The commotion caused by the Sun Blaze Celestial God follower quickly died down. There were quite a few casualties in Renyuan Valley, and the entire Yunluo Sacred Land began a large-scale investigation.
Lu Ye was sent back to the Star Picking Tower. Sun Nianyue arranged more guards to secretly protect him; clearly, the incident just now had frightened her.
She also knew that once Lu Ye's reputation spread, it would definitely draw the attention of the Celestial God followers. She had in fact already taken precautions against this, but she had never imagined that a Sun Blaze Celestial God follower would personally make a move.
If Aqiduo hadn't suddenly brought out a powerful protective magic treasure on this trip, she really didn't know whether this junior brother of hers could have survived.

"What do you an?" Arbuluo asked.
"Think about it. On the battlefields of this domain, each side has a Sun Blaze in command. From the intelligence we currently have, Tian Hong is stronger than his counterpart and has already killed him several tis, but just because the other is a Celestial God follower, he can't be truly killed. Since Tian Hong has been keeping an eye on him, how did he manage to slip into Zhongyou World without anyone noticing?"
If it were just an ordinary Celestial God follower infiltrating, that would be one thing—there's no helping that. But even a Sun Blaze infiltrated and no one knew? How flimsy must Zhongyou World's defensive line be?
Arbuluo's eyes rolled a bit. "You're not suspecting Tian Hong that he…"
Lu Ye shook his head. "Not to that extent. If there were sothing wrong with Tian Hong, we'd all be dead for sure. He ca to the rescue at the critical mont before as well, so there's no problem with Tian Hong. I just find it strange why he failed to prevent that Sun Blaze from slipping in."
"It is a bit strange," Arbuluo more or less understood what Lu Ye ant. "So have you figured it out?"
"No." Lu Ye had originally suspected there might be so mole in this domain acting as an inside man, but even if there were, as long as Tian Hong was careful enough, it shouldn't have been possible for them to succeed, because he only needed to keep his eyes on that Sun Blaze Celestial God follower.
Unless the Sun Blaze Celestial God followers on Zhongyou World's side weren't limited to just one. But if there were more than one, Tian Hong absolutely wouldn't have made it back so quickly.

Arbuluo got up and left, and in less than a mont he returned, carrying a Constellation Realm Celestial God follower in his hand as if it were a noodle. This Celestial God follower had obviously been knocked unconscious by him.
Celestial God followers were all very manic, often using secret techniques similar to the Blood Explosion Technique at the slightest provocation. They weren't afraid of death, and their Mana was extrely strange, so anyone caught in their self-detonation wouldn't end up in a good state.
Arbuluo placed this Celestial God follower in front of Lu Ye, and Lu Ye raised a finger and tapped it on the other's forehead.
Arbuluo just stood to the side watching.
Very quickly, he sensed fluctuations of ntal Consciousness surging from Lu Ye's side and imdiately understood Lu Ye's intention. He exclaid, "You know the Soul Searching Technique as well?"
He hurriedly reminded, "Be careful. Tian Hong tried this before, but those Celestial God followers still blew themselves up. Their Divine Seas seem to have so restriction placed on them that gets triggered as soon as you Soul Search them."
Lu Ye nodded.
He certainly hadn't cultivated the Soul Searching Technique, but he had a more convenient thod. It was just that unless he had no other choice, he was unwilling to use it, because every ti he did, it made him feel very uncomfortable.
His ntal Consciousness surged forth, easily breaking through the Divine Sea defenses of this Constellation Celestial God follower.
The divine runes of telepathy rapidly took shape.

