Outside the Three Worlds Island, over a hundred Moon Jades gathered with expressions of shock and doubt. They were summoned by Yuan Du, consisting partly of Moon Jades from Yiyuan World and mainly of Moon Jade governors from various Spirit Islands.

However, since they were willing to accept Yuan Du’s summons, they were more or less related to him.

The hundred Moon Jades were led by Yuan Cheng.

Yuan Du brought these people with the intention of using their power to break open the protective array of Three Worlds Island. After all, as a Sun Blaze, dealing with array destruction was a mundane task that didn’t require his personal intervention.

Unexpectedly, during this, the Blood Race turned coat, and Black Cloud boldly took action, forcing Yuan Du to cooperate and swiftly break the big array of Three Worlds Island.

Afterwards, one Sun Blaze after another took the stage, rendering the hundred Moon Jades completely ineffective.

However, they did not leave and remained outside Three Worlds Island, observing the situation.

The current situation was treacherous. Ma Bin was resisting the combined attack of Black Cloud and Mo Wenli; Luan Xiao’e and Yann Miao were fighting Muh Qing together. Yuan Du was severely injured, with his condition unknown. Chen Xuanba and Guk Xi disappeared into the Blood Sea after being struck by a mysterious golden light, nowhere to be found.

Yuan Cheng looked at the rolling, writhing Blood Sea, filled with fear deep within his heart, even feeling an unrest to flee imdiately.

He vaguely felt that this matter had escalated far beyond Yuan Du’s previous expectations.

But ultimately, he was a descendant of Yuan Du. If he fled now, he would have no place in the All Phenona Ocean in the future.

So, after hesitating for a mont, he clenched his teeth and shouted, "Fellow Daoists, join in attack, kill Lu Ye, save the governor!"

Once the words fell, he was the first to charge towards the Blood Sea.

Most of the hundred Moon Jades only hesitated slightly before following suit. So were indeed doubtful, but given the current situation, they had no choice.

The na of Three Worlds Island’s Lu Ye was indeed prominent. Now, he was showcasing such a massive Blood Sea Secret Technique, yet he was rely a Moon Jade, just one person. With over a hundred of them teaming up, wouldn’t they be able to take him down?

Moreover, there were three Sun Blaze within that Blood Sea. They did not believe these three would entirely lose their ability to resist. Even if bound by that mysterious golden light, killing Sun Blaze was not simple for Moon Jades. Perhaps Lu Ye of Three Worlds Island had already been captured by one of the Sun Blaze, and all they needed now was to put on a show to earn the friendship of the Sun Blaze governors in the future.

Hundreds of silhouettes rushed into the Blood Sea one after another, like stones sinking into the sea, without a ripple of blood.

Within the Blood Sea, Lu Ye raised his hand, gripping Chen Xuanba’s body. This once arrogant Sun Blaze warrior now resembled a dried fish, with his Essence Qi completely consud, life dissipating, following in the footsteps of Guk Xi and Yuan Du.

It wasn’t easy for Moon Jades to kill Sun Blaze, not to ntion the formidable physique of Sun Blaze. Lu Ye had struggled greatly when facing Lion Heart back then, precisely because of his strong physique. Yuan Du and the others had achieved Sun Blaze for many years, and their physical strength was exponentially greater than Lion Heart.

Even if they were bound without the power to resist, Lu Ye wielding the Boulder Mountain Saber would need to utilize the Drawn Saber Slash or Great Windmill Secret Technique for a chance.

But the Talent Tree’s devouring was unreasonable; a strong physique couldn’t stop the roots of the Talent Tree.

At this mont, Lu Ye’s eyes were shut tight because after consecutively devouring three Sun Blaze, he vaguely sensed so anomalies within himself.

Upon examination, he revealed a look of surprise.

On the Talent Tree, at a certain bifurcation of the trunk, a flower unexpectedly blossod, though the flower was about to wither, with a small black fruit beginning to form at the base.

For so unknown reason, seeing this black fruit caused an inexplicable unease in Lu Ye’s heart.

Without any reason, he could feel that once this black fruit matures completely, sothing very bad would happen to him.

He thought of Chao Nian, the forr Dao Tree successor.

It seed that Chao Nian must have gone through this stage; his significant personality shift should be related to this black fruit.

The Dao Tree can refine all things in the world, but the seven emotions and desires of living beings cannot be refined. These irredeemable aspects gather on the Talent Tree, bloom into flowers, bear fruit, and when matured, will completely alter a person’s disposition.

Even now, the newly forming black fruit, far from maturity, was causing a subtle change in Lu Ye’s temperant, making him seem more irate and violent.

Previously, during his training in the Asura Field, he tried this, devouring nurous shadows.

But that bout of training hadn’t caused him significant lasting effects, and Lu Ye had always thought the rumors were exaggerated or inaccurate.

Only today did he realize that devouring shadows and devouring real living beings were entirely different matters.

This made him slightly vigilant.

Withdrawing his mind, sensing his own Magic Source, it wasn’t yet perfect, but close. The essence of three Sun Blaze greatly enhanced the quality of the Magic Source.

At this pace, if he could devour two more Sun Blaze...

