Special Base
Elder John saw the young man. He completely recognized him. It was the sa young man who was among the passengers rescued a few days ago.
He didn’t expect the young man to be here. He could tell that the young man was injured. Yet, he survived the battlefield with Tier-3 strength.
It was clearly a shocking thing. The next second, he took so healing pills from his storage ring and gave them to the young man.
Without saying anything, he left with the Golden Hawk. From beginning to end, he didn’t think further. He just felt the young man was impressive.
But he didn’t know that the young man had not only survived, but he had contributed by killing the corrupted beasts as well.
And one of them was a Tier-6 beast. He went to et the other elders.
Jeremy Night glanced at the pill bottle. He removed the cork and consud one. The next second, he felt a powerful, mild energy enter his body.
He imdiately sat down and began to circulate his inner healing thod. As he circulated the energy, the injuries in his body began to heal.
Especially, the hidden injuries in his inner organs were getting healed.
Swoosh!
On the other hand, Head Harold, who was looking for Jeremy Night, found him under the tree. He imdiately appeared in front of him.
Jeremy Night felt soone’s presence.
"It’s . Continue to circulate the healing energy," Harold said to him.
Because he saw the healing pills in Jeremy Night’s hand. To be honest, he was impressed with the young man.
He was worried about things regarding the breathing thod. He didn’t like how things went.
After the battle, he felt it was worth it to invest in the young man. There was no need for him to participate in the battle.
It was a battle for Tier-5 Beast Tars and above. Yet, he had fought against the corrupted beasts.
He knew Jeremy Night could fight across tiers. He was sure a couple of Tier-5 beasts would have died. But he didn’t know about the Tier-6 kill.
It happened remotely. No one knew about it.
Ti passed.
Jeremy Night used the healing energy efficiently. He was out of danger right now. He then opened his eyes and saw Head Harold.
"Head," he called out.
"You are good, kid. You survived a tough battle. You have more experience for your age," Head Harold said.
"It’s my duty. I tried to contribute," Jeremy replied.
"Good to hear that. Don’t worry, people have seen your battle. I’m sure they will reward you later."
"Now, we should go back," he said.
Jeremy Night nodded his head. Then they both went back to the operation building.
On the way, there were survivors who clearly saw the Tier-3 Beast Tar now. It was the beast tar who had helped them last night.
Not only that, they had clearly seen how he had slayed the Tier-5 beasts. The ability to fight across tiers was sothing done by geniuses.
They didn’t know why such a person was not here.
The runway was cleared out in one hour.
Then a new flight from the 4th zone touched down. There were only a handful of survivors. Jeremy Night and Head Harold boarded the flight.
The flight took off from the special base. They didn’t want to delay here. Anything could happen here.
anwhile,
Elder John and the other elders were taking stock of the battle. It was a blunder on their side. Almost half of the team was away when the attack occurred.
It ca like thunder. The Tier-9 Worm King used a good opportunity to target them. They were completely caught off guard.
It was so bad that they had casualties now. They had already reported to the higher-ups in the human alliance.
They wanted a clear report. It was good that they dealt with the Tier-9 Worm King. Otherwise, the consequences would have been severe.
When the eting ended, the elders assembled the camp students. There were Tier-5, Tier-6, and Tier-7 students here.
After becoming a Tier-7 Beast Tar, one could leave or choose to stay here. If soone beca a Tier-8 Beast Tar, they would enter the ranks of the elders or graduate from the place.
There were 12 elders standing here. There were 185 students here.
They were discussing among themselves. They were glad that they had survived the battlefield.
"Hey, that battle was sothing. Lots of our brothers and sisters have died. Our skills are lacking."
"No way, that Tier-3 Beast Tar slayed Tier-5 beasts effortlessly. What’s more, he didn’t even summon his Lifeline beasts. He was afraid of his lifeline beast getting hurt."
"That guy is formidable. But I don’t know what his lifeline beast is. If a Tier-3 lifeline beast is injured, it will cripple him. He was clever not taking out his lifeline beast."
"We survived thanks to our lifeline beasts."
"Who is he?"
"Could he be a new transfer?"
The team mbers discussed.
Elder John heard sothing interesting. It made him raise his eyebrows. He felt he had heard sothing wrong.
But as he continued to listen, he couldn’t help but think of the young man. His heart was stirred.
He had thought the young man survived because of survival skills. But he didn’t expect the young man had actually killed Tier-5 corrupted beasts.
Which ant he had underestimated the young man. The young man could clearly enter the ranks of geniuses. He had done better than the geniuses selected for the camps.
It was not easy to fight across tiers, let alone skipping two tiers right away. He found more and more people discussing it.
He decided to investigate later. If such a genius was outside, it was a loss for their camp and the human side.
"Everyone, the Tier-9 Worm King launched a sneak attack, but we have already dealt with it."
"There will be no problem again. You guys can rest assured. The families of the deceased will be compensated."
"The rest of you can learn one free skill," one of the elders said in a serious tone.
Hearing that, the moods of the Beast Tars improved. They didn’t dwell on this matter further.
