Yeah! Here's the new chapter!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
As soon as I concluded that thought, I raised my wand in front of my chest, pointing it directly at the palm of my open hand.
In the space between my palm and the tip of my wand, a dense, white, almost translucent orb of energy began to form — pulsing rhythmically with a faint buzzing sound.
The orb quickly grew in size, and within seconds it had reached the size of a football ball, vibrating intensely and causing visible ripples in the air.
Sensing that the spell had reached the necessary power for what I wanted to do, I nodded slightly to myself, deciding it was ti to act.
But before doing so, I raised my head — and my wild, intense eyes t the cold, oppressive gaze of Voldemort.
With this visual clash between him and , an intense and fierce energy began to emanate from both of us — in a dangerous, tense and silent challenge.
'Heh' I smirked, no fear or worry on my face.
Noticing my smile, a flicker of interest flashed briefly in Riddle's crimson eyes. It was obvious I wasn't smiling for no reason. He knew sothing was about to happen — and he almost seed eager for it.
And seeing that Voldemort didn't intend to stop yet, I stopped paying attention to him, returning to focus on what was happening on this improvised battlefield.
The Death Eaters continued to bombard my shield, and when they saw cracks spreading across it — showing that it was close to shattering — they increased the intensity of their attacks, casting spells with impatience and fury.
With my empathy, I could feel waves of excitent and sadism pulsing within them... They were getting excited at the thought of our deaths.
'Filthy bunch of idiots,' I thought with a cold snort.
I then didn't wait for the Death Eaters to destroy the shield — I had no intention of letting them enjoy the pleasure of breaking it and leaving us at their rcy.
With a serious, determined look, I made my decision... I would destroy the shield with my own hands.
Gesturing sharply forward with my wand, I hurled the vibrant orb of energy at the magical do. Spreading my arms wide, I expanded the size of the spell even further.
*Vrooom!* The sound reverberated like powerful sonic waves through the air.
As soon as the orb hit the protective magical barrier, the shield began to tremble violently. More and more cracks appeared in it, spreading and accumulating like spiderwebs on glass.
*Crack!*
*Crack!*
And then...
...
*Boom!*
With one final chaotic vibration, the shield shattered explosively, bursting apart like fragile glass.
The destruction of the shield, although it seed like a suicidal and senseless move, was actually completely calculated.
The internal collapse of the barrier, combined with my spell, created a violent pulsation reaction that repelled all the spells coming toward Harry and . At the sa ti, the shockwave of my attack pushed all the dark wizards aggressively backward.
So Death Eaters were thrown to the ground, while others were forced to stop their attacks to protect themselves from this shockwave.
Voldemort, on the other hand, remained unmoving. His black cloak flapped with the vibrating air, but his narrow eyes were locked onto us — threateningly.
Ignoring the murderous intentions coming from Lord "I split my soul like it's made of Legos", I saw a gap appear in the midst of the disoriented Death Eaters, giving the perfect opportunity to strike back at them.
So, without waiting for them to recover, I imdiately attacked them with fury and precision.
'Let's go for round two!' I thought, charging toward the Death Eaters.
My steps were quick and precise, and with my wand in hand, I cast a concussive spell at two Death Eaters who were trying to get back up.
"{Abruptio}!"
Before they could react, the blast from the spell threw them back again, their wands flying from their hands. And judging by the snapping sounds that followed the thuds of their bodies falling to the ground, they'd probably dislocated so bones as well.
"{Diffindo}!" I shouted, targeting another dark wizard, hitting him and leaving a nasty cut on his arm.
"Argh!" he groaned in pain, clutching his arm to stop the bleeding.
One of his supremacists buddies, upon seeing this, stepped forward to stand in front of him, offering cover and support.
anwhile, the remaining Death Eaters regrouped, starting to form a circle around .
'Hmm, they're more united and disciplined than I expected,' I analyzed.
Then again, it made sense. These were people who had fought in a bloody war — obviously they would be able to adapt to this situation.
!!
My instincts suddenly warned of an attack coming from behind , snapping out of my thoughts.
Without hesitation, I ducked imdiately, seeing a yellow ray passing over my head.
Another spell followed right after that, and to dodge it I had to roll to the side, before turning to face the attacker.
This Death Eater, upon noticing my gaze upon him, rely snorted in obvious disdain. And without hesitation, he cast another curse at .
This ti, I paid close attention to his magic — and noticed sothing strangely familiar... His magic signature was very similar to the magic of my Slytherin friend, Theo.
'So this is Mr. Nott,' I realized, dodging his spell as my eyes narrowed cruelly.
From the few things Theo had told about his family, I knew his father was a dark wizard nearly — or just as — despicable as Draco's dad.
Lucius could be a vile, prejudiced and unbearable person, but at least he cared about his family and treated his son well... unlike Nott.
'Well, let's do Theo and his mom a little favor... by hurting his father really bad.'
With that small goal in mind, I began retaliaring his attacks with my own spells.
"{Sanguinius}!"
"{Sectumsempra}!"
"{Umbra Mortis}!"
Incantations ca out of my mouth as powerful spells shot from the tip of my wand. From the beginning, I hadn't even considered using simple offensive magic against him.
Fiercely — and with a touch of cruelty — I fired brutal and dark curses, choosing the ones that I knew, if they hit him, would definitely leave him seriously injured.
"Damn it!" Nott swore, sensing the danger behind the spells.
The arrogance and contempt he had showed just monts ago were gone, replaced by panic and caution.
He was also clearly pissed off, offended by the fact that he was being forced by to remain on the defensive — sothing he considered humiliating.
But more than just anger, he was also feeling fear... and confusion. He couldn't understand why I seed so hostile toward him, as if I held so deep, personal grudge against him.
Watching the shield he had conjured shatter after another barrage of my spells, a grimace appeared on Nott's face — visible even beneath his mask.
'Shit! Why aren't you helping !?' he ntally scread at his fellow Death Eaters.
Unfortunately for him, his supremacist friends couldn't help him in that mont — and it wasn't because they didn't want to.
Actually, during my savage assault, they did try to attack and pull away from Nott. But even though I was focusing exclusively on him, I still kept my attention on the other wizards in the graveyard.
Without even needing to take my eyes off Nott, I blocked and dodged these dark wizards' spells with instinctive precision, even striking back at them at opportune monts.
'This boy is an aberration!' so of the Death Eaters thought.
Seeing how efficiently and easily I dealt with his servants, Voldemort, who was observing the fight, frowned darkly — more irritated by their incompetence than impressed with .
He then clicked his tongue before slowly raising his wand, pointing it at , ready to curse .
"{Stupefy}!"
But before the Dark Lord could make his move, a spell was cast against him.
"Hm..." he calmly redirected that spell, turning to face the one who dared attack him.
"So it's you..." he hissed slowly.
End.