This idea arose, almost uncontrollable.

At this mont, Lu Ye suddenly felt a surge of vitality break into his Blood Sea.

The Blood Sea was an extension of his own blood Qi, and no subtle change within it could escape his examination. So, after a brief mont of pondering, Lu Ye understood what had happened.

"This is really..." Lu Ye shook off Chen Xuanba’s corpse, took a step forward, and disappeared from the spot.

Heaven has a path, yet you choose not to walk it; hell has no gate, yet you barge in!

"Ancestor! Ancestor, where are you?" Within the Blood Sea, Yuan Cheng continuously shouted, his face filled with panic and unease.

He had brought a hundred Moon Jade cultivators in, but now he couldn’t see a single person around him. The viscous Blood Sea hampered his movent, and even the flow of his mana beca much more obscure.

But it didn’t matter; he believed Yuan Du was still alive and should be sowhere around. As long as he could join forces with Yuan Du, he could ensure his own safety.

Additionally, the two Sun Blaze governors, Guk Xi and Chen Xuanba, were also in this Blood Sea. That Lu Ye from Three Worlds Island only had one Moon Jade cultivator; there was no way he could kill the three Sun Blaze cultivators.

The golden light that confined the Sun Blaze cultivators was unknown, but the Sun Blaze governors could certainly free themselves quickly. By then, they could easily break the Blood Sea and let this world see the sky again.

As he searched around, his foot suddenly stepped on sothing, and he quickly looked down.

At a glance, his expression turned from astonishnt to terror, because on the ground was a corpse, a dried corpse at that, and its face vaguely resembled Chen Xuanba, even wearing the sa clothes he had worn before.

"No! Impossible!" Yuan Cheng staggered back a few steps, unwilling to believe the scene before him. That Chen Xuanba was a Sun Blaze, how could he die so silently?

Suddenly, he bumped into sothing and turned his head, only to see a figure standing silently behind him in the Blood Sea, gazing at him with blood-red eyes.

That gaze... it was like a ravenous wolf seeing a delicious al.

"Lu Yiye!" Yuan Cheng was shocked, imdiately trying to activate his mana. However, the figure before him flashed, and he felt a sudden pain throughout his body, his consciousness becoming hazy.

He had only recently advanced to Moon Jade, so how could he possibly be a match for Lu Ye?

The next mont, an indescribable pain spread throughout his body, causing Yuan Cheng to cry out in agony.

A few breaths later, the sound dissipated. Lu Ye discarded Yuan Cheng’s corpse and vanished into the Blood Sea, muttering in dissatisfaction, "Too weak!"

He had discovered a pattern: the stronger the cultivator, the more benefits he could gain from devouring them.

The previous three Sun Blaze cultivators had visibly enhanced his Magic Source. Still, the Moon Jades who had recently entered the Blood Sea weren’t as impactful. For soone like Yuan Cheng, who had just advanced to Moon Jade, the improvent to his Magic Source was negligible. This was likely related to the quality of their Magic Source; the higher the quality of the devoured Magic Source, the greater the enhancent for Lu Ye.

Devouring Moon Jades wasn’t as effective as Sun Blazes, but there were many of them.

Over a hundred Moon Jades were scattered across the Blood Sea. They couldn’t find their enemy or see their companions; all they could do was continuously activate their power and blast in all directions.

This was the best way to deal with the Blood Sea. After all, the Blood Sea was a kind of secret technique, and as such, it had a limit to what it could endure. Breaking that limit would an breaking the Blood Sea.

Initially, Lu Ye’s Blood Sea did indeed beco unstable under the frenzied attacks of the many Moon Jades, continuously churning and seemingly about to shatter from the outside.

But after enduring the most dangerous early stage, as ti went on, the Blood Sea beca increasingly stable and gradually cald down.

Quietly and silently, streams of Moon Jade vitality vanished, as one by one, the cultivators who followed Yuan Cheng into the Blood Sea perished.

In their place, Lu Ye’s Magic Source continuously approached perfection.

The continuous devouring made him lose himself completely. Initially, he still rembered to occasionally check the changes in the black fruit on the Talent Tree, constantly staying vigilant. But as his Magic Source neared perfection and the exhilaration of devouring deepened, he forgot everything.

In his mind, there was only one thought - devour everything!

He didn’t know how much ti had passed until there were no more living things in the Blood Sea. As Lu Ye was about to move towards the densest cluster of vitality, his body suddenly halted.

At that mont, sothing very strange seed to happen within him, and it was this change that pulled at his heartstrings, interrupting his instinctive plan.

Suddenly shocked, he realized his previous state was... very wrong!

He checked the Talent Tree again, finding the original flower had disappeared, and the black fruit had grown to the size of a fist, with its blackness deepening and even gleaming.

This thing was not far from maturing!

He felt a chill in his heart, fortunate that his body’s change brought him back to his senses. Otherwise, if he continued, he feared he’d follow in Chao Nian’s footsteps, never returning from that forbidden path.

That was sothing he absolutely could not accept.

He couldn’t continue devouring! He resolved silently, and finally, he had the space to investigate what exactly the change in his body was.
