Just like yesterday, Chen Nan went outside the city to find a quiet place to practice his cultivation.

Chen Nan walked in, “Didn’t I tell you to leave after drinking the porridge this morning? Why haven’t you gone?”
“I did leave, but then I ca back.” The girl looked at Chen Nan innocently, then pulled out a thick book and placed it on the table saying, “Look what I’ve brought you.”
Chen Nan said, “I told you to leave, not to bring things back.”
The girl looked at him with a face full of grievance and said while holding the book, “This is a comprehensive text collection. I just want to teach you to read. Your cultivation is high, but if you don’t know the words, you’ll easily be at a disadvantage.”
Chen Nan walked towards the window, turning his back to her, “I rescued you as a simple act, there’s no need for you to be so good to .”

The girl’s good nature made Chen Nan truly willing to befriend her.
