Evelyn s POV

I fell asleep next to Thaddeus and Ryland. Orion brought back movies and I didn t even last through one. The next day I woke, and Thaddeus and Ryland were gone. Sitting up, I find Orion on the bed next to a reading a sheet of paper with a box in his lap.

"Good you re up" he states putting the piece of paper down.

"Where did Thaddeus and Ryland go?" I ask.

"Out, Thaddeus needs more blood. Now tell and don t lie to " I look down in his lap at the box that sat there. It was pregnancy test and my heart rate picked up just by the sight of it.

"So, I guessing I am correct in assuming that was the reason you were staring at your belly when I walked in, also why you refused a smoke when Ryland offered it" he states. I say nothing just look away from him.

"Well, you can t be that far along. When were your periods due?"

"The second last week we were at Imogen s."

"that would explain why you can t see anything yet."

"Supernatural pregnancies are half the ti, Evelyn," he says, sitting up and grabbing my hand. He pulls off the bed. Before thrusting the box in my hand.

"Says you need to pee on the stick and wait," Orion says.

"Now Evelyn before they get back, and door stays open, so I know you didn t tamper with it." I take it from him before staking into the bathroom, I try to close the door when Orion walks in closing it.

"You can t watch , Orion."

"I will turn around, just hurry up they won t be long," he says turning his back to . I suddenly got stage fright; I always need to pee first thing of a morning but with soone standing there it was a bit awkward. I quickly peed thanking the gods pregnancy tests were done via urine sample and not a stool one. That would a have been humiliating.

I flush handing him the stick with the cap stuck back on and he sits on the basin staring at it intently like it was so sort of experint while I wash my hands. Three minutes felt so long before I hear him growl. Orion grabs my hand yanking out of the bathroom.

"Co on, we need to go."

"What?" I ask confused.

"You re pregnant, Evie. We need to go now so we can get rid of it." His words make my blood run cold. Get rid of it? I am not getting rid of it.

"No, Orion" I tell him, pulling my hand from his and backing up. Orion makes a noise in the back of his throat that makes goosebumps rise on my skin. He turns on backing into the corner.

"You can t keep it Evelyn, it will kill you,"

"I m not aborting my child, Orion."

"You don t have a choice; I won t allow it to kill you," he says grabbing my wrist and trying to pull toward the door.

"No, Orion let fucking go of ," I tell him, but he continues trying to get to follow him.

"Look we will get rid of it, then if you want sothing to look after, I will get you puppy," he says. I shake my head.

"This isn t your choice."

"Like hell it isn t, your being irrational, what part of, it will fucking kill you don t you understand?"

"No, my body my choice." Orion growls before gripping my arms and pressing against the wall.

"I said no. It s simple we get rid of it, then if you feel bad, I will get Thaddeus to erase it from your mory, get you puppy and everything will be fine."

"No!" Orion growls hitting the wall above my head. Tears streaming down my face, he wants to kill our baby and I knew deep down there is nothing I can do if he forces .

"Stop crying, this is what needs to be done, now co with before I ring Thaddeus to co get you" he says, grabbing my wrist. He yanks toward him, and I put my hand out to stop from smacking into his hard chest.

"I am trying to be nice Evelyn co with now and do it the right way or I will get rid of it myself" he snaps his eyes turning crimson, I feel the fog creeping over and know he was going to try compelling .

I slap him, the fog lifting. The growl that escaped him was nacing, he grabs , but I go limp escaping through his hands, dropping to the floor, cradling my knees to my chest.

"You said you didn t want kids yet; I don t see what the big deal is Evelyn. Simple choice, either you or a baby, I choose you end of argunt" he snaps at .

"I didn t want one yet, but I am not getting rid of it, it s our baby how could you be so heartless" I scream at him. He tries to pick up off the floor, but I kick and hit him making it hard for him to grab without hurting when suddenly the door bursts open.

"What the fuck are you doing Orion?" yells Ryland walking in with Thaddeus behind him. Shit now I had three of them to go against.

Orion ignores him and I could feel his anger hitting hard through the bond making nausea roll over . "Get up Evelyn, NOW" he bellows at reaching for again but Ryland growls at him when I pull away from him, slamming him against the wall. "What the fuck has gotten into you, you re scaring her" he screams at him.

Thaddeus steps into the room assessing the situation. Orion shoves him back before walking into the bathroom. He grabs the box before walking to Thaddeus and slamming it into his chest. Thaddeus glares at him grabbing it.

"Talk so fucking sense into her" Orion snaps, walking out the door.

Thaddeus watches him storm out before staring at the box, Ryland walking over to him to see what Orion gave him and both of their eyes snap to .

"You re pregnant?" Thaddeus states.

"You can t keep it Evie" Ryland says walking over to , where I was frozen on the ground, my heart pounding in my chest so hard I was finding it hard to breathe.

"I m not aborting my child" I scream at him, frustrated. Ryland rubs the back of his neck looking toward Thaddeus, who sits on the end of the bed looking down at the pregnancy test in his hand.

"Evie"- He says

"No, and I won t forgive you if you make " Thaddeus looks to Ryland. Ryland looks between both of us before putting his hands up in surrender.

"I am out, I ain t making her do anything she doesn t want to" he states walking out of the room.

"Just let calm down Orion, then we will deal with this" he says.

"Deal with it?" I ask and he rubs his hand down his face, his eyes softening.

"Yes, we will deal with it, you can t keep it. I will take it away, you won t even rember Evelyn, be like it never existed" he says. I shake my head but couldn t even say anything around the lump in my throat.

"Evie?" he says getting up,

"No, just leave " I manage to choke out. Thaddeus sighs before walking out closing the door behind him leaving a sobbing ss on the floor. They were going to kill our baby, take it from . Getting up I go and wash my face, my eyes were all puffing, and they still hadn t returned. Walking out, I notice the car keys still sitting on the dresser. Opening the door, I peer out.

We were on the second floor. The stairs were only a few tres away and the car was parked right next to them. I just needed to get to the car, but I wasn t sure where they went. Ducking inside, I close the door quickly chucking my hair in a bun before slipping so clothes on. Grabbing the keys, I make a dash for the car, stopping on the bottom step and pressing the button to unlock Thaddeus s car. It beeps once, the lights flashing. When I don t see them, I rush over, throwing the door open and jumping in and starting the car.

Reversing out and tearing off down the road for the highway. I had no idea where to go, but anywhere was better than the alternative. If I knew where Thaddeus s parents went, I would have gone to them, but they left the City and other then there, I had nowhere to go. Trying to think of sowhere to go I continue driving down the highway before suddenly noticing a figure in the middle of the road and being forced to slam on the breaks before hitting them, only to realise it was Thaddeus. I slam the breaks on barely missing him before putting it in reverse and looking over my shoulder to Orion standing behind the car.
