-At Night-
"Hmm, I still prefer a muggle suit, but these robes don't look bad on " I comnted, nodding satisfied with my appearance.
It was already night and I was in my room in Ravenclaw Tower, getting ready for the Yule Ball that was going to start in a few minutes.
And currently I was standing in front of a mirror checking my appearance, and even though I didn't like wearing formal clothes I was proud to say that I looked very beautiful.
The reflection in the mirror showed a tall, strong boy with black hair with brown highlights who was wearing a classic formal black robe with edges and details in dark blue and sky blue.
But what really caught the eye wasn't my clothes, but my bright amber eyes, which seed to exude power, danger and cunning.
And all of this together gave a wild and free appearance, which only increased my charm even more.
"Now I understand why my mom and Penny say I'm the prettiest boy ever," I sighed dramatically as I ran a hand through my hair.
Well, maybe they were both a little biased when they said that, but h, who cares?
*Knock! Knock!*
"Ethan, are you ready yet?" I heard Anthony's voice on the other side of the door.
"Yes" I replied, before looking at myself one last ti in the mirror, adjusting my clothes.
After that I left my room, finding my semi-badger friend waiting for , also already dressed for the ball.
"Are all the boys ready yet?" I asked.
"Yes, we are just waiting for you." he replied.
"And the girls?"
"Oh, they are still finishing getting ready, but they told us to wait for them in the Entrance Hall" and hearing that I nodded.
'Well, it's not like we didn't already know they were going to take a while to get ready,' I snorted ironically.
After that Anthony and I went down to the Common Room where we t with the other boys, and soon after that we all went towards the Entrance Hall.
And arriving at the Entrance Hall I could see that it was full of students from the three schools, who were waiting for the doors to the Great Hall to open.
And looking at all these students I could feel their excitent, anxiety, anticipation and nervousness.
'I can't say I don't understand them, since I'm also quite excited for this ball' I thought, smiling slightly.
"Hey Ethan" I heard soone call , and turning around I saw Harry coming towards .
"Hey Harry," I greeted him, before looking him up and down, "You look nice. Are you trying to impress soone?" I asked, smiling mischievously as I wiggled my eyebrows.
"N-no" he stuttered as he looked away.
"Hmm" I nodded, obviously not believing him.
And I was going to continue making fun of Harry, but so sighs caught our attention, and turning around we noticed everyone looking at a girl who was coming towards us.
And this girl was Hermione who had a shy smile on her face, and she looked completely different from the girl we knew.
She now had her straight, shiny hair in a fancy hairstyle, wore a little makeup, and her front teeth were smaller.
But in addition to the change in her appearance, she was also wearing a periwinkle blue dress, which made her stand out and enhanced her soft beauty.
'Well, I already knew this was going to happen and I always considered Hermione to be a pretty girl, but still seeing her like this is surprising' I thought.
And looking to the side I saw Harry staring at her with his mouth open, completely srized by his girlfriend's beauty.
"Careful. You're going to end up wetting your robe if you keep drooling like that" I said to Harry with a mischievous smile.
And that snapped Harry out of his stupor, with the boy imdiately closing his mouth before running his hand over it, realizing that he wasn't actually drooling.
He then heard laugh, making him blush in embarrassnt before looking at , "Haha, very funny" he said dryly.
And in response I just laughed more.
And it was at that mont that the Ravenclaw girls decided to show up.
"Finally. You guys took so long that I thought you got lost on the way here" Terry said.
"Stop exaggerating" Lisa rolled her eyes.
"Exaggerating? You started getting ready shortly after lunch!" Stephen, who was arm in arm with gan, exclaid.
"Well, it's true. But you don't know how difficult and ti consuming it is to look good like that" Sue gestured to herself with a smug look.
And the boys couldn't deny that they looked beautiful, but that didn't stop them from looking at Sue with blank expressions.
They then continued to talk, but I wasn't paying attention to them, as I had felt Luna arrive.
And I looked in her direction with a smile, only to freeze the mont I saw her coming towards with an excited smile and a dreamy look.