Lu Ye's heart stirred with excitent. If he could spy on how this cultivator had turned into a Celestial God follower, then he would definitely be able to uncover the secret behind it.
Another scene flashed by: that Constellation being defeated by an enemy. His entire body was smashed to pieces, aura feeble and on the verge of death. At that mont he was being carried in the hand of a Celestial God follower, flying toward a brown star.
The scene shifted again, and Lu Ye saw a furnace cauldron wreathed in blood light shooting into the sky. The cauldron was enormous, its surface covered in blood-red patterns that looked like thick blood vessels, making one's heart palpitate at a glance. A dense sll of blood surged toward him, and from within the cauldron ca a rhythmic thumping, like a heartbeat. On both sides of the cauldron blood strange blood flower patterns.
What left Lu Ye utterly astonished was that the Blood-Colored Furnace Cauldron actually contained an extrely surging and condensed vitality, a vastness he had never before sensed.
The current viewpoint hovered above that Blood-Colored Furnace Cauldron; it was obvious that the Constellation had been brought here by the Celestial God follower, and then the vision rapidly dropped, as if he had been thrown down.
Lu Ye held his breath, fully focused. He knew the secret of how Celestial God followers were born was right before his eyes!
But just then, blood light suddenly surged within that massive Blood-Colored Furnace Cauldron, and a crack split open. The crack quickly widened, turning into a single eye!
Under the gaze of that single eye, Lu Ye's mind and spirit began to sway.
A booming sound erupted, and Lu Ye snapped back to himself. By his ear ca Arbuluo's shout: "Lu Ye!"
The Celestial God follower in front of him had already vanished without a trace; there were only countless mangled remnants of flesh. Combined with the earlier commotion and the shockwave that followed, Lu Ye imdiately understood: that Constellation had self-detonated!
Arbuluo had reminded him just now that there was a restriction placed in the Divine Sea of Celestial God followers, which would be triggered the mont a Soul Search was perford. Now that had indeed co true.
What he had used wasn't exactly a Soul Searching Technique, but the effect of his telepathy was undoubtedly even more comprehensive than a Soul Search. He must have inadvertently touched the restriction in the other party's Divine Sea, triggering the Celestial God follower's self-destruction.
That sound and the accompanying shockwave had been brought about by the self-detonation.
Lu Ye wasn't injured. The self-destruction of a re Constellation couldn't do much to him. What puzzled him, however, was that his own blood Qi was unexpectedly churning and boiling of its own accord. Vaguely, in so distant place, it felt as if sothing was pulling on his blood Qi, trying to devour it.

The secret of the Celestial God followers' birth lay within it, and whatever was tugging at his blood Qi was undoubtedly that sa eerie object.
What was that? And what was that blood-colored single eye that had suddenly appeared at the last mont?
He drew in a light breath, suppressed the abnormality in his own blood Qi, then looked up toward the Celestial God follower who had self-detonated. As expected, the other party was about to resurrect.
Sure enough, the exploded chunks of corpse now seed to be guided by so power, gathering toward one point, rapidly piecing themselves back into the shape of that Celestial God follower. Even the scattered Blood Water returned like young swallows to their nest.
Lu Ye suddenly raised his brows, fixing his gaze on the top of the Celestial God follower's head. "Brother Luo, look!" he said in surprise.
Arbuluo followed his line of sight. "At what?"
"That— a blood flower!" Lu Ye spoke again. That blood flower was exactly the sa as the ones he had just seen on the Blood-Colored Furnace Cauldron.
Arbuluo stared intently, then turned to look at Lu Ye, his brows deeply furrowed.
"You can't see it?" Lu Ye imdiately sensed sothing.
"I don't see anything," Arbuluo replied.
As the two spoke, sothing even stranger happened. A streak of blood-colored radiance suddenly appeared out of thin air atop that blood flower, and a subtle Mysterious Power of vitality seed to be pouring from the blood light into the blood flower.
Lu Ye glanced at Arbuluo again and found that he still looked doubtful and uneasy. Clearly he still hadn't seen anything, nor even sensed any anomaly.
Lu Ye stopped talking and watched closely.
Before long, the blood radiance that had appeared out of nowhere, along with the blood flower, slowly faded away. The Celestial God follower, who should have been dead, suddenly opened his eyes, vitality bursting forth.
Having just resurrected, he was clearly still sowhat dazed, unable to make sense of the current situation. But as soon as he saw Lu Ye, his figure moved at once, lunging to attack.
A large hand directly clamped around his neck and lifted him up. Arbuluo asked, "What do we do now?"
"Wait a mont," Lu Ye replied, a thoughtful look on his face.
This use of telepathy had indeed yielded quite a bit of useful information. It was just a pity it wasn't complete. Even so, it had allowed his research into Celestial God followers to make enormous progress.
