The warrior, ignoring the pain of his severed arm, took a deep breath. Above him, the blazing brilliance of the sun shone down, illuminating the Gu insects with golden light. They spread their wings, continually bombarding the flas, and the dense golden glow was enough to make one's scalp tingle.

At this mont, on the third Immortal Mountain, two sneaky figures flashed by.
"You brat, what exactly do you want to do?" In the grand hall, Jin Li looked at Xu Fan, displeased.
Originally, Jin Li was on the fifth Immortal Mountain watching the battle with many other disciples of the Heavenly Witch Sect. The battle of Immortal Venerable level warriors made Jin Li yearn and be spellbound. However, by so divine or ghostly providence, Jin Li suddenly glanced in the direction of the third Immortal Mountain. Was that cunning kid regretting not joining the Heavenly Witch Sect?
With one look, he saw Xu Fan sneakily waving at him.
Thus, this scene unfolded.
"Senior, I have an unreasonable request. I wish for your assistance with a small matter."
Jin Li, slightly startled by Xu Fan's sudden low deanor, quickly understood. This fellow was likely regretting and wishing for Jin Li to intercede on his behalf to rejoin the Heavenly Witch Sect.
With a glance, Jin Li pulled up a chair, sat down, crossed his legs, and peered at Xu Fan, "Oh? Senior? I'm not worthy of that title!"
"What kind of help? Speak and let hear."
Xu Fan subtly inciting trouble against Zi Luo Immortal Monarch, causing Jin Li to lose face, was sothing Jin Li rembered vividly. Now encountering such an opportunity, how could Jin Li let it pass?
Xu Fan chuckled without anger, instead moving behind Jin Li and extending his hands to massage his shoulders. Earlier, Xu Fan had been watching the battle from afar, recalling what Chu Le'er had told him. Vaguely, he understood why Chu Le'er had forced him to join the Heavenly Witch Sect.
In this battle, Chu Le'er never intended to return alive. And having fought to this extent, it surely would have startled the Celestial Emperor. Chu Le'er couldn't return either!
Unable to return ant certain death! This was also why Chu Le'er had shared past secrets of the Heavenly Witch Sect with him. Chu Le'er hoped the ancient glory of the Heavenly Witch Sect could continue in so form.
And the best way was to invite him into the sect and send him away at the last mont.
Inviting him to join was not to use him but to leave a shred of hope for the Heavenly Witch Sect, or perhaps a bit of legacy.
And that was why Xu Fan was here.
He couldn't bear to walk away and abandon such a captivating person.
"Rubbish! Even with Celestial Emperors and Divine Artifacts, they're useless against my Heavenly Witch Blood Formation!"
Jin Li's fierce words made the table sound with thuds as if proving his loyalty while bolstering his courage.

Xu Fan's calm words echoed like thunder in Jin Li's mind.
"Xu, Xu Fan, what do you suggest we should do?" Jin Li trembled all over, the previous boldness gone.
Xu Fan smiled slightly, gently patting Jin Li on the shoulder. "Very simple, as long as the two of us work together, we can scare them away."
"The two of us? Work together?" Jin Li's face was full of terror. "Scare away Immortal Venerables? Xu Fan, you're joking?"
Xu Fan stood calmly, wearing a gentle smile, quietly watching Jin Li.

Xu Fan couldn't let Jin Li tell Chu Le'er all this. The unsealed Qing Niao glinted with frosty light, and spots of fresh blood began oozing from his neck.
Jin Li turned back, forcing out a smile uglier than a cry, "Xu, Xu Ye, I agree, sir."