Her blonde hair was wavy and styled into a long, beautiful braid with so blue orchids adorning it, and she wore a light cobalt blue and silver dress, with small sparkling pebbles, making it look like a night sky.
And this entire ensemble gave her an almost ethereal and srizing appearance.
"Oh... Uh..." I stared at her dumbfounded.
"Oh, look who's drooling now" I heard Harry's voice, and I didn't even need to look to know that he had a shit-eating grin on his face.
"Shut up" I grumbled, but that only made his smile grow.
I then shook my head and controlled my emotions, before walking towards Luna.
And as soon as we were face to face, I was able to see her appearance in more detail, noticing the light makeup on her face, her innocent and excited smile, and her dreamy, happy eyes.
And looking at her I could see a strand of her wavy hair falling over her face, before she tucked it behind her ear as she looked at with her blue eyes.
And all of this made realize that I was going to the ball with the most beautiful girl at Hogwarts.
"You look beautiful Luna" was the first thing I said to her.
"Thank you" Luna smiled shyly, her cheeks slightly flushed, "You look beautiful too"
"I'm glad to hear that," I smiled softly.
And we were going to continue talking, but Professor McGonagall's voice caught our attention.
"Champions and their dates here, please!" Professor McGonagall called loudly.
"I think she's talking to us" I said, turning to Luna with a playful look.
"Hmm, maybe" she joked back.
I then extended my arm to her, and she took it gently, and together we walked over to where Professor McGonagall was waiting for us with the other champions.
And standing a little distance from the other students we saw the doors of the Great Hall open for them, and after all the students entered, only the champions, their dates, and Professor McGonagall were left outside.
And now that it was just us here I was able to take a good look at my fellow champions from other schools.
Krum was frowning as always, but he still tried to maintain a firm and proud posture, and accompanying him was a girl who I assud was from his school, since I had never seen her at Hogwarts before and she didn't look like the rich, stuck-up girls at Beauxbatons either.
After that I turned to look at the only female champion, and seeing Fleur I felt my breath stop for a second.
She wore a gray satin dress with cyan embroidery, which fitted her body showing her slim and curvy figure, and her golden blonde hair was in a simple yet elegant bun.
And I also noticed that she wore a pair of teadrop earrings and a silver necklace with an athyst pendant carved in the shape of a lotus flower, and I was happy to see her wearing them, as they were the Christmas present I gave her.
'Now I understand why so many girls are jealous of Veelas' I thought.
But then I shook my head and looked at the one who was accompanying Fleur, and I blinked when I saw that her date, just like in canon, was still Roger, who was staring at her in a daze.
'It seems like so things haven't changed' I mused.
But I was taken out of my thoughts when I felt soone looking at . I then looked at Fleur and saw her staring at , and realizing that I was looking at her she showed a beautiful smile.
And in response I smiled back and nodded at her.
And that was all of our short interaction, as Professor McGonagall walked in front of us, making pay attention to her.
And when she realized that I wasn't looking, Fleur looked at Luna who was holding my arm with a happy smile, and feelings of jealousy and envy arose in the French girl's chest.
'So she's the girl...' Fleur thought, frowning.
"Listen, when the doors open you will all follow into the Great Hall one pair at a ti," Professor McGonagall began to say, getting everyone's attention, "I will then lead you to the large round table at the end of the hall, where you will find your seats with your nas waiting for you."
And saying this she turned towards the door, but not before looking at with a proud and affectionate little smile.
'They really grow up fast...' she thought.
All of us, after seeing Professor McGonagall turn around, went behind her, forming a line in pairs following the order from the champion with the fewest points to the highest, which ant that Fleur was first, Krum second, Harry third, and I the last.
I could hear the voices inside the Great Hall quieting down as our entrance was announced, and I could also feel the excitent of everyone inside as well as the nervousness of those who were here with .
And looking at the girl next to I couldn't feel that nervousness coming from her, just happiness and joy.
"Are you ready Luna?" I asked my beautiful date.
"Yes, I am" she replied with an excited look, making smile slightly.
And right after that we looked ahead, and then the great doors of the Great Hall opened for us, starting the Yule Ball.
