-A few days later-

Today was a Tuesday, a normal school day, and after afternoon classes my friends and I decided to go to a quiet place with fresh air to rest and talk.

And after walking around the castle a bit we found a place, which was the Clock Tower courtyard, and now my friends and I were relaxing while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the late afternoon.

"Man, the teachers really aren't kidding," Terry comnted, sitting down on one of the stone benches in the courtyard with a tired look.

"Yes," Stephen nodded with a frown, sitting down on another bench next to Lisa, "And I don't think in the three years I've been at Hogwarts I've ever had to do as much howork and essays as I have in the last two weeks."

"If you thing it's bad now, then you might as well start getting ready, because the teachers are going to give us double and triple the amount of howork when we get to our fifth year," Sue said, drawing attention to her.

"And how do you know that?" Terry asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Sabrina from our house who is in the seventh year told ," Sue replied with a shrug, being one of the people in our group who socialized the most with our other housemates.

"Oh, and she also told that the lessons and howork are going to get even harder and more nurous in sixth and seventh year, and that we should make the most of our school days while we have ti" Sue continued, and now even she couldn't help but grimace slightly.

"Urgh... I don't think I want to be a wizard anymore," Stephen groaned, receiving nods of agreent from Terry and Anthony.

"You know, if the other Ravenclaws saw you acting like this over simple howorks, they would definitely call you heretics and fake Ravenclaws," Michael comnted with a disdainful snort.

"Hmph, those Ravenclaws can take all their precious howork and essays and shove it deep up their a—" Stephen started to say irritably, only to be cut off by Padma.

"Language, Stephen!" she said, looking at the muggleborn boy with a frown.

"What? I was going to say their trunk," Stephen defended himself, but from his expression it was obvious he was lying.

"Uh, I still don't understand why you guys are complaining so much," Lisa said, joining the conversation while looking at the boys with a strange look, "Sure, I can't deny that the teachers are giving us a lot of howorks, but it's not like they aren't also giving us plenty of ti to finish them."

"They know that Lisa, but they're complaining because they're all lazy slobs who let their howork pile up, only to have to finish it all in a hurry on the last day before it's due," Sue said, looking at Terry, Anthony, Stephen, and even Michael with a look of disdain.

"Hey, that's not true!" Anthony exclaid.

"Yeah, we're not lazy slobs!" Stephen said with a grimace, "We just don't do our howork early because we have much more important matters to attend to."

"Oh yeah?" Sue looked at him with a raised eyebrow as she crossed her arms, "Like what?"

"Hmm... Well..." Stephen began to say, stuttering because he knew he had no good answer to give Sue, and anything he said would only confirm his title as a lazy.

And Sue, upon noticing Stephen's silence, realized that she had won this battle. "That's what I figured," she said with a snort, looking at him smugly.

"Hey, why does it seem like you girls are against us today?" Terry asked, looking at the girls with a strange look, "With you three acting like this I'm starting to think you support teachers giving us hundreds of howorks."

"We are not against you, and we also do not support teachers giving us too much howork, but we think you're overreacting about all of this," Lisa said with a shrug.

"Yeah, you guys are being way too dramatic, and besides your complaining is starting to get annoying." Sue rolled her eyes.

"We're not exaggerating or being dramatic, it's just that you still don't understand how bad it is for us to not have ti for anything because we have to spend all day studying and writing essays," Terry complained, with a frown on his face.

"And look, even Ethan who always does his howork in advance looks stressed and exhausted with all this," he said, pointing at .

And the others, upon hearing his words, turned to look at , seeing sitting on another stone bench next to Luna in a strange silence.

And they noticed that besides being very quiet I was also looking down with a tired expression, yawning slightly as I made a small effort to try to keep my eyes open.

And this was strange and surprising to them, because I had always been the most energetic and lively person in the group, and they had never seen truly tired.

'Ugh, I regret not using History of Magic class to take a nap' I thought, not even paying attention to the discussion that was happening in front of .

Contrary to what my friends were thinking, I wasn't tired because of the lessons and howork the teachers were giving us, as I found them boring and easy for the most part, even preferring them to be a bit more creative and challenging.

I was actually tired because I spent the whole last night awake, reviewing my mories about everything I knew about the third task and Riddle's resurrection, creating plans and counterasures for when the mont ca.

And I knew that my body was strong and resilient enough for to go a day or two without sleep, but using occluncy to delve into my mind caused a lot of effort and ntal exhaustion.

And while my body was able to recover quickly from physical exhaustion, the sa could not be said for my mind, which was why I looked so tired and exhausted right now, because I had not yet recovered ntally.

"Hmm, are you okay Ethan? You seem a little distracted." Luna, who had also been quiet throughout the entire discussion, asked, looking at with her head tilted.

And even though her voice was calm and curious I could feel her concern for .

"I'm fine, I just didn't get a good night's sleep last night," I replied, stifling a yawn with my hand.

"Oh," Luna nodded, frowning slightly.

After that, the peculiar girl looked down, a worried and thoughtful look appearing on her face.

'Ethan looks really tired...' she thought, glancing at and seeing that the cheerful, lively boy who always made her feel happy and cared for didn't look so good.

'I wish I could do sothing to help him' she bit her lower lip.

Luna then started thinking about what she could do to help , and her ideas ranged from giving so chocolate pudding, because for her pudding always managed to cheer people up, to making a new necklace to keep the Wrackspurts away.

And as she continued thinking, she suddenly rembered a conversation that so Ravenclaw girls were having yesterday in the common room and that she had overheard by accident.

And in this conversation the girls were talking about a column in Witch Weekly magazine that was published last week, and this column talked about ways to make the boy they liked happy.

And one of these ways was precisely about what to do if the boy was tired.

'Hmm...' Luna played with her hands, hesitating as she wondered whether she should do what the Witch Weekly column suggested or not.

And as she thought about this, the blonde girl continued to look at the ground, hesitant and restless.

But Luna decided to look at again out of the corner of her eyes, and seeing with my shoulders slumped and eyes tired she began to feel her hesitation disappear, replaced by determination.

And with that change she finally made her decision.

Then gathering her courage Luna raised her head, looking directly at , "Ethan, would you like… would you like to lay on my lap?" she asked, feeling her cheeks flush completely.

And I, who was wondering whether I should go back to my room to get so sleep, nodded absently to her offer.

...

...

But in the next instant her words finally hit , and when they did I stopped, blinking before quickly turning to Luna.

"What?" I asked, losing so of my earlier tiredness.

'Did I hear wrong? Did Luna just offer a lap pillow?' I wondered, confused and sowhat shocked.

"I-I asked if you would like to lie on my lap, since that way you could rest a bit before dinner," Luna repeated, looking away as she began to feel embarrassed by her bold offer.

'Uh, I think my dried berry necklace is wearing off... I can already feel the Wrackspurts around confusing ,' she thought, fidgeting restlessly with her face almost as red as the Gryffindor Common Room.

End.
