorrow," Harold said.
Hearing that, Jeremy Night nodded his head, but he was glad in his heart. He had made the right decision to morize the contents.
He was more inclined to use the starlight elent than other thods because he knew the power of the star elent. It gave him the strength to fight across Tiers.
