I lay there completely exhausted. When I hear Thaddeus’ panicked voice making sit up.

"See told ya, a bloody bread bag. You’re too big for these things" I hear Ryland say.

My heart rate picks up, they are joking right?

Sitting up, Thaddeus walks out with a pair of shorts on, along with Ryland, both of them staring at nervously.

"It broke didn’t it?"

"It’s not like I ant for it to happen" Thaddeus says.

"This can’t be happening" I say to myself when I feel the bed dip, hot tears running down my face and into my hair as I flop back on the bed.

Orion climbs on the bed straddling my hips. "What do you want to do?" He says, making look at him.

"Don’t cry, why are you crying?"

"Because he only has to sneeze in my direction and I get knocked up" I choke out.

"Sohow I don’t think it works that way" he says, making laugh from the thoughtful look on his face.

"It’s fine Evie, firstly the chances are pretty low since you have been taking those pills, secondly would it really be a bad thing if you were?"

"You do sll different" he says and I look to Ryland in panic. Orion, noticing my gaze, looks at him too. Thaddeus staring between the three of us.

"Evie?" Orion says, I shake my head and Ryland steps forward but Orion dips his face back to my neck, running his nose across my shoulder inhaling my scent. I don’t know how he could sll anything while I was covered in their scents and had fed off both Ryland and Thaddeus.

"Evie?" Orion says, looking at Thaddeus.

"What?" I squeak but he knew, Orion knew.

"Did you eat our mailman?" Orion asks. Thaddeus seed shocked like the thought never crossed his mind.

"No! Of course not" I tell him. Ryland lips pressed together as he looked at the ceiling.

"Evie, where is our mailman?" Orion asks.

"Probably at ho, doing mailman things" I tell him and Ryland snorts before containing himself.

"She killed the mailman" Orion says to Thaddeus who pinches the bridge of his nose and shakes his head.

"Where did you put him,Evie?" Thaddeus says and my eyes dart to Ryland who was staring at the roof. He looks down noticing us all staring at him.

"And you helped her cover it up?" Thaddeus says.

"No he ran into the hole I buried him in, of course I tried to cover it up she is our wife" Ryland says.

Orion groans before hopping off . "Evie!" says Thaddeus with a sigh.

"It’s not her fault, Thaddeus I shouldn’t have left her with him" Orion says, grabbing my hands and pulling to a sitting position.

"Get dressed we need to dig up our mailman and return him to his family"

"I will take care of it but you can’t just hide a body, he would have a family. You should have known better Ryland"

"Yeah that’s why you buried him and exactly how were you going to take care of it? Have Lycans developed compulsion?" He asks.

Ryland shows us where he buried him. Only when we got there the body was gone, like he dug himself out.

"Shit, I gave him vampire blood to heal him" Orion says.

"Great, this just keeps getting better" Thaddeus says when we hear a scared whimper. We spin looking around for the sound.

Walking around the side of the shed, I see the mailman crouched on the ground.

"Please don’t kill , I didn’t see anything I swear" the man begs. Thaddeus approaches him and he flinches.

"We won’t hurt you, but you’re going to have to co with " Thaddeus says, offering his hand to him. The man hesitates before taking it, letting Thaddeus pull him to his feet. Thaddeus looks at his neck.

"What have you done to ?" he shrieks. Ryland moves but instinct to feed kicks in and he lunges at Ryland. Thaddeus’ eyes turn black and he claps his hands, the noise deafening and the man drops to the ground clutching his head before he reaches Ryland. Orion grabs his arm and Thaddeus the other picking him up.

"You two inside and watch Mara while we take him to the council" Thaddeus says and I nod feeling terribly guilty.

"On the plus side he can’t make wear his outfit now" Ryland snickers, steering toward the house.
